By Mangala Dilip, International Business Times – “Veteran actor and comedian Robin Williams, 63, was found dead in his California home by the Marin County Police, shortly after they responded to an emergency call around noon, local time, CNN reported.

He is said to have taken his own life and according to his media representative Mara Buxbaum, is said to have ‘been battling severe depression of late’.

David Itzkoff of the New York Times released a statement from Williams’ wife Susan Schneider on Tuesday morning.

While the world mourned his loss by sharing and retweeting his best performances, there were a few who actively celebrated the untimely death.

‘#RobinWilliams hanged himself? SubhanAllah what blessing Islam is. Verily, Allah guards us from depression. Hell, what an evil destination.’ Posted Abdullah, aka Mujahid4life.

In reply to Adbullah’s next tweet wishing Williams would burn in hell, Yusuf Nidal Rahman posted, ‘@mujahid4life how can any kafir rest it peace, hope this one burns in the hottest lake of fire.’

‘@Alansarialjanab he committed suicide, cross dressed for a living and defames our religion may Allah give him what he deserves in the akhira’ posted Abu Hamzah AlNabilsi.

Since his death, a video of Williams performing the routine has garnered much attention, with fans and haters retweeting and sharing it much fervour. This incessant circulation of the video has led more and more Jihadis to write vindictive comments against Williams.

‘And now your dead with all the fame and riches… Suicide. Let see what you find with your lord. In islam the person who commits suicide will have that scenario looped until the day of judgement and he is for hell,’ Mohammed Al Farsi commented on the video.” Read more.

    Unfortunately, like so many other comedic routines of today, Williams was not above using some “language” in his gigs, but here’s something I did not know:

    This article says near nothing about Islam!! To your surprise many Muslims empathize with his family and are saddened by his death. Islam is about compassion, justice, and above all appreciating the beauty and cherishing life GOD created. To all haters out there, like it or not this is the truth.

    Compassion was evidently abrogated:

    Qur’an Sura 48:29a, “Mohammed is [Allah’s] apostle. Those who follow him are ruthless to the unbelievers …”

    Qur’an Sura 9:123, “O you who believe! fight those of the unbelievers [non-Muslims] who are near to you and let them find in you hardness …”

    Islam has a very distorted definition of “justice”:

    Qur’an Sura 5:33, “The punishment of those who wage war against Allah and His messenger and strive to make mischief in the land is only this, that they should be murdered or crucified or their hands and their feet should be cut off on opposite sides or they should be imprisoned; this shall be as a disgrace for them in this world, and in the hereafter they shall have a grievous chastisement …”

    Can you show me one verse of the Qur’an that values and cherishes the life of non-Muslims?

    Here is the real truth. According to the teachings of Mohammed, any Muslim who takes Islam seriously is a Muslim who must pursue, fight against, strive against, be ruthless against, siege, slay, strike fear into the hearts of, and terrorize non-Muslims in order to be victorious over them by either forcing them to convert to Islam or, if they refuse, by destroying them. If Islam were truly all about compassion and justice and appreciating the beauty of life that God created, then why did Mohammed say that “the vilest of animals in Allah’s sight” were non-Muslims (Sura 8:55)? Why did Mohammad say that it was his duty to fight against non-Muslims until they all testify the Shahada of Islam (Hadith, Sahih Muslim 1:33)? Why did Mohammed himself say that he was made “victorious with terror” (Hadith, Bukhari 2977) and what was the purpose of his terrorism? Why did Mohammed call for offensive wars to fight against, brutalize and kill non-Muslims?

    Qur’an Sura 4:76,“Those who believe fight in the cause of Allah …”

    Qur’an Sura 3:151, “Soon shall We cast terror into the hearts of the Unbelievers [non-Muslims] …”

    Qur’an Sura 8:12, “I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve [non-Muslims]. Therefore strike off their heads …”

    Qur’an Sura 8:39, “And fight with them until there is no more persecution and religion should be only for Allah …”

    I could share literally dozens of similar verses from the Qur’an and Hadith, but I’ll end with this one verse that Mohammed — the self-proclaimed “prophet” who claimed to be victorious with terror — recited:

    Qur’an Sura 33:21, “Indeed in Allah’s Messenger (Mohammad) you have an excellent example to follow for him who hopes in (meeting with) Allah and the Last Day …”

    Even though there are many Muslims who are peaceful, they are not peaceful because of Islam. They are peaceful in spite of it. Like the actions of Mohammed’s followers throughout history and today, the words of the Qur’an and Hadith speak loud and clear, and Islam is not all about compassion and cherishing life. Islam is all about compulsion and destroying life for the sake of Allah, as Mohammed’s “excellent example” most excellently demonstrated.
