The following are among the abuses and murders inflicted on Christians by Muslims throughout the month of October 2023.

The Sexual Abuse and Forced Conversion of Christians

Pakistan: Three Muslim men abducted and violently gang-raped a 16-year-old Christian girl, Persis Masih, on her way to Sunday church service. The girl’s father, a pastor, and most of the family had left early for church, while Persis continued to get ready. She never appeared at church and was not home when they returned. After immediately filing a report with police, “the family spent a sleepless night contacting relatives in the hope of finding Persis,” according to the Oct. 1 report. Eventually,

“[T]he family heard Persis moaning for help outside their gate. The culprits, realizing the severity of her condition, had callously dropped her off. Supported by her elder brother Yessi Masih, Persis was brought inside the house, her physical and emotional state in shambles… [After rushing her to a hospital, the] medical examination revealed the horrifying truth—Persis had been gang-raped. Despite the trauma, she bravely identified one of the perpetrators, Muhammad Atif, thanks to the assistance of the local police and CCTV footage.”

Police acted quickly and arrested Atif before he fled the region. After commending police for this uncharacteristic move—police in Pakistan are notorious for turning a blind eye to the persecution of Christians—a local reporter, Aliyas Wattu, remarked that, “Persis was also beaten, and she bears visible marks of violence on her body.” The report concludes that “Persis’ suffering did not end with the assault; she bore visible marks of violence. The family, already grappling with the emotional toll, faces an arduous journey towards justice.”

In a separate incident, “a gang of armed robbers subjected two Christian women to sexual assault at gunpoint while keeping the men tied up and confined to a room.” According to the report, “This nightmarish event occurred in the early hours of September 14th.” Shortly after midnight, when the entire family was asleep, six men quietly broke into the Christian household. The father, Intezar Masih, his wife Rani (41), his sister Farzana (36), and children were, “to their sheer horror,” rudely awakened to find themselves “encircled by six masked men brandishing firearms.” According to Intezar, “We were warned not to make any noise, as the armed robbers were armed with pistols and heavy guns.” Two of the men held the family hostage, as the other four ransacked the house, “looting everything they could lay their hands on.” Then they took Intezar and his children to a separate room: “Two of the robbers,” he said, “forcibly dragged me by my shoulder, took the children inside the room, beat me severely, and eventually tied me up with a rope before departing.”

“The children and their patriarch were left bound and confined to the room, while Rani Bibi (41 years old) was taken to another room, where she cried out for mercy while enduring horrific sexual assaults by two of the men. Simultaneously, two other assailants took Farzana Bibi into a separate room, where she became the victim of sexual assault at gunpoint.

“After this horrendous ordeal, Rani Bibi was brought back to the veranda, only to be taken to Mr. Masih’s welding workshop, where the remaining robbers subjected her to further sexual violence. The criminals left the family in a state of utter pain, trauma, and fear, warning them of dire consequences if they attempted to pursue them or contact the police….”

Discussing this incident, Juliet Chowdhry, of the British Asian Christian Association, said:

A Christian woman resident of Maalula told the media saying, ‘They arrived in our town at dawn and shouted ‘We are from the Al-Nusra Front and have come to make lives miserable for the Crusaders,’ the woman who was identified as Marie, further narrated that after their first advance against the town, Christians started fleeing

The town was home to considerable large Christian population. According to estimate, about 5,000 of the residents of Maalula speak Aramaic, the language spoken by Jesus himself. The militant outfit has tightened its grip over the Maalula in order to use it as a launching base for anti-regime attacks.” Read more.

Georgia: Muslim Woman In Burqa Attacks Family For Flying An American Flag – “A family in Lawrenceville said they were attacked by a total stranger just because they were flying an American Flag. Amina Ahra, 30, was arrested on two counts of simple battery after being accused of attacking a mother and daughter at their home. Dami Arno told police she was in the garage talking with her daughter when she said Ahra came out of the woods wearing a full Burka, grabbed the flag from off the mailbox and charged at them… ‘A lady walked out of our woods in a full Burka, full attire, stares at us for a minute, then grabs my American flag off of my mailbox and charges towards us with it, just swinging it with all her might,’ the wife and mother said.” Read more.

Texas: Muslim Assaults, Spits On Cops, Says He’s Affiliated With The Islamic State – “A man is in jail, charged with assaulting and harassing an officer with the Arlington Police Department. Investigators tell CBS 11 News, something that suspect said during the incident also prompted police to notify the FBI. Wahib Sadek now faces charges of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, and assaulting a public servant…  Police say they found several firearms inside Sadek’s car. Investigators also learned later that Sadek allegedly threatened another woman with a knife before the incident in Arlington… Agents with the FBI were contacted because police say during the arrest Sadek claimed to be affiliated with the ISIS terrorist group. By BosNewsLife Africa Service – “Hundreds of Christians in northeastern Kenya have fled their homes after at least six Christians were killed in a new wave of Islamic attacks, Christians and aid workers say.

In the latest published incident, Islamic militants of the al Shabaab group entered Maporomoko village in Lamu County, killing four believers, local Christians and aid workers said.

‘Two were shot, one was beheaded, and another died because his house had been set on fire,’ explained Voice of the Martyrs Canada (VOMC), an advocacy group closely monitoring the situation in a statement obtained by BosNewsLife.

Some reportedly survived the January 31st attack, details of which only emerged recently. Eyewitnesses said it’s clear that the attackers were hunting down Christians.

In other known attacks, two people were killed on December 21st, 2015 when al Shabaab militants stopped a bus that was travelling to the capital of Mandera region. ‘Fortunately, they were unsuccessful in their attempts to segregate the Christian passengers from those who were Muslim. This was largely due to several Muslim passengers who, in their efforts to protect the Christians aboard, refused to cooperate with the rebels,’ VOMC said

‘One of the Christian passengers, however, was killed while trying to escape, and so was the driver of a separate vehicle after he approached the stopped bus.’ Witnesses said militants killed the other driver when they learned he was a Christian.” Read more.

But what do they think will happen when these Muslim refugees are fully settled in Germany? Do they think they will stop persecuting Christians then? Europe is committing suicide before our eyes.

‘Christian refugees are under threat from other asylum seekers, says German bishop,’ Catholic Herald, February 19, 2016:

The Archbishop of Cologne has warned that Christian refugees are being threatened by other asylum seekers in refugee camps, according to a report in The Tablet.

Speaking at an ecumenical service in Dusseldorf last Saturday, Cardinal Rainer Woelki said: “Concern is growing that politicians and the authorities might not be taking such threats seriously enough. Christian persecution is not a topic of bygone ages,” he warned.

He said Germany must speak out more loudly for religious freedom rights, a right that Christians in Muslim countries also had. “That is what we demand,” Woelki said.

That kind of talk, if Woelki follows its logical progression, will lead him right into Islamic theology. It is virtually certain that he will not follow it that far.

Meanwhile, Gottfried Martens, a Protestant pastor told katholisch.de that the “mobbing” of Christian refugees in refugee camps in Germany was increasing.

He said it was no longer rare for entire Muslim communities in refugee shelters to threaten Christians.

He claimed that Christians had been forced to watch videos of beheadings, were barred from using the kitchen because they were “unclean” and had been beaten up and their crosses removed from their necks.

As a solution, he suggested accommodation Muslims and Christians separately. He said: “In our efforts to be tolerant, which are in themselves praiseworthy, we cannot just let Christians become some kind of guinea pigs.

I can hear Catholic bishops in Europe and the U.S. responding, ‘Oh, yes we can.’

“Whenever I talk to politicians, I’m told that the churches do not think that separate housing is necessary and I’m left looking stupid.”

By Niraj Warikoo, Detroit Free Press – “A 21-year-old Dearborn Heights man threatened terror attacks in support of ISIS with targets including police and a Detroit church with up to 6,000 members, according to a federal criminal complaint unsealed Thursday.

Khalil Abu-Rayyan, 21, has not been charged with any terrorism crime. In an affidavit filed in a criminal complaint on a weapons and marijuana charge, he’s described as being an ISIS supporter who talked about committing violent acts of terrorism, including shootings and beheadings.

In his affidavit, FBI Special Agent Alan Southard said that Abu-Rayyan had been investigated by the FBI since May.

‘Since May of 2015, the FBI has been conducting an investigation of Khalil Abu-Rayyan regarding increasingly violent threats he has made to others about committing acts of terror and martydom — including brutal acts against police officers, churchgoers and others — on behalf of the foreign terrorist organization Islamic State of Iraqi and Levant.’ …

The FBI had been tracking Abu-Rayyan through social media, phone conversations, and surveillance. He had two Twitter accounts on which he expressed support for ISIS, the FBI said in the complaint.

According to the affidavit in the complaint, an undercover FBI employee was communicating with Abu-Rayyan. In December, the undercover FBI employee and Abu-Rayyan had ‘daily conversations’ that took place ‘over the course of several weeks,’ said the affidavit.

‘During these conversations, Abu-Rayyan consistently expressed support for ISIL and repeatedly expressed his desire to commit a martyrdom operation.’

According to the affidavit, Abu-Rayyan also told the undercover FBI employee: ‘I tried to shoot up a church one day. I don’t know the name of it, but it’s close to my job. It’s one of the biggest ones in Detroit. Ya, I had it planned out. I bought a bunch of bullets. I practice a lot with it. I practice reloading and unloading. But my dad searched my car one day and he found everything. He found the gun and the bullets and a mask.’

‘Abu-Rayyan said he targeted a church because, ‘it’s easy and a lot of people go there. Plus people are not allowed to carry guns in church. Plus, it would make the news. Everyone would’ve heard. Honestly, I regret not doing it. If I can’t do jihad in the Middle East, I would do my jihad over here.”” Read more.

By Thomas D. Williams, Breitbart – “In a high-level meeting on religious persecution in Brussels, the President of the European Parliament (EP) said that Europe cannot afford to continue ignoring the fate of Christians, who are ‘clearly the most persecuted group’ in the world.

In Wednesday’s meeting, EP President Martin Schulz said that the persecution of Christians is ‘undervalued’ and does not receive enough attention, which has also meant that it ‘hasn’t been properly addressed.’

Schulz’s concerns were echoed by EP Vice President Antonio Tajani, who warned that Europe sometimes ‘falls into the temptation of thinking we can ignore this task,’ referring to the protection Christians throughout the world who suffer persecution.

Speakers cited the work of Open Doors, a human rights organization that monitors the persecution of Christians, noting that 150 million Christians worldwide suffer torture, rape and arbitrary imprisonment. Christians in Iraq, Somalia, Syria, Pakistan, North Korea and Nigeria are among those hardest hit.

The Open Doors report for 2015 found that ‘Islamic extremism is by far the most significant persecution engine’ of Christians in the world today and that ’40 of the 50 countries on the World Watch List are affected by this kind of persecution.’

For Islamists, Tajani said, Christians are the new ‘crusaders’ of Europe, and because of Islamic persecution in the Middle East more than 70 percent of Christians have fled Iraq since 2003, with another 700 thousand Christians who have been forced to leave their home in Syria since the outbreak of civil war.

‘Each month 200 churches and places of worship in the world are attacked and destroyed. Every day and in every region of the world, there are new cases of persecution against Christians,’ said Tajani.

‘No religious community is as subject to hatred, violence and systematic aggression as the Christians,’ he said…

‘It should shake us up,’ said Schulz, ‘that on our continent, Christians are not safe.'” Read more.

By Meg Wagner, New York Daily News – “At least 27 people were killed when 10 Al Qaeda gunmen stormed the Radisson Blu Hotel in Mali’s capital and took 170 hostages — but the grenade-toting assailants spared the Muslims inside.

The hostage situation ended Friday when Mali troops, backed by U.S. Special Forces and a unit from France, freed dozens of the hostages, including six Americans.

Security forces killed two of the militants during their rescue operation, and the troops are still battling the rest of the gunmen who are holed up in the five-star hotel.

‘The attackers no longer have hostages,’ Mali security ministry spokesman Amadou Sangho said. ‘They are alone with the Malian special forces who are trying to dislodge them.’

The gunmen arrived in a diplomatic car and locked in 140 guests and 30 employees inside the Bamako resort Friday morning. By the end of the bloody raid, 27 bodies were found inside the hotel after the attack, a U.N. peacekeeper said.

Al-Mourabitoun, an African Jihadist group affiliated with al Qaeda, claimed responsibility for the attack.

The armed Islamic attackers, who shouted ‘Allahu Akbar’ as they overran the resort, released hostages who were able to recite the Koran, a security source said.” Read more.

Boston: The Unfortunate, Yet Unsurprising, Aftermath Of Muslim Immigration

The Muslim attack on Christians in a migrant boat crossing the Mediterranean is a sign of our times, a dark symbol and metaphor for a future which is rapidly beginning to come into focus:

We are all in a boat together, but there is a band of people in our boat which seeks to throw the rest of us overboard, to kill us, to sink and drown us, to eliminate us.

The fate of the murdered Christian migrants is the image of our future, unless we too form a human chain to resist our attackers.

‘Italian Police: Muslim Migrants Threw Christians Overboard,’ By Hada Messia, Livia Borghese and Jason Hanna, AINA, November 20, 2015:

Rome (CNN) — Muslims who were among migrants trying to get from Libya to Italy in a boat this week threw 12 fellow passengers overboard — killing them — because the 12 were Christians, Italian police said Thursday.

Italian authorities have arrested 15 people on suspicion of murdering the Christians at sea, police in Palermo, Sicily, said.

The original group of 105 people left Libya on Tuesday in a rubber boat. Sometime during the trip north across the Mediterranean Sea, the alleged assailants — Muslims from the Ivory Coast, Mali and Senegal — threw the 12 overboard, police said.

Other people on the voyage told police that they themselves were spared “because they strongly opposed the drowning attempt and formed a human chain,” Palermo police said.

The boat was intercepted by an Italian navy vessel, which transferred the passengers to a Panamanian-flagged ship. That ship docked in Palermo on Wednesday, after which the arrests were made, police said.

The 12 who died were from Nigeria and Ghana, police said.

Thousands of people each year make the dangerous sea journey from North Africa to Europe’s Mediterranean coast, often aboard vessels poorly equipped for the trip. Many of them attempt the voyage to flee war and poverty in Africa and the Middle East.

More than 10,000 people have arrived on Italian shores from Libya since last weekend alone, according to the Italian coast guard.

Many die each year while attempting the voyage, often when boats capsized. Last year at least 3,200 died trying to make the trip. Since 2000, according to the International Organization for Migration, almost 22,000 people have died fleeing across the Mediterranean.

The IOM reported Thursday the latest boat to sink in trying to make the journey. Only four people survived from the original 45 on board, bringing the estimated death toll so far this year close to a thousand.

The attackers smashed wooden statues of the Virgin Mary and Jesus on the cross during the shocking attack earlier this week.

They stormed the Church of our Lady of Carmen in the Spanish town of Rincon de la Victoria, Andalucia on Monday morning.

Spain’s Civil Guard has now launched a probe into the vandalism.

A spokesman for the Diocese of Malaga said the attack – first discovered by priest Agustin Carrasco – was not representative of all Muslims.

He also said it was committed to maintaining ‘respect and fraternity between different religious groups’.

Last month a Moroccan man was arrested in the same town after allegedly trying to damage another statue of the Virgin Mary.

The 27-year-old repeatedly launched a large rock at a wall protecting the statue.

He is also said to have shouted the Arabic phrase ‘Allahu Akbar’ – meaning ‘God is great’ [ICA: “Allahu Akbar” actually means “Allah is Greater”] – while being led away from the shrine by police.” Read more.
