Morning Star News – “A secret Christian of Somali ancestry is still in pain as he recovers from a Muslim extremist attack here that left him in a coma for five days.

Five Somali immigrant Muslims on Aug. 15 threw Mohammed Ali, a 30-year-old convert from Islam, from a fourth-story apartment building in Nairobi’s Eastleigh area, according to a friend.  Ali, who lives in another area and is receiving treatment at Kenyatta National Hospital, was helping the friend to move.

‘Mohammed left Eastleigh six years ago after escaping an attack,’ said his wife, whose name is undisclosed for security reasons. ‘I had been telling him to be careful of the Muslims at Eastleigh, as they are not happy with his conversion to Christianity.’

Ali and his wife have two daughters, 5 and 3.

Ali and the friend were waiting at the friend’s place in Eastleigh, which has a large population of Somali immigrants, for a vehicle to transport household items in the move. Told to wait until 5 p.m., at that hour they called the driver, who said he was held up in a traffic jam. They continued to wait.

At 9 p.m., they heard a knock on the door. Ali’s friend, whose name is undisclosed for security reasons, went to open it thinking the driver of the transport vehicle had arrived. As he opened the door, one of five men told him, ‘We are looking for Mohammed,’ the friend said.

Ali’s friend told them that it was late and that they should come back to see him early in the morning, but they pushed their way in, pulled Ali out of the room and threw him over a balcony from the fourth-floor apartment building.

His speech and memory impaired, Ali was able to speak with Morning Star News for no more than one minute.

‘I just found myself in the hospital bed,’ he said. ‘How I got into the hospital, I do not know.’

A doctor at the hospital said Ali’s bladder was injured. A deep wound to his stomach appeared to indicate he had been slashed with a knife.

Ali said someone may have set him up to be attacked. His wife and others said they believe he was deliberately made to wait at his friend’s place in order to provide a more isolated moment for the assailants to try to kill him.” Read more.

First they gained entry to the rectory of Libiola and stole the money collected by the children of Grest, and then, still not happy, they entered the nearby church which, since last year’s earthquake, is a simple tensile structure made of plastic and defecated and urinated next to the altar. This was a contemptuous act of vandalism and sacrilege. The culprits were identified, because a woman saw them coming out of the tent. They were four boys of Moroccan origin, one resident in Serravalle, the others from Ostiglia and surroundings.

In a bag in a drawer there were about eighty euro, the takings of the third week of Grest, plus a portion of the proceeds of a summer risotto organized by the group of children and parents. Having carried out the theft, the group was still not satisfied to leave. They wanted to leave their mark. A mark of vandalism, that because the place where it was made, also takes on the meaning of a provocation, a disgraceful affront.

Without difficulty, the criminals cut the plastic edge of the tent used as a church and, once inside, they left droppings near the altar. In the tent there is absolutely nothing to steal, then having terminated their organic needs, the thieves-vandals are gone. Apparently, a local woman saw them run away and recognized one, the one who lives in Libiola. The police identified the other three accomplices after receiving the complaint of the pastor. Switzerland: Government Report Claims That Muslim Immigrants Are ‘Well Integrated’ Into Society, Reality Says Otherwise

I guess that Islamist groups seeking to overthrow the Democratic order in Europe and “confront this cancer of man-made laws” aren’t really interested in Switzerland. That Swiss authorities made up the claim that jihadists were using Switzerland as a base to promote Islamic extremism across Europe and beyond. That perpetually offended Muslims seeking the removal of the cross from Switzerland’s flag and Swiss company logos were only kidding, and actually want to see the full expression of free speech in Swiss society. And the real problem, according to the report? Why, it’s with people like you and I who expose acts of barbarism, not with those who actually commit them. By Soeren Kern, Gatestone Institute – “A controversial new report by the Swiss government claims that Muslim immigrants are so well integrated into Swiss society that no further federal policies or programs are needed to promote Muslim integration or to counter Islamic extremism.

Published by the Swiss Federal Council [Bundesrat] on May 8, the 102-page study — known by the short title, ‘The Situation of Muslims in Switzerland‘ — so completely downplays the countless problems associated with Muslim immigration in Switzerland that the report has been ridiculed as being worthy of a ‘case study in political correctness.’

The report was first commissioned by proponents of multiculturalism within the Swiss Cabinet shortly after Swiss voters overwhelmingly approved a referendum in November 2009 to ban the construction of minarets, the tower-like structures on mosques that are often used to call Muslims to prayer.

The surprise outcome of the referendum, which passed with a clear majority of 57.5% of the voters, represented a turning point in the debate about Muslim immigration in Switzerland.

Among other matters, the referendum exposed the growing gap between Swiss multiculturalists and ordinary Swiss voters on the issue of Muslim immigration. The Swiss Federal Council had campaigned hard against the ban, arguing it would ‘endanger peace between religions’ and ‘hinder integration.’ After the ban was approved, the government launched a multi-pronged effort to ‘educate’ the Swiss populace through taxpayer-funded pro-Islam research.

The latest report estimates the Muslim population of Switzerland to be between 350,000 and 400,000, or around 5% of the total population of 8 million. The vast majority of Muslims in the country originate from the Balkans, Turkey and North Africa, and roughly one-third are Swiss citizens. Many of them are second- and third-generation immigrants firmly establishing themselves in Switzerland.

The report says that most Muslims in Switzerland are not religious; only 12% to 15% of Muslims in the country regularly attend a mosque. According to the study, Islam in Switzerland is neither homogenous nor monolithic; it is organized around multiple ethno-linguistic identities that rarely interact with each other.

The greatest barriers to Muslim integration are due to language, not religion, says the study, and serious problems related to Islam occur ‘only in exceptional cases.’ The study notes that the vast majority of Muslims are fully integrated into Swiss society, that Islam presents no particular problems for daily life in Switzerland, and that Islam rarely leads to social conflict. As a result, the study says, the government has decided that no further measures are necessary to promote Muslim integration.

At the same time, however, the report says that Muslims in Switzerland often feel discriminated against, and that the government needs to do more to educate Swiss citizens about ‘Islamophobia.’ Muslim ‘victims’ also need to be better informed of their legal rights under existing anti-discrimination laws.

The investigation into the grisly murder began Thursday following reports of suspicious activity at the Buena Vista home. Police reported in New Jersey that Yusuf Ibrahim beheaded and be-handed two Coptic Christians after shooting them.  He buried them in two separate graves in Buena Vista, New Jersey.

‘It’s a shock, something like this doesn’t happen,’ one resident said.

Pamela Geller, who blogs about Islam at Atlas Shrugs, said, ‘It appears to have been a ritual killing, religious in nature.  The victims were Coptic Christians and the murderer was Muslim, and we are painfully aware of the status and treatment of Christians under Muslim rule in Egypt.’

The killings stem from Islamic law within the Quran: ‘When Allah was revealing to the angels, ‘I am with you; so confirm the believers. I shall cast into the unbelievers’ hearts terror; so cut above the necks, and cut every finger of them!’ – Quran 8:12.’

Sudanese and Somali-born Victorians are about five times more likely to commit crimes than the wider community, a trend that must be addressed to prevent Cronulla-style social unrest, police warn. The most common crimes committed by Somali and Sudanese-born Victorians are assault and robbery illustrating the trend towards increasingly violent robberies by disaffected African youths.

Are they mugging Australians because they are ‘disaffected’ or because they make money that way?

‘Property is one of the issues, so they’re stealing iPhones or money or things of value,’ Mr Cartwright said.

Apparently their disaffection takes the specific form of stealing iPhones. How oddly specific.

‘We’ve got to fix this now and make sure it doesn’t continue, so the kids who are now 10 years old aren’t in this offender bracket in five years’ time. So we don’t get the Cronullas happening,’ Victoria Police Deputy Commissioner Tim Cartwright said.

There is a slightly simpler fix, stop admitting Sudanese and Somali Muslims into Australia and let their crime statistics be a problem for back home. And while we’re at it, why not retune the immigration system so that it admits those categories of immigrants from groups with the lowest violent crime rates?

The police statistics show the rate of offending among the Sudanese community is 7109.1 per 100,000, while for Somali people it is 6141.8 per 100,000. The figure for the wider community is 1301.0 per 100,000.

That’s a 5-10 percent rate of crime in those communities alone. Why would you go on admitting people who are 5-10 percent likely to mug you as soon as they get off the plane? Would you allow someone who is 5-10 percent statistically likely to assault you into your house, and if you wouldn’t, then why would you let him into your country? By Pete Williams, Tom Winter, Tracy Connor and Ken Dilanian, NBC News – “An Ohio State University student plowed a car into a campus crowd, then jumped out and started stabbing people with a butcher knife before being shot dead by police Monday morning, officials said.

Nine people were taken to hospitals after the ambush, and one was in critical condition. The incident was initially reported as an ‘active shooter’ situation, but the suspect did not shoot anyone.

A police officer was on the scene within a minute and killed the assailant. ‘He engaged the suspect and eliminated the threat,’ OSU Police Chief Craig Stone said.

Law enforcement officials told NBC News the suspect’s name is Abdul Artan, an 18-year-old student at the university. He was a Somali refugee who left his homeland with his family in 2007, lived in Pakistan and then came to the United States in 2014 as a legal permanent resident of the United States, officials said.

The motive was unknown, but officials said the attack was clearly deliberate and may have been planned in advance.
