Missouri Doctor: “It’s Just A Matter Of Time Before [Ebola] Is Carried To Every Corner Of The World”

10/03/2014 1 comment

I think it’s safe to say that as the number of cases rise in the coming weeks and months, so too will the degree of panic. In the midst of any storm, have faith and know that God remains in control even when the world spirals out of it …

Proverbs 16:4, “The LORD works out everything to its proper end— even the wicked for a day of disaster.”

By Dom Giordano, CBS Philly – “Dom Giordano talked with Dr. Gil Mobley, who believes the CDC is lying about the threat posed by Ebola and staged a protest at Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson Airport to expose it.

Mobley, a doctor in Missouri, is convinced that Ebola will soon be infecting people all over the globe.

‘For months, doctors in my community — since we had a meeting six weeks ago — have been convinced that the United States will be importing clusters regularly. Right now, on the continent of West Africa, there are a million people in isolation, in quarantine, because of Ebola, and ten thousand passengers leave West Africa every single day. It’s just a matter of time before this disease is carried to every corner of the world.’

He insists the CDC is underplaying the threat posed by the disease and is intentionally misleading the public.

‘They said the chance of importing a cluster — just two weeks ago — was extremely small, yet we knew that it was a sure thing. And the very same day that the President echoed [Director Tom] Frieden’s sentiment at the CDC that it’s very small, that very same day, they made the misdiagnoses in Dallas and sent this infectious guy home to infect these other people.'” Read more.

Doomsday Warning: UN Ebola Chief Raises ‘Nightmare’ Prospect That Virus Could Mutate And Become Airborne And Much More Infectious – “The longer the Ebola epidemic continues infecting people unabated, the higher the chances it will mutate and become airborne, the UN’s Ebola response chief has warned. Anthony Banbury, the Secretary General’s Special Representative, has said there is a ‘nightmare’ prospect the deadly disease will become airborne if it continues infecting new hosts. His comments come as organisations battling the crisis in West Africa warned the international community has just four weeks to stop its spread before it spirals ‘completely out of control’. And the British nurse who survived the disease said the ‘horror and misery’ of watching young children die from the disease must be avoided ‘at all costs’.” Read more.

European Security Officials: Ebola Pandemic Should Be Treated ‘The Same Way’ As Threat Posed By Nuclear Weapons – “The Ebola virus spreading exponentially across Africa and killing thousands of people ‘will get worse’, the Government has admitted, amid calls for the full involvement of the international military to contain the disease. Justine Greening, the International Development Secretary, said that ministers had been shocked by a prediction from the US public health institute that 1.4 million people may be infected by the virus by January if it continues unchecked. As ministers, diplomats and humanitarian organisations from 20 different countries pledged a further £79 million to control the outbreak, which has already killed more than 3,000 people, a group of 35 European security officials issued a joint declaration suggesting that Ebola should be treated in the same way as the threat posed by nuclear weapons.” Read more.

Luke 21:11, “There will be great earthquakes, famines and pestilences in various places …”

Update: Ebola tests negative for Washington, Toronto and Salt Lake City patients …

NBC Washington – “A patient with Ebola-like symptoms is being treated at Howard University Hospital in Washington, D.C., a hospital spokesperson confirmed late Friday morning.

The patient had traveled to Nigeria recently.

That person has been admitted to the hospital in stable condition, and is being isolated and tested. The medical team is working with the CDC to determine whether the patient has Ebola.

‘In an abundance of caution, we have activated the appropriate infection control protocols, including isolating the patient,’ said hospital spokesperson Kerry-Ann Hamilton in a statement. ‘Our medical team continues to evaluate and monitor progress in close collaboration with the CDC and the Department of Health.’

Hamilton did not share further details about the patient, citing privacy reasons, but said the hospital will provide updates as warranted.” Read more.

Officials Investigate Possible Ebola Cases In Hawaii And Utah – “Health officials in at least two states worked Thursday to determine whether patients other than a man being treated in Texas are infected with the Ebola virus. Primary Children’s Hospital in Salt Lake City forwarded specimens from a male patient to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention for additional tests, CBS affiliate KUTV reported. The unidentified patient recently traveled to an African country where Ebola has not yet been reported, but showed symptoms similar to the virus.” Read more.

Toronto Hospital Testing Patient For Possible Case of Ebola – “A patient at a Toronto hospital is being tested for Ebola as well as other possible illnesses. Toronto’s University Health Network (UHN) confirmed a patient who had recently traveled to West Africa was admitted to one of its four hospitals with a fever, but wouldn’t say which hospital or what West African country. The watch list for countries experiencing an Ebola outbreak are Sierra Leone, Liberia, Guinea and Nigeria. Health network spokesperson Gillian Howard said the person is in isolation and staff are using protective equipment until the test results are in – likely within the next 24 hours.” Read more.

Report: Inmate At Cobb County Jail In Georgia Being Tested For Ebola – “An inmate at the Cobb County Jail is reportedly being test for Ebola. WSB-TV reports that the man told jail officials he recently traveled to Africa after developing a fever while in custody. He was arrested overnight and charged with DUI. WSB reports that the jail is no longer accepting inmates at this time. The first Ebola diagnosis in the nation has raised concerns about whether the disease that has killed 3,300 people in West Africa could spread in the U.S. Federal health officials say they are confident they can keep it in check. Texas health officials expanded their efforts to contain the virus, reaching out to as many as 100 people who may have had direct contact with Thomas Eric Duncan or someone close to him.” Read more.

Report: Second Person May Have Contracted Ebola In Dallas As Red Flags Emerge That US Is Unprepared For Pandemic

10/01/2014 3 comments

Psalm 91:2-3, “I will say of the LORD, ‘He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in Him I will trust.’ Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the perilous pestilence …”

By Marjorie Owens, USA Today – “Health officials are closely monitoring a possible second Ebola patient who had close contact with the first person to be diagnosed in the U.S., the director of Dallas County’s health department said Wednesday.

All who have been in close contact with the man diagnosed are being monitored as a precaution, Zachary Thompson, director of Dallas County Health and Human Services, said in a morning interview with WFAA-TV.

‘Let me be real frank to the Dallas County residents: The fact that we have one confirmed case, there may be another case that is a close associate with this particular patient,’ he said. ‘So this is real. There should be a concern, but it’s contained to the specific family members and close friends at this moment.’

The director continued to assure residents that the public isn’t at risk because health officials have the virus contained.

On Tuesday, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention confirmed a patient at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas was the first person to be diagnosed in the United States with the Ebola virus.

The patient left Liberia on Sept. 19 and arrived in Dallas the following day. On Sept. 26, he sought treatment at the hospital after becoming ill but was sent home with a prescription for antibiotics. Two days later, he was admitted with more critical symptoms, after requiring an ambulance ride to the hospital.

The patient, whose condition was upgraded to serious Wednesday, was in contact with several children before he was hospitalized, health officials here said.” Read more.

After First Ebola Case, Red Flags Emerge That U.S. Unprepared For Pandemic – “The confirmation Tuesday of the first Ebola case on U.S. soil emerges against a backdrop of increasing concern in America’s medical community that preparedness for a pandemic has stagnated or slipped in recent years because of tough economic times and increasing malaise since the 2001 anthrax threat. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, America’s premier disease fighter, offered an air of confidence Tuesday in declaring that the first Ebola patient in Dallas was carefully contained.” Read more.

CONFIRMED: Patient Tests Positive For Ebola In Dallas, TX

09/30/2014 Leave a comment

And it was not a medical professional surrounded by infected patients who contracted the disease. It was simply someone who recently visited a West African country. I suspect the CDC will now be contacting everyone he may have been in contact with since his visit overseas, including all fellow travelers …

Luke 21:10-11, “Then He said to them, ‘Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be great earthquakes in various places, and famines and pestilences; and there will be fearful sights and great signs from heaven…’”

By Sherry Jacobson, Dallas News – “The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention notified the media at 3:32 p.m. Tuesday that Dallas has the first diagnosed Ebola case in the nation.

The federal agency scheduled a media briefing at 5:30 p.m. from its headquarters in Atlanta. Dallas County officials are expected to participate.

Dallas County went through a day-long anxiety attack Tuesday, waiting to hear if the first Ebola diagnosis in the nation would happen here.

An unnamed patient at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas was placed in isolation while awaiting test results for the dreaded virus. Apparently, the patient had traveled recently to a West African country, where the disease is spreading, and later developed symptoms that suggested Ebola.

A blood specimen from the patient was sent to Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta, a testing process that can take 24 to 48 hours to confirm an Ebola infection — or not.

The results came back about 3:32 p.m.

Ebola was first discovered in 1976 near the Ebola River in what is now the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Since then, outbreaks of Ebola among humans have appeared sporadically in Africa.” Read more.

Computer Models Predict Ebola Pandemic Could Kill Millions ‘In the Next 6 Months’ – “At first, many assumed that this Ebola outbreak would be just like all the others – that it would flare up for a little while and then it would completely fade away. But that has not happened this time. Instead, this epidemic has seemed to pick up momentum with each passing week. Despite extraordinary precautions, hundreds of health workers have gotten the virus, and the head of the CDC says that the spread of Ebola is ‘spiraling out of control’ and that it is ‘going to get worse in the very near future.’ For those that have thought that all of this talk about Ebola was just ‘fearmongering’, it is time for you to wake up.” Read more.

Uncharted Waters: Worsening Ebola Epidemic Has Potential To Alter History, Virologists Fear It Could Mutate And Become Airborne – “THE Ebola epidemic in West Africa has the potential to alter history as much as any plague has ever done. There have been more than 4,300 cases and 2,300 deaths over the past six months. Last week, the World Health Organization warned that, by early October, there may be thousands of new cases per week in Liberia, Sierra Leone, Guinea and Nigeria. What is not getting said publicly, despite briefings and discussions in the inner circles of the world’s public health agencies, is that we are in totally uncharted waters and that Mother Nature is the only force in charge of the crisis at this time. There are two possible future chapters to this story that should keep us up at night. The first possibility is that …” Read more.

“Humanitarian Catastrophe”: US State Dep’t Orders 160,000 Hazmat Suits As CDC Warns “Now Is Time To Prepare For Ebola”

09/16/2014 Leave a comment

Contagion” and “Outbreak” were horror movies. This is not …

Luke 21:10-11, “Then He said to them, ‘Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be great earthquakes in various places, and famines and pestilences; and there will be fearful sights and great signs from heaven…’”

By Paul Joseph Watson, InfoWars – “The U.S. State Department has ordered 160,000 Hazmat suits for Ebola, prompting concerns that the federal government is anticipating the rapid spread of a virus that has already claimed an unprecedented number of lives.

In a press release posted by Market Watch, Lakeland Industries, a manufacturer of industrial protective clothing for first responders, announced that it had signaled its intention ‘to join the fight against the spread of Ebola’ by encouraging other suppliers to meet the huge demand created by the U.S. State Department’s order of 160,000 hazmat suits.

‘With the U.S. State Department alone putting out a bid for 160,000 suits, we encourage all protective apparel companies to increase their manufacturing capacity for sealed seam garments so that our industry can do its part in addressing this threat to global health,’ states the press release.

The huge bulk order of hazmat suits for Ebola has stoked concerns that the U.S. government expects the virus to continue to ravage countries in west Africa and may also be concerned about an outbreak inside the United States.

Although the State Department has announced that it is planning a ‘surge’ of emergency medical personnel into western Africa, only 1400 federal workers are currently in the region, suggesting that the 160,000 figure is far higher than what would be required merely for sending medical workers abroad.

In a related story, sources from within the Department of Defense have questioned why the Obama administration is implementing a military response to the Ebola epidemic when USAID and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention are already involved in relief efforts.” Read more.

U.N. Sees Need For $1 Billion To Fight Ebola Outbreak – “The Ebola virus outbreak in West Africa risks ballooning into a humanitarian catastrophe without a major surge in international efforts to contain it, senior United Nations officials said Tuesday, estimating the cost of this effort at $1 billion. The number of people affected by the disease is still rising at an ‘almost exponential’ rate, Bruce Aylward, an assistant director general of the World Health Organization, said at a news conference in Geneva. He said the number of reported cases had climbed to 4,985, including 2,461 deaths. Half of the infections and deaths occurred in the past 21 days, he said, underscoring the acceleration of the outbreak. ‘We don’t really know where the numbers are going with this,’ Mr. Aylward said.” Read more.

CDC Issues Ebola Checklist: ‘Now Is The Time To Prepare’ – “The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, warning hospitals and doctors that ‘now is the time to prepare,’ has issued a six-page Ebola ‘checklist’ to help healthcare workers quickly determine if patients are infected. While the CDC does not believe that there are new cases of Ebola in the United States, the assumption in the checklist is that it is only a matter of time before the virus hits home. For example, one part reads: ‘Encourage healthcare personnel to use a ‘buddy system’ when caring for patients.’ Another recommends a process to report cases to top officials… The checklist has been distributed to major hospitals and even little ones, including an urgent center in Leesburg, Va. ‘Every hospital should ensure that it can detect a patient with Ebola, protect healthcare workers so they can safely care for the patient, and respond in a coordinated fashion,’ warns the CDC.” Read more.

5,000 Body Bags Ordered For Liberia Alone – “The U.S. Agency for International Development ordered 5,000 body bags from a Florida company last month as part of its planned response to an outbreak of the Ebola virus in western Africa… The body-bag purchase came on August 19, just after the World Health Organization said the epidemic had killed 1,000 people. That death toll is now greater than 2,400. The size of the contracts indicates how seriously governments are taking the threat, especially considering that all 5,000 body bags were destined only for Liberia – one of three countries whose citizens have been hammered with new disease cases and paralyzed with fear. And the purchase says nothing about what resources might be coming as part of other nations’ contributions.” Read more.

Uncharted Waters: Worsening Ebola Epidemic Has Potential To Alter History, Virologists Fear It Could Mutate And Become Airborne

09/12/2014 1 comment

Luke 21:10-11, “Then He said to them, ‘Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be great earthquakes in various places, and famines and pestilences; and there will be fearful sights and great signs from heaven…’”

By Michael T. Osterholm, The New York Times – “THE Ebola epidemic in West Africa has the potential to alter history as much as any plague has ever done.

The first possibility is that the Ebola virus spreads from West Africa to megacities in other regions of the developing world. This outbreak is very different from the 19 that have occurred in Africa over the past 40 years. It is much easier to control Ebola infections in isolated villages. But there has been a 300 percent increase in Africa’s population over the last four decades, much of it in large city slums. What happens when an infected person yet to become ill travels by plane to Lagos, Nairobi, Kinshasa or Mogadishu — or even Karachi, Jakarta, Mexico City or Dhaka?

The second possibility is one that virologists are loath to discuss openly but are definitely considering in private: that an Ebola virus could mutate to become transmissible through the air. You can now get Ebola only through direct contact with bodily fluids. But viruses like Ebola are notoriously sloppy in replicating, meaning the virus entering one person may be genetically different from the virus entering the next. The current Ebola virus’s hyper-evolution is unprecedented; there has been more human-to-human transmission in the past four months than most likely occurred in the last 500 to 1,000 years. Each new infection represents trillions of throws of the genetic dice.

If certain mutations occurred, it would mean that just breathing would put one at risk of contracting Ebola. Infections could spread quickly to every part of the globe, as the H1N1 influenza virus did in 2009, after its birth in Mexico.

Why are public officials afraid to discuss this? They don’t want to be accused of screaming ‘Fire!’ in a crowded theater — as I’m sure some will accuse me of doing. But the risk is real, and until we consider it, the world will not be prepared to do what is necessary to end the epidemic.

In 2012, a team of Canadian researchers proved that Ebola Zaire, the same virus that is causing the West Africa outbreak, could be transmitted by the respiratory route from pigs to monkeys, both of whose lungs are very similar to those of humans. Richard Preston’s 1994 best seller ‘The Hot Zone’ chronicled a 1989 outbreak of a different strain, Ebola Reston virus, among monkeys at a quarantine station near Washington. The virus was transmitted through breathing, and the outbreak ended only when all the monkeys were euthanized. We must consider that such transmissions could happen between humans, if the virus mutates.

So what must we do that we are not doing?

First, we need someone to …” Read more.

Ebola Could Hit 15 Countries Across Africa, Infect Tens Of Millions – “The Ebola outbreak could hit 15 countries across Africa – putting the lives of 22 million people at risk, a groundbreaking study has found. In a world first, Oxford scientists have created a new map of places most at risk of an Ebola outbreak. They warn regions likely to be home to animals harbouring the virus are more widespread than previously feared, particularly in West Africa. The virus, which can have a human mortality rate of up to 90 per cent, is thought to be carried by bats or other wild animals and to cross into humans through contact with blood, meat or other infected fluids.” Read more.

Locust Swarm “Like The Plagues Of Egypt” Descends Upon Madagascar’s Capital

By Mustafa Hameed, ABC News – “A swarm of millions of locusts descended upon Madagascar’s capital of Antananarivo on Aug. 28, slowing traffic and blotting out the skies over the city.

Fully-formed clouds of the insects, which have plagued the African nation for more than two years, whizzed through the city’s streets after an urban heat wave attracted the bugs away from their usual rural surroundings.

‘It reminds us of the 10 plagues of Egypt,’ said Ronald Miller, a missionary working in Madagascar with his family.” Read more.

Second Wave: Doctors Without Borders Official Warns Ebola Virus Is Now “Totally Out Of Control” In West Africa

06/20/2014 1 comment

Breitbart – “The Ebola outbreak ravaging West Africa is ‘totally out of control,’ according to a senior official for Doctors Without Borders, who says the medical group is stretched to the limit in its capacity to respond.

International organizations and the governments involved need to send in more health experts and to increase the public education messages about how to stop the spread of the disease, Bart Janssens, the director of operations for the group in Brussels, told The Associated Press on Friday.

Ebola has already been linked to more than 330 deaths in Guinea, Sierra Leone and Liberia, according to the latest numbers from the World Health Organization.

‘The reality is clear that the epidemic is now in a second wave,’ Janssens said. ‘And, for me, it is totally out of control.’

The outbreak, which began in Guinea either late last year or early this year, had appeared to slow before picking up pace again in recent weeks, including spreading to the Liberian capital for the first time.

‘I’m absolutely convinced that this epidemic is far from over and will continue to kill a considerable amount of people, so this will definitely end up the biggest ever,’ he said.

The multiple locations of the outbreak and its movement across borders make it one of the ‘most challenging Ebola outbreaks ever,’ Fadela Chaib, a spokeswoman for the World Health Organization, said earlier in the week.

The outbreak shows no sign of abating and that governments and international organizations were ‘far from winning this battle,’ Unni Krishnan, head of disaster preparedness and response for Plan International, said Friday.

But Janssens’ description of the Ebola outbreak was even more alarming, and he warned that the governments affected had not recognized the gravity of the situation. He criticized the World Health Organization for not doing enough to prod leaders and said that it needs to bring in more experts to do the vital work of tracing all of the people who have been in contact with the sick.

‘There needs to be a real political commitment that this is a very big emergency,’ he said. ‘Otherwise, it will continue to spread, and for sure it will spread to more countries.'” Read more.

Epidemic Outbreak Looms Over Nigeria Because Of Dead Bodies Littering Villages

06/09/2014 2 comments

Luke 21:10-11, “Then He said to them, ‘Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be great earthquakes in various places, and famines and pestilences; and there will be fearful sights and great signs from heaven…’”

The Nigerian Voice – “An alarm has been raised about a looming epidemic outbreak in Borno State over the decaying remains of victims of recent Boko Haram attacks still lying in the open in some parts of the state. The alarm was raised Sunday by the district head of one of the wards under Boko Haram siege, Lawan John, who is now seeking refuge in Maiduguri.

The village head, who spoke with journalists on the ordeal of his people, after a meeting of stakeholders of affected areas in Gwoza Local Government of the state held in Maiduguri, said 109 persons had so far been buried since the attacks.

‘Corpses still littered our villages because we didn’t have access to the villages as the insurgents were still hanging around,’ he said, lamenting that none of the people of the area who had since fled could summon enough confidence to go back and bury some of the dead bodies still lying in the open.

John said many of the villagers were still trapped in the mountains and hills without food to eat for over five days.

‘They rely on people from Pogu village who go there to give them food, and right now there is no food left in the village,’ he said, adding that in some of the villages, the Boko Haram gunmen were still on rampage, shooting anybody who attempted to descend from the mountain.

In the same vein, another residents of the area who craved anonymity said the littering remains of the victims of the recent attacks would have decomposed and there could be epidemic if the whole area is not fumigated .

‘They (insurgents) kill our people and they won’t allow us to give them proper burial, their corpses are made to lie on the road which is not befitting of even a dead animal,’ he said.

Not fewer than 1,000 persons were displaced within the last one week following the Boko Haram attacks on villages in Gwoza Local Government Area. The member, representing Southern Borno district in the National Assembly, Senator Mohammed Ali Ndume, who called the meeting of the stakeholders of the area in Maiduguri, lamented that his people had been made to go through untold hardship by recent attack as over 1,000 persons were displaced and several properties lost.

Ndume disclosed that the killings and burning of property were still continuing in some of the villages, including Gavva, Agapalagu, Chikide, Dushwale, Ngoshe and Ashigashiya.” Read more.

Lying Wonders: Saudi Cleric Claims To Find Cure For MERS, AIDS, Leukemia …

No word if this “cure” only takes effect after the sick have memorized the Qur’an

2 Thessalonians 2:9-10, “The coming of the [lawless one] is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved.”

Al Arabiya News – “As Riyadh declared four new deaths from the MERS coronavirus and 18 new infections on Thursday, a Saudi cleric has claimed that he has found a cure for the deadly virus, prompting ridicule on social media.

Abdullah al-Amrani told al-Hayat newspaper in an interview published Tuesday that he had ‘succeeded’ in finding an herbal cure derived from Islamic medicinal practices.

‘I am confident of its effectiveness and [its] ability to cure stubborn diseases and viruses including MERS,’ Amrani said, adding that he tried his medicine one two patients – one with AIDS and the other with Leukemia – and both were relieved of their ailments.

The claim sparked ridicule on Twitter with one user joking that it’s part of the religious clergy’s business expansion to health sector.

‘You have expanded your business from trading on religion to health and medicine, but please don’t say you have a cure of MERS or AIDS,’ the Twitter user said.

‘God willing, the Virus will disappear soon thanks to the discovery of the preacher from Tabuk,’ another Twitter user remarked.

The preacher is not the only cleric to issue a statement on the virus that has so far killed 121 people in Saudi Arabia.

Last week, a cleric derided people for wearing protective face masks, saying the measure won’t help.

‘I went to the airport yesterday and I saw a big number of people who were wearing masks, I go to the market and I see people wearing them as well,’ Mohammad al-Arifit said during his Friday prayer sermon.” Read more.

Newspaper: What Do Polio And Missing Schoolgirls Have In Common? Islamic Terrorism.

05/08/2014 Leave a comment

So much for Mohammed and his teachings being “a blessing for mankind” …

Zechariah 5:3a, 8a, “… This is the curse [אָלָה – alah] that goes out over the face of the whole earth … This is Wickedness …”

Qur’an Sura 8:55, “Surely the vilest of animals in Allah’s sight are those who disbelieve [non-Muslims] …”

Qur’an Sura 8:55, “Surely the vilest of animals in Allah’s sight are those who disbelieve [non-Muslims] …”

By Margaret Wente, The Globe and Mail – “In Nigeria, more than 270 schoolgirls are kidnapped and enslaved by an obscure militant group called Boko Haram. A few days later, the World Health Organization warns that polio is making a comeback, and declares a global public health emergency.

The link between these two calamities is Islamist terrorism. Far from being eradicated, this deadly disease is as virulent as ever. It strikes hardest at women, teenaged girls and children. And the world seems powerless to stop it.

‘I abducted your girls,’ Boko Haram leader Abubakar Shekau taunts in a chilling new video. ‘There is a market for selling humans. Allah says I should sell. He commands me to sell.’ The goal of Boko Haram (which means ‘Western learning is sinful’ or ‘forbidden’) is to create a radical Islamic state in Nigeria. This is not the first time the group has attacked schoolchildren. It specializes in burning them alive.

Meantime, the highly contagious polio virus is radiating out of Pakistan and showing up in Afghanistan and Syria. In an interview with the CBC this week, a World Health Organization official delicately blamed ‘the suspension of the vaccine in one area,’ as if Pakistani health officials had committed some sort of careless lapse. This sort of airbrushing ignores the real cause, which is the systematic war the Taliban is waging against female health workers. Since July, 2012, at least 31 polio vaccination workers have been killed and many others have quit in fear of their and their families’ lives.

The Taliban insist that vaccination workers are really Western spies who are sterilizing Muslim children. They say the killings are in retaliation for U.S. drone strikes, and point out that the United States once used a local vaccination team in an effort to gather intelligence about Osama bin Laden. This is true, but the Taliban’s war against polio vaccination began years ago. It is part of a larger attack on any behaviour that violates the movement’s bizarre idea of Islam – including work by women outside the home, schooling for girls and family planning (believed to be another Western conspiracy to wipe out Muslims).

In rural Pakistan, community health care is largely delivered by trained women, who are known as Lady Health Workers (LHWs). This means the war on women has had a devastating impact on public health.” Read more.

The tactic is aimed at weakening the supply routes of President Bashar al-Assad’s forces but thousands of civilians are now going hungry, residents say.” Read more.

Report: Camels “Almost Certainly” The Source Of Deadly SARS-Like Virus Spreading Through Middle East

Hadith, Bukhari 8:82:794, “Some people from the tribe of ‘Ukl came to the Prophet and embraced Islam. The climate of Medina did not suit them, so the Prophet ordered them to go to the (herd of milch) camels of charity and to drink, their milk and urine (as a medicine).”

The Islamic world would be wise to ignore their prophet’s own divine revelation regarding the healing properties of camel urine. Unfortunately, that suggestion won’t be intuitive for many. It’ll be insulting, especially when “Allah is so kind to Muslims that He remits their sins by their illness” …

Hasan, 2001, vol. ii, p. 879, foot note 2557, “Allah is so kind to Muslims that He remits their sins by their illness. The Prophet (may peace be upon him) has pointed out that a Muslim should bear illness cheerfully. It serves as atonement for his sins …”

By Jennifer Newton, Mail Online – “Camels are being blamed as the source of the deadly MERS virus, a SARS-like condition which is spreading through the Middle East.

Researchers have warned it is not advisable to come into close contact with the animals, especially sick camels, as most are infected with the same strain of the virus as humans.

MERS, which stands for Middle East Respiratory Syndrome has already infected 345 people in Saudi Arabia since it was identified two years ago.

There has been further concern over the spread of the virus as Saudi Arabia has reported more cases over the weekend, taking the reported number of deaths to 100.

Symptoms include fever, pneumonia and sometimes kidney failure, with a third of all sufferers eventually being killed by the virus.

Yesterday, acting Saudi health minister Adel Fakieh told a news conference: ‘There has been consensus in the discussions taking place over the last two days after the scientific team reviewed various evidence that it is advised not to get into close contact with camels, especially sick camels.’

He was speaking after meeting foreign experts including those from the World Health Organisation who were invited by the government to help investigate MERS. They have also advised people not to consume raw milk or raw meat products from camels.

A countrywide survey of camels in Saudi Arabia shows many, if not most, are infected with a strain genetically almost identical to the strain that’s infecting people, a team at Columbia University, King Saud University, and the EcoHealth Alliance reported.” Read more.

Flashback: Lying Wonders: Saudi ‘Science’ Discovers Cancer Cure In Camel Urine ‘Nano-Particles’ – “While the Zionists sneer about all the Nobel Prizes won by Jews, Muslim science founded on the unerring Koran and Hadiths transmitted by the Angel Gabriel and occasionally Satan, to an illiterate desert bandit, is about to yield the greatest prize of them all. A cure for the most dreaded of diseases where you might least expect it, but exactly where a Koran-literate Muslim would expect to find it.” Read more.

Flashback: ‘Sharia Medicine’: Egyptian Clinic Treats People … With Camel Urine – “A recent Egyptian TV program showed how Islamic Sharia law’s many prescriptions do not merely clash with modern-day concepts like free speech and religious freedom, but even with medicine and science. On September 16, popular TV persona Wael El-Ibrashi hosted Dr. Zaghlul al-Naggar, a prominent Islamic thinker and Chairman of Egypt’s Committee of Scientific Notions in the Quran, on the topic of medical science and Islam. Inevitably the idea of drinking camel urine as a form of therapy—first proposed in the 7th century by Muslim prophet Muhammad—came up. Not only did Dr. Naggar promote this practice, but he made the staggering announcement that right now in Egypt a medical center in Marsa Matrouh actually specializes in treating people with camel urine, all in accord with the prophet’s advice.” Read more.

Flashback: Yemen: Hair Salons Using Camel Urine To Promote Healthy Hair – “Camel urine, considered an ancient Islamic ‘remedy’ from the time of the Prophet Mohammed, has become big business for men and women in Yemen. The urine has become fashionable recently among Yemen’s young people, who claim that it strengthens the scalp, slows hair loss and promotes healthy hair. According to the Arab TV network al-Arabiya, hair salons throughout the country are requesting this precious ‘tonic’ and selling it at four dollars a litre – a high price considering the income level of most of the buyers… The use of the urine is not just limited to women. Men have reportedly also been using it to prevent or stop hair loss.” Read more.
