“An Unforgivable Act”: UN General Assembly Votes To Upgrade Palestinian Statehood Status

The nations that have aligned themselves with genocidal terrorists against Israel are inching closer to unilaterally declaring a “Palestinian” state and giving the “Palestinians” full UN membership. The Jerusalem Post – “The United Nations General Assembly voted 143-9 to upgrade the Palestinian’s status as a non-member observer state, granting it all but voting rights with regard to all activities related to its plenum.

Argentina, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Israel, Micronesia, Nauru, Papa New Guinea, Palau, and the United States opposed the resolution.

Among those countries that supported the text were many European Union members, Belgium, Denmark, Estonia, France Greece, Ireland, Luxembourg, Portugal, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia, and Spain.

Australia also supported the resolution, while Canada, Great Britain, and Ukraine abstained.

There are already some 143 countries that recognize Palestine as a state.

The UNGA vote, which is mostly symbolic, is viewed as an international referendum in support of unilateral Palestinian statehood.” Read more.

Israel National News – “Nuclear weapons have no place in Iran’s nuclear doctrine, the country’s foreign ministry said on Monday, days after a Revolutionary Guards commander warned that Tehran might change its nuclear policy if pressured by Israeli threats, Reuters reported.

‘Iran has repeatedly said its nuclear program only serves peaceful purposes. Nuclear weapons have no place in our nuclear doctrine,’ ministry spokesperson Nasser Kanaani was quoted as having said during a press conference in Tehran.

Message Sent: Israel Launches Retaliatory Airstrikes Against Iran, Sites In Syria And Iraq Reportedly Hit

Up until earlier today 4/18 it was reported that any Israeli retaliation against Iran would not happen until after Passover (4/22 to 4/30), however multiple sites across Iran were struck during the early morning of 4/19 according to multiple sources. Though Israeli strikes are likely to be limited in scope at the request of the US (perhaps as part of an agreement with Israel to approve imminent IDF operations against Hamas in Rafah), Iranian officials now seem to be downplaying the strikes in order to save face and act as though there is no need to retaliate further (perhaps at the request of Turkey).

NEWSMAX – “An Israeli airstrike has targeted at least one site in Iran, ABC News reported Thursday night, citing a U.S. official.

However, reports also poured in Thursday night of explosions in Syria that also are purportedly linked to Israeli airstrikes.

Explosions were reported in Isfahan and Natanz in Central Iran, home to significant facilities for Iran’s nuclear program. At least three large explosions were heard near Isfahan, according to reports.

Iran’s state-run Fars News Agency reported explosions were heard in Isfahan airport. Isfahan is roughly 215 miles south of the Iranian capital of Tehran.

There were also reports of unknown aircraft over the Iraqi cities of Erbil and Mosul near Baghdad, according to the Jerusalem Post.

Also, Syrian ground forces were targeted in Izra in southern Syria, in the As-Suwayda and Daraa Governorates, according to the Post. Independent news platform DeirEzzor24 reported Israeli airstrikes targeted Al-Tha’lah Airport in Sweida, Syria.

The Post reported that strikes in the As-Suwayda area were confirmed.

The Post and CNN reported that commercial passenger flights appeared to be diverting over Iran. CNN reported at least eight flights diverted over Iranian airspace. The state run Iranian Mehr News Agency reported that Iran suspended flights over Tehran, Isfahan and Shiraz.” Read more.

The Jerusalem Post – “Saudi Arabia acknowledged that it had helped the newly forged regional military coalition — Israel, the United States, Jordan, the United Kingdom, and France — repel an Iranian attack against the Jewish state early Sunday morning, in an unusual post on its royal family’s website.

It referenced a story on KAN News about the Saudi involvement in the military defensive operation in which 99% of the Iranian drones and missiles were destroyed before hitting their targets.

Many of the drones and missiles had to travel over Jordanian and Saudi airspace to reach Israel.

Jordan has been public about its involvement, while the closest Saudi Arabia has come to acknowledging it was the story it posted on its website summarizing what a source from the Saudi royal family had told KAN.

‘The individual subtly acknowledges Saudi Arabia’s supposed involvement in thwarting Iranian attack drones bound for Israel the previous evening, citing that Saudi Arabian airspace automatically intercepts any suspicious entity‘, the report on the royal family’s website stated.

‘The same figure takes a swing at Iran, accusing them of instigating a conflict in Gaza. This, they suggest, is a deliberate attempt to unravel the progress established towards normalizing relations with Israel, as per KAN’s report,’ it added.

Cowardice: Biden Administration Abandons Israel, Refuses To Veto UN Resolution Demanding “Immediate Ceasefire”

Today’s UN resolution calls for an “immediate ceasefire” and the release of hostages being held by Hamas, but you can be certain that the international focus will not be upon the innocent men, women and children illegally held hostage by the bloodthirsty terrorists who started this war but upon contravening Israel’s legal right to self defense as affirmed under Article 51 of the UN Charter. The passing of today’s anti-Israel resolution is a gift to Islamist fundamentalism that will not bring a swift end to the Gaza conflict, but will expand it, serving as yet another hook in the jaws of Israel’s enemies to unite and formulate military alliances of their own against the only democracy in the Middle East in the name of international “peace and security.”

If America and the United Nations truly believed in, and hoped for, peace in Gaza they’d all be supporting Israel’s efforts to crush Hamas once and for all. Although today’s resolution is arguably not legally binding (some are reporting that it is), the cowardice of the Biden Administration’s refusal to stand with Israel in her time of need nudges America from being in a position of blessing to a position of cursing Israel. And to curse Israel will not bode well for America …

Israel National News – “The US did not use its veto against a UN Security Council Resolution demanding an immediate ceasefire in Gaza during the month of Ramadan and calling for the immediate release of all hostages held by Hamas, allowing the resolution to pass. The US did veto a second Russian-sponsored resolution calling for a permanent ceasefire.

The first resolution passed with 14 votes in favor and one abstention, from the US.

US Ambassador to the UN Thomas-Greenfield said that the decision not to use America’s veto was made after multiple changes were made to the resolution that America had sought. However, multiple changes the US had sought were not included, such as a section condemning the Hamas terrorist organization.

The resolution is not legally binding.

Earlier, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned that he would cancel an Israeli delegation to Washington that would have discussed the upcoming operation to crush Hamas’s last four battalions in Rafah and free the hostages still held in Gaza.

‘If the USA does not veto the resolution, which calls for a ceasefire that is not dependent on the release of the hostages, I will cancel the Israeli delegation’s trip to Washington,’ Netanyahu said.” Read more.

April 8th 2024 Solar Eclipse: A Portent Of Judgment? An Omen For War? Or Nothing At All?

Luke 21:25, “And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken …”

Could the upcoming solar eclipse of April 8th 2024 be a sign of impending judgment coming upon America? For the nations collectively to repent before the Lord?
