“Hand Of God”: Gaza Terrorist Firing Rockets At Israel Laments How “Their God Changes Their Path In Mid-Air”

While “Allah” continues to be missing in action, the God of Israel who remains the same yesterday, today and forever continues to work in mysterious ways …

Deuteronomy 20:3b-4, “…. Do not let your heart faint, do not be afraid, and do not tremble or be terrified because of them; ‘for the LORD your God is He who goes with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to save you.’”

Ezekiel 38:23, “Thus I will magnify Myself and sanctify Myself, and I will be known in the eyes of many nations. Then they shall know that I am the LORD.”

By Joe Kovacs, WND – “More claims of divine intervention are being reported in the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas, with an operator of Israel’s Iron Dome missile-defense system saying he personally witnessed ‘the hand of God’ diverting an incoming rocket out of harm’s way.

Israel Today translated a report from a Hebrew-language news site, which noted the Iron Dome battery failed three times to intercept an incoming rocket headed toward Tel Aviv last week.

The commander recalled: ‘A missile was fired from Gaza. Iron Dome precisely calculated [its trajectory]. We know where these missiles are going to land down to a radius of 200 meters. This particular missile was going to hit either the Azrieli Towers, the Kirya (Israel’s equivalent of the Pentagon) or [a central Tel Aviv railway station]. Hundreds could have died.

‘We fired the first [interceptor]. It missed. Second [interceptor]. It missed. This is very rare. I was in shock. At this point we had just four seconds until the missile lands. We had already notified emergency services to converge on the target location and had warned of a mass-casualty incident.

‘Suddenly, Iron Dome (which calculates wind speeds, among other things) shows a major wind coming from the east, a strong wind that … sends the missile into the sea. We were all stunned. I stood up and shouted, ‘There is a God!’

‘I witnessed this miracle with my own eyes. It was not told or reported to me. I saw the hand of God send that missile into the sea.’

‘Their God changes the path of our rockets in mid-air, said a terrorist,’ was the headline in the July 18 edition of the Jewish Telegraph.

It was a partial quote from Barbara Ordman, who lives in Ma’ale Adumim on the West Bank.

Her exact quotation was: ‘As one of the terrorists from Gaza was reported to say when asked why they couldn’t aim their rockets more effectively: “We do aim them, but their God changes their path in mid-air.’

She opened her piece by noting: ‘In October 1956, [Israeli Prime Minister] David Ben Gurion was interviewed by CBS. He stated: ‘In Israel, in order to be a realist, you must believe in miracles.’'” Read more.

Amos 9:14-15, “… I will bring my people Israel back from exile. ‘They will rebuild the ruined cities and live in them. They will plant vineyards and drink their wine; they will make gardens and eat their fruit. I will plant Israel in their own land, never again to be uprooted from the land I have given them,’ says the LORD your God.”

Flashback: ‘A Cloud Protected Us’: Senior Infantry Officer Describes Divine Protection In Gaza ‘The Likes Of Which He Had Never Seen Before’ – “An Orthodox infantry brigade says that divine miracles protected his soldiers during the fighting in the Gaza Strip… [Givati Brigade commander Col. Ofer Winter] claimed to have witnessed a miraculous occurrence, the likes of which he had never seen before during his military career. He said that a predawn raid that was intended to make use of the dark as concealment was delayed, forcing the soldiers to move toward their objective as the sun was about to rise. The soldiers were in danger of being revealed in the light but, Winter recalled, a heavy fog descended to cover their movements until the objective was achieved. ‘Suddenly a cloud protected us,’ he said …” Read more.

How sad that your very name, Nooh, is a Biblical reminder of God’s judgment and miraculous intervention–but you reject his miracle-working power because you HATE God’s chosen race descending through Isaac–not Ishmael!!!! Time to wake up and smell the decaying carcasses which your deluded (if not completely demon-possessed) FALSE ‘prophet’ has slaughtered. How sad, that you Middle Easterners could all live in peace and harmony, if you would just acknowledge the Holy One of Israel–HIS NAME IS JESUS!!!! And he’s not just for Jews and Christians–HE’S FOR THE WHOLE WORLD, because He created it, and everybody in it!!!!!

    Nooh, “That’s rubbish”

Muslim clerics around the world pray, “Oh Allah, destroy the Zionist Jews. They are no challenge for you.” Yet the armies of “Allah” surrounding Israel couldn’t destroy the tiny, new Jewish State in 1948. They failed miserably in 1967. They lost decisively yet again in 1973. The Palestinian’s First Intifada between 1987 and 1993 failed. The Second Intifada of 2000 to 2005 failed. Every battle in between and ever since have all ended in failure, for Israel remains the strongest military force and beacon of freedom in the Middle East today. Unfortunately for the Islamic world, “Allah” is evidently no match for the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

The God of Israel promised through the Prophet Amos that after Israel was restored as a nation she would never be uprooted again. He intends to keep that promise. Unfortunately for the surrounding nations, God also promised through the Prophets Joel, Zechariah and Ezekiel that He would personally issue a punishing judgment against them when they gather themselves to come against Israel:

Joel 3:11-12, “Hasten and come, all you SURROUNDING NATIONS, And gather yourselves there. Bring down, O LORD, Your mighty ones. Let the nations be aroused And come up to the valley of Jehoshaphat, For there I WILL SIT TO JUDGE ALL THE SURROUNDING NATIONS.”

Zechariah 12:2-3, “Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto ALL THE PEOPLE ROUND ABOUT, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem. And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.”

Ezekiel 28:24-26, “‘No longer will the people of Israel have malicious NEIGHBORS who are painful briers and sharp thorns. Then they will know that I am the Sovereign LORD. This is what the Sovereign LORD says: When I gather the people of Israel from the nations where they have been scattered, I will show myself holy among them in the sight of the nations. Then they will live in their own land, which I gave to my servant Jacob. They will live there in safety and will build houses and plant vineyards; they will live in safety when I INFLICT PUNISHMENT ON ALL THEIR NEIGHBORS WHO MALIGNED AGAINST THEM. Then they will know that I am the LORD their God.”

By the way, the neighboring peoples/nations surrounding Israel today are ALL Muslim. What does that tell you?

ICA, “The God of Israel promised through the Prophet Amos that after Israel was restored as a nation she would never be uprooted again.”

Can you comment on Zech 14:1-2which indicates Jerusalem being taken captive, at least for a short duration, and the whole notion of Jacob’s Trouble, popularly seen as a period of perhaps 3.5 years where the Jewish nation is again taken captive prior to the return of Jesus.

There is no God but the God of Israel

1Ki 18:22 Then Elijah said to them, “I am the only one of the LORD’S prophets left, but Baal has four hundred and fifty prophets.
1Ki 18:23 Get two bulls for us. Let them choose one for themselves, and let them cut it into pieces and put it on the wood but not set fire to it. I will prepare the other bull and put it on the wood but not set fire to it.
1Ki 18:24 Then you call on the name of your god, and I will call on the name of the LORD. The god who answers by fire he is God.” Then all the people said, “What you say is good.”
1Ki 18:25 Elijah said to the prophets of Baal, “Choose one of the bulls and prepare it first, since there are so many of you. Call on the name of your god, but do not light the fire.”

1Ki 18:26 So they took the bull given them and prepared it. Then they called on the name of Baal from morning till noon. “O Baal, answer us!” they shouted. But there was no response; no one answered. And they danced around the altar they had made.
1Ki 18:27 At noon Elijah began to taunt them. “Shout louder!” he said. “Surely he is a god! Perhaps he is deep in thought, or busy, or traveling. Maybe he is sleeping and must be awakened.”
1Ki 18:28 So they shouted louder and slashed themselves with swords and spears, as was their custom, until their blood flowed.

1Ki 18:29 Midday passed, and they continued their frantic prophesying until the time for the evening sacrifice. b But there was no response, no one answered, no one paid attention.
1Ki 18:30 Then Elijah said to all the people, “Come here to me.” They came to him, and he repaired the altar d of the LORD, which was in ruins.
1Ki 18:31 Elijah took twelve stones, one for each of the tribes descended from Jacob, to whom the word of the LORD had come, saying, “Your name shall be Israel.”
1Ki 18:32 With the stones he built an altar in the name of the LORD, and he dug a trench around it large enough to hold two seahs of seed.

1Ki 18:33 He arranged the wood, cut the bull into pieces and laid it on the wood. Then he said to them, “Fill four large jars with water and pour it on the offering and on the wood.”
1Ki 18:34 “Do it again,” he said, and they did it again. “Do it a third time,” he ordered, and they did it the third time.
1Ki 18:35 The water ran down around the altar and even filled the trench.
1Ki 18:36 At the time h of sacrifice, the prophet Elijah stepped forward and prayed: “O LORD, God of Abraham, i Isaac and Israel, let it be known today that you are God in Israel and that I am your servant and have done all these things at your command.
1Ki 18:37 Answer me, O LORD, answer me, so these people will know l that you, O LORD, are God, and that you are turning their hearts back again.”

1Ki 18:38 Then the fire m of the LORD fell and burned up the sacrifice, the wood, the stones and the soil, and also licked up the water in the trench.
1Ki 18:39 When all the people saw this, they fell prostrate and cried, “The LORD—he is God! The LORD—he is God!”
1Ki 18:40 Then Elijah commanded them, “Seize the prophets of Baal. Don’t let anyone get away!” They seized them, and Elijah had them brought down to the Kishon Valley and slaughtered there

Kurt J, “Can you comment on Zech 14:1-2which indicates Jerusalem being taken captive, at least for a short duration, and the whole notion of Jacob’s Trouble, popularly seen as a period of perhaps 3.5 years where the Jewish nation is again taken captive prior to the return of Jesus.”

In my opinion, from Zechariah’s perspective he was likely prophesying about what is now dubbed the “Old City of Jerusalem” — the City of David, built about 1000 years before Christ. It was the entire city of Jerusalem up until about 1860 and is where the Temple was built and where Jesus was crucified. The Western Wall is there, as is the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, the Dome of the Rock and al Aqsa Mosque. It is the spiritual homestead of Jews and Christians.

Al Rod Al Anf, Volume 2, Page 182: “You see [our god Allah] will soon make you inherit their land, their treasures and make you sleep with their women.” – The “prophet” Mohammed

Jews, Christians and Muslims all now reside within the Old City, but Muslims today — increasingly “radicalized” and lawless and filled with fomenting hatred against Jews and even Christians — make up the overwhelming number of residents. I expect that one day we will witness an “intifada” unlike any other before it whereby a triggering event of some sort spurs the Islamic population to immediately rise up (possibly joined by others from the West Bank), takes over much of the Old City and, as is par for the course during jihad, plunders the homes of all Jews and Christians while raping the women as the “spoils of war.” Meanwhile, surrounding Islamic armies/jihadists will gather together for the “imminent” destruction of Israel. Whether or not one will be the catalyst for the other like a hook in the jaw, or if a separate triggering event will be the catalyst for them both, I do not know. But as for the Old City of Jerusalem being taken, the troops are already in place.

“The mosques are our barracks, the domes our helmets, the minarets our bayonets and the faithful our soldiers …” – Islamic Poem

I see that what manifests physically will also be manifest spiritually as well. The holy city being trampled will not just be the Old City of Jerusalem. It will also be the New City — His Ekklesia. We are grafted in to the commonwealth of Israel and have become a part of Jacob. Although I see the culmination of Jacob’s Trouble taking place during the final 3.5 years that lead up to Christ’s return, the enemy’s preparatory stages leading up to it have been extant throughout much of Islam’s sordid history, particularly since the relatively recent creation of the state of Israel in 1948 as Jews began returning to the land. Jacob’s Trouble itself, however, will culminate during the time we know as Great Tribulation. “But he shall be saved out of it” (Jeremiah 30:7).

Romans 11:26, “And so all Israel will be saved, as it is written: ‘The Deliverer will come out of Zion, And He will turn away ungodliness from Jacob”

Assuming you are correct, and I currently don’t have any objection to your view, I think we ought to be ready EVERY year for the return of Christ… the ekklesia has been under severe attack all throughout the lands where the Beast reigns since early 2011 with the inception of the “Arab Spring”. Maybe we are well into the 3.5 years.

How long would the scenario you lay out take to develop? It could happen in a matter of weeks or a few months. Already ISIS is advancing into Lebanon.

We may be very close. God grant us the love and courage to stand for Jesus until the end.

Yes, we should in fact be ready every day, whether it’s His time to come to us or it’s our time to go to Him. As for how long the scenario above would take to develop, well, it’s been developing for nearly 1,400 years. But in terms of Zechariah 14:1-2 being fulfilled specifically, I surmise that there would be a build up towards its fulfillment during the 3.5 years of Great Tribulation. It would manifest swiftly, perhaps weeks as you’ve said, towards the very end. When the storm clouds off in the distance produce torrential rain and all the runoff eventually joins downstream, the food then quickly comes. Satan has tried this before, and he will try again — and would probably succeed, if not for Divine intervention.

Yes, ready every day, we never know when we’ll be called home.

So just to be clear: you do not see, scripturally, Israel being again overrun, evicted, defeated, taken captive, etc., before the Lord’s return?

What is your view of Dan 11:36, 45 “The king will do as he pleases… he will pitch the tents of his royal pavilion between the seas and the beautiful Holy Mountain” ? Could this have been fulfilled by “Herod the king” (Mt 2:1,3), or is this “Antichrist”? And if its AC, doesn’t it imply we have Islam/the Mahdi parked somewhere between Jerusalem and Mediterranean sea?

Kurt J., “So just to be clear: you do not see, scripturally, Israel being again overrun, evicted, defeated, taken captive, etc., before the Lord’s return?”

Not entirely, no. I could be wrong, but I hope not.

Kurt J., “What is your view of Dan 11:36, 45 ‘The king will do as he pleases… he will pitch the tents of his royal pavilion between the seas and the beautiful Holy Mountain’ ? Could this have been fulfilled by ‘Herod the king’ (Mt 2:1,3), or is this ‘Antichrist’?”

I’ve always viewed this as referring to Antichrist myself. Could “between the seas and the beautiful Holy Mountain” be referring to, say, the West Bank? For all intents and purposes, it could be argued that the “people of the prince to come” have already begun entering into the glorious land per Daniel 11:41 and will “destroy the city and the sanctuary” as they did in 70 AD. All that is needed is the right triggering even for this powder keg to explode, so I’m keeping my eyes open on all developments. Whatever happens, however, we know that per Ezekiel 39:4 the Antichrist will “fall on the mountains of Israel, you and all your hordes and the peoples who are with you”. Geographically speaking, I don’t see why this couldn’t be referring to the West Bank and portions of northeast Israel extending down from the Golan Heights from which invading armies could advance towards the Valley of Jehoshaphat per Joel 3:2 and 3:12 in an effort to reach Jerusalem. Doesn’t look like they’ll make it per Ezekiel 39:4 since Christ Himself will intervene (Ezekiel 39:6-7, 21-22).
