Muslim Converts To Christianity After Studying “Allah’s Laws”

03/11/2016 2 comments

The Spirit of God prompted this man to do something that Islam discourages all Muslims from doing: Asking difficult questions. But he listened, and it changed his life forever …

Qur’an Surah 5:101-102, “O ye who believe! Ask not questions about things which if made plain to you, may cause you trouble … Some people before you did ask such questions, and on that account lost their faith.”

Hadith, Sahih Bukhari 1:3:92, “The Prophet was asked about things which he did not like, but when the questioners insisted, the Prophet got angry.”

reading-the-quran_56c95e7a7b6a8By George Thomas, CBN News – “Shahid is proof that God is moving powerfully across parts of Muslim-majority Middle East and North Africa.

Shahid (not his real name for security purposes), is from Libya and grew up a devout Muslim.

‘As every Libyan, when I was a little boy, I used to go to the Koranic school,’ Shahid told Leading The Way with Dr. Michael Youssef, a Christian television and radio ministry that broadcasts in more than 190 countries around the world.

Shahid spent 14 years of his life attending Muslim schools, where a strict interpretation of Islamic jurisprudence was taught. He became an expert in the Koran, even memorizing the entire Muslim holy book.

But the closer he examined the Muslim laws, the more he become disillusioned with what he read.

‘Islam was completely exposed with its hidden reality,’ Shahid said of studying Islam. ‘Little by little, I had serious concerns about Islam.’

To get some answers to his questions, he sought the advice of friends and family. But they told him not to question his faith. They even became hostile.

‘They told me there is a verse in the Koran that urges Muslims not to seek answers to questions about some things, as it may hurt them if they know the answers.’

The doubt. The questions. The inaccuracies of his faith tormented Shahid.

‘I lived in a struggle for more than four years,’ Shahid told LTW in a video produced by the organization.

Desperate and despondent, Shahid said he decided to abandon the faith of his childhood and become an atheist.

‘I got to a point when Islam had no part of my life, and religion ceased to exist and Muhammad meant nothing to me.’

It was around this time that Shahid came across Kingdom SAT, Leading The Way’s 24-hour satellite channel, which broadcasts across the Muslim world.

With the help of Leading The Way partners in the Middle East, Shahid secretly connected with Christians in Lebanon and Jordon and eventually was introduced to Jesus Christ.

‘I learned about who Jesus is and how to be a Christian. We studied how to live with Christ, fellowship with Him, and be part of the church.’

After several months of intensive Bible studies, Shahid said he ‘accepted Jesus’ salvation and got baptized.’

Inspired with revelation of God’s profound love for him, Shahid said he felt compelled to share his new found faith with his countrymen in Libya and others across the region.” Read more.

In every facet of daily life a Muslim’s conduct must be based upon a strict set of Islamic laws, called the Sharia, and anyone failing to follow ‘Allah’s’ burdensome edicts must suffer draconian punishments, non-Musims included. But take a look at the Islamic world today. Is it exemplified by peace and justice and social harmony because of ‘Allah’s laws’? To the contrary, the Islamic world is ravaged by war, by deprivation, by desert and famine and starvation and pestilences, conditions that are true both physically and spiritually, both literally and figuratively. Because of ‘Sharia lawlessness’ the ‘Religion of Peace’ is typified by widespread destruction and disparity, and any number of recent headlines bear this out all too well…” Read more.

Muslims Reportedly Coming To Christ In Nigeria Despite Brutal Persecution Of Christians

02/25/2016 2 comments

As long as there is breath in your nostrils, there is hope in our hearts …

Matthew 11:28-30, “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”

b6d12-6a014e5f57cd90970c0147e3824036970b-piBy Florence Taylor, Christian Today – “Muslims are converting to Christianity in northern Nigeria amid rapidly rising levels of Christian persecution, which has seen more than ten thousand Christians killed in five years, according to a new report released today.

While much media attention has been focussed on Islamic State and the plight of persecuted minorities in the Middle East, 11,500 Christians in northern Nigeria were killed in five years between 2006-2014, and 13,000 churches were destroyed, forcing 1.3 million Christians to flee to safer areas of the country.

In 2014, Boko Haram, an Islamist militant group active mainly in northern Nigeria, was named the world’s deadliest terror organisation by the Global Terrorism Index.

In 2015, the number of Christians violently killed in the country increased by 62 per cent, to 4,028 people, and 198 churches were attacked, according to persecution charity Open Doors’ 2016 World Watch List.

A new report, Crushed but not defeated, the impact of persistent violence on the Church in Northern Nigeria, by Open Doors and the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) reveals a horrific degree of violence against Christians, but also glimmers of hope from a Church that is determined to remain strong.

CAN, Nigeria’s largest confederation of churches, has committed to revive the Church in northern Nigeria, both by grass roots action and by advocacy. It is calling on the UN and other international bodies to engage with the plight of Christians who feel long abandoned.

While Nigeria is technically a secular federal state with religious freedom enshrined in its constitution, ‘the reality in Northern Nigeria is radically different,’ said Lisa Pearce, chief executive of Open Doors UK and Ireland.

‘For decades, Christians in the region have suffered marginalisation and discrimination as well as targeted violence. This is happening not only in the Sharia states of the Far North where the pressure of Islam is hard felt, but also in the non-Sharia Middle Belt states where Sharia has not been formally implemented.'” Read more.

“The Forbidden Chapter” Of The Hebrew Bible

09/30/2015 26 comments

Tip of the hat to Joel Richardson for the link. “There’s a chapter in [the Hebrew Bible] that used to be read in the synagogues as part of the Haftarah (yearly reading), but later the rabbis decided to take it out of the Haftarah reading. Today it’s considered ‘The Forbidden Chapter.’ Have you heard about it?” Watch the powerful video below …

Isaiah 62:11, “Behold, the LORD hath proclaimed unto the end of the world, Say ye to the daughter of Zion, Behold, thy YESHU’AH cometh; behold, HIS reward [is] with HIM, and HIS work before HIM.”

Jeremiah 23:6, “… Now this is His name by which He will be called: THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.”

Revelation 22:12, “And behold, I [YESHUA] am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me …

2 Corinthians 5:21, “For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.”

Kenya: Muslim Cleric Converts To Christianity After Dream, “I Saw Jesus Very Clearly Telling Me To Follow Him”

08/14/2015 2 comments

Hat tip to Jihad Watch for the link. “Jesus appeared saying ‘It’s Me, follow Me. When you follow me you will pay a price, there will be persecution in your life.'” If the Lord can change Saul, He can change anybody. Notice how the teachings this former Muslim cleric says he received as a child parallel a recent article I wrote explaining how the prophetic texts of Revelation foretold Islamic teachings. Click the link below to watch the video interview …

Psalm 70:4, “Let all those who seek You rejoice and be glad in You; And let those who love Your salvation say continually, ‘Let God be magnified!’”

By Lauren Gunias, WorldWatch Monitor – “U.S. President Barack Obama visited Kenya and Ethiopia 24-28 July, partly to discuss regional security. In Kenya especially, Christians have been targeted by the violent al-Qaeda affiliate al-Shabaab.

In the Ethiopian capital of Addis Ababa on 28 July, making an American president’s first speech to the African Union, Obama said ‘Many of these groups claim the banner of religion, but hundreds of millions of African Muslims know that Islam means peace.’

For millions of Muslims, that may be true. For one Muslim cleric, it was not. This is his story.

Tofik grew up in Islamic schools and became an imam in his East African village. Several deeply personal revelations brought him to Christianity, at the risk of his life. In the Horn of Africa as in some other Islamic societies, a former Muslim who becomes Christian is at great risk. World Watch Monitor therefore is not using Tofik’s actual name, and in the following videos, his face is obscured…

Tofik trained to become an imam for 24 years at an Islamic madrasa school in Africa.

‘In school I only learned about Islam,’ he said. ‘Parts of our teaching were about destroying Christianity. So we did what we learned, by attacking Christians once we finished our training.’

He said he was taught that Christians are bad people, and that he and the other students were encouraged to steal from and kill non-Muslims.

‘We beat them, attacked the church and burnt their Bibles’

‘Our teachers would tell us every time there was a new church in town and we were told to go and attack the people and destroy the church. So that’s what we did,’ Tofik said…

Tofik was one of 14 students selected by the local mosque to be trained in Saudi Arabia for further Islamic studies…

Why did he become Christian? ‘There was an incident in 2002 where I had a vision from the Lord early in the morning around 3 a.m.,’ he said. ‘In the vision I saw Jesus very clearly telling me to follow him.’

‘My wife asked me what happened in my dream, because I woke up very startled, and when I explained it to her she was scared and said, ‘We are going to be infidels, so we need to pray.’’

He told her which Quranic verses Jesus told him to read in his dream, and said they all specifically instruct the reader to follow and believe in Jesus.

Going back to sleep, Tofik said he immediately he had another vision of Jesus.

‘Jesus appeared saying ‘It’s Me, follow Me. When you follow me you will pay a price, there will be persecution in your life, but in the end you will be victorious. I am with you.’'” Read more.

Luke 21:16-17, “And ye shall be betrayed both by parents, and brethren, and kinsfolks, and friends; and some of you shall they cause to be put to death. And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake.”

Recommended: How Revelation’s Predictive Biblical Prophecy Foresaw Islamic Teachings – “Given the context of Revelation and all that takes place against the people of God, the ‘waters’ turning ‘bitter’ [of Revelation 8] is likely referring to the ‘peoples, multitudes, nations, and tongues’ that are turned ‘angry, indignant, antagonistic, hostile’ by the ‘star’ and their subsequent treatment of God’s people… Could this ‘star’ falling from heaven to earth be a reference to a deceptive, demonic force? Of particular interest is the fact that the name of the ‘star’ figuratively means ‘calamity.’ Pick up virtually any thesaurus and ‘calamity’ is synonymous with ‘affliction’ and ‘distress.’ Coincidentally, or perhaps it’s no coincidence at all, one of the 99 names of Allah, Islam’s ‘all-powerful’ deity, is Ad-Darr which means ‘The Afflicter’ or ‘The Distressor’ … Satan must now set up for himself a people who are conformed to his own image in order to achieve the goal of destroying the elect of God [per Revelation 12:17]. And the key to achieving that goal? Islam.” Read more.

Former Muslim Terrorist Converts To Christianity After Seeing Jesus In A Dream, “The Bible Became My Weapon”

Ephesians 6:12-17, “For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God … and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God …”

Unlike the sword of jihad, this is the one and only Sword that he’ll be blessed to live and die by

Psalm 70:4, “Let all those who seek You rejoice and be glad in You; And let those who love Your salvation say continually, ‘Let God be magnified!’”

Luke 2:25-30, “… there was a man in Jerusalem called Simeon, who was righteous and devout… It had been revealed to him by the Holy Spirit that he would not die before he had seen the Lord’s Messiah. Moved by the Spirit, he went into the temple courts. When the parents brought in the child Jesus to do for him what the custom of the Law required, Simeon took him in his arms and praised God, saying: ‘Sovereign Lord, as you have promised … my eyes have seen your salvation …'”

By Carey Lodge, Christianity Today – “A former Muslim cleric who converted to Christianity after meeting Jesus in a dream was abandoned by his family and brutally beaten. He now says his faith taught him how to forgive.

In an interview with World Watch Monitor, Tofik (not his real name) described his training as an extremist Muslim cleric in West Africa. As a young man he was taught to hate Christianity, and he and his fellow pupils ‘went to the nearby town and met believers. We beat them and then attacked the church.’

‘Our teachers would tell us every time there was a new church in town and we were told to go and attack the people and destroy the church. So that’s what we did,’ he explained. Many students burnt Bibles, but Tofik says something stopped him from joining in. He even kept a Bible for many years, not knowing why, though he says he ‘now understand[s] it was God holding my hand’.

After further training in Saudi Arabia, Tofik returned to his hometown and became a prominent Imam, leading the construction of 16 new mosques. He forbade the preaching of Christianity, but eventually became got involved in an interfaith tree-planting project. It was around that time that he had a dream about Jesus.

‘There was an incident in 2002 where I had a vision from the Lord early in the morning around 3 am. In the vision I saw Jesus very clearly telling me to follow him,’ he said.

‘I asked the person who was calling me to follow him, ‘Who are you?’ He said, ‘I am Jesus Christ’.’

After going back to sleep, he saw Jesus again. ‘Jesus appeared saying ‘It’s Me, follow Me. When you follow me you will pay a price, there will be persecution in your life, but in the end you will be victorious. I am with you,” he recalled.

Tofik converted to Christianity and began attending church, but his family were too afraid to join him. He was considered ‘as good as dead’ by the Muslim community, who destroyed his house, set it on fire, and stole his cattle. Tofik then planted a church in the compound where he lived, which caused such outrage that he was beaten and almost killed.

He says he …” Read more.

‘O Holy Night’ By David Phelps

12/24/2014 3 comments

One of the most moving renditions of “O Holy Night” that I have ever seen, and with an ending that will definitely “let all within us praise His Holy Name …”

Psalm 118:14, The LORD is my strength and song, And He has become my YESHUW’AH

Matthew 1:21, She shall bring forth a son. You shall call His name YESHUA, for it is He who shall save His people from their sins.

UK: Radical Preacher Anjem Choudary Among 9 Held For Supporting Terrorists

Foreground: Anjem Choudary; Background: The Woolwich Beheader

By Paul Peachey, The Independent – “Anjem Choudary, the radical activist and co-founder of the banned al-Muhajiroun group, was arrested today as efforts intensify to disrupt the ideological backers of young British Muslims travelling to fight in foreign conflicts.

Mr Choudary was among nine men held on suspicion of supporting a banned terrorist group and encouraging terrorism. The arrests came shortly after Mr Choudary fired off a series of angry tweets after David Cameron called on MPs to back air strikes against Islamic State militants in Syria.

The arrests follow a sharp increase in raids by counter-terrorist officers, according to campaigners, after a speech by David Cameron announcing stronger measures to tackle suspected extremists.

The authorities have come under pressure to act against Mr Choudary, a trained lawyer, whose inflammatory statements have been scrutinised by police but have not broken any laws.

Al-Muhajiroun, which he founded with Omar Bakri Mohammed and which advocates the establishment of an Islamic State in the UK, was banned in 2010 and has changed names several times to avoid prosecution. The group has a near 20-year history of encouraging terrorism, and one in five Islamism-inspired terrorists in the UK had links to the group …” Read more.

Former Mufti On Muhammad: “So Many People Can’t Live Properly Because Of Him”

08/30/2014 Leave a comment

Because no one can truly live by the dictates of a man who valued deceit and death more than truth and life …

Revelation 13:15-18, “The second beast was given power to give breath to the image of the first beast, so that the image could speak and cause all who refused to worship the image to be killed. It also forced all people, great and small, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or their foreheads, so that they could not buy or sell unless they had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of its name. This calls for wisdom. Let the person who has insight calculate [ψηφίζω – “reckon”] the number [ἀριθμός – “multitude” of people] of the beast, for it is the number [ἀριθμός – “multitude” of people] of a man [the “prophet” Mohammed]. That number [ἀριθμός – “multitude” as in people] is [χξς – “In The Name of Allah” in Arabic].”

By Robert Spencer, Jihad Watch – “Turan Dursun was ‘a former mufti and imam and an open critic of Islam who fought for a freer ‎and more humane world despite pressures from the state, the public, and even his own ‎father, whose dream was to see him become a devoted cleric.’ He lived in Turkey. He was, as was tragically predictable, assassinated by defenders of the faith.

‘Choosing between freedom and Islamism,’ by Uzay Bulut, Israel Hayom, August 26, 2014:

“The book you are holding in your hand is a book of a new era marked for a more beautiful ‎world. It is obvious that a more beautiful world cannot be achieved without a freer world. ‎And to achieve a freer world, taboos must be broken. All kinds of chains that bind freedoms ‎must be broken.”‎

This excerpt is from the preface of the first edition of the book ‘This is Religion,’ by Turan ‎Dursun.‎

Dursun’s father was of Turkish descent, and his mother, of Kurdish descent. Born in Turkey ‎in 1934, he was a former mufti and imam and an open critic of Islam who fought for a freer ‎and more humane world despite pressures from the state, the public, and even his own ‎father, whose dream was to see him become a devoted cleric.‎

Dursun was a prestigious mufti in the cities where he worked. His ‎progressiveness and hard work were often covered by the national media, and he sometimes ‎wrote columns for national newspapers, as well. He was frequently invited to official state ‎ceremonies and was respected by the public. He regularly visited villages to observe their ‎problems, and tried to offer solutions.‎

Because Dursun received his education in madrassas (Muslim theological schools) and knew Arabic ‎well, he had a comprehensive knowledge of Islam’s original source documents — the Quran, ‎hadith, biographies and histories. And he had something of crucial importance that most ‎Muslim scholars lack: a critical mind.‎

The Islamic religious texts did not satisfy the depths of his mind. He had an incredible passion ‎for learning. Aside from his native languages, Turkish and Kurdish, he learned Arabic, ‎Circassian, and some French. He had a strong interest in Greek philosophy, as well, and read ‎Aristotle’s works when he was just 12. ‎

‎”’Knowledge is accumulated in your mind to a point, and then a spark is emitted. But if [your ‎religion or ideology] is so deeply rooted in your culture and conscious, it is hard to certainly ‎face up to and distance yourself from it. I always had a nature that revolted against the ‎concept of God and my disengagement from Islam took place in an evolutionary phase. I had ‎always argued with God. Then I repented. I thought, for example, that if the Quran is the word ‎of God, then why does it permit slavery? Why does it tell some people that it is OK if they are ‎slaves? I thought that if [the Quran’s author] was really Allah, he should have abolished ‎slavery and that he should not have declared some people slaves and others free. But then I ‎immediately abjured. I had always been in a state of rebellion since my childhood,’ Dursun ‎said in an interview.‎

But his main estrangement from Islam happened when he compared the Quran with other ‎religious books. ‎

‘Then I realized how Muhammad transferred some of the writings of the Torah and Bible to ‎the Quran. I was so frustrated and angry. I could not live my childhood and youth properly ‎because of him. So many people can’t live properly because of him. So many people are Read more…

Good News: Italy Expels Mosque Imam Who Prayed For The Genocide Of Jews

08/05/2014 2 comments

Here’s a nice update to this story. If Italy is going to begin expelling Muslim preachers for asking “Allah” to kill all Jews, however, they just might want to think about putting the boot of Italy to virtually every imam across the country. Killing Jews is, after all, one of the fundamental aspirations of all truly devout Muslims, and one that is rooted in a commandment from the “prophet” of Islam himself …

Hadith, Tabari 7:97, “The morning after the murder of Ashraf, the Prophet declared, ‘Kill any Jew who falls under your power.’”

Hadith, Sahih Muslim, 41:6985, “The Day of Judgement will not come about until Muslims fight the Jews, when the Jew will hide behind stones and trees. The stones and trees will say O Muslims, O Abdullah, there is a Jew behind me, come and kill him …”

111111-c_s-500ZNews – “Italy said Tuesday it is expelling a Moroccan imam caught on video inciting violence against Jews during Israel’s offensive against Hamas militants in Gaza.

The imam was filmed during a Friday sermon in a mosque near Venice last month calling for Jews to be killed ‘one by one’, according to the Middle East Media Research Institute (Memri), which published the video on its website.

Interior Minister Angelino Alfano said he had ordered the expulsion of Raoudi Aldelbar ‘for seriously disturbing public order, being a danger to national security and for religious discrimination,’ after experts carried out a thorough examination of the footage.

Aldelbar, an imam in the town of San Dona di Piave in northern Italy, appeared in the video to launch into a diatribe against the Jews, in which he said: ‘Oh Allah, bring upon them that which will make us happy. Count them one by one, and kill them one by one.’

Alfano said the speech was ‘unacceptable’ as it was ‘of clear anti-Semitic tone, containing explicit incitements to violence and religious hate’.

Anti-Semitic graffiti was scrawled across walls in several areas of Rome last month in protest at Israel’s deadly offensive against Gaza.” Source – ZNews.

Christian Church In Iran Growing Despite Threats Of Death

05/09/2014 4 comments

“I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.” – Jesus Christ

By Gary Lane, CBN News – “Iran’s new president has promised to protect the country’s Christians, but attacks are intensifying.

As they work to survive, CBN News was given an exclusive, rare view that few outsiders witness: a secret meeting of new Iranian believers in a neighboring country, not far from the border.

The brand new followers of Christ received Bible teaching and participated in their very first communion.

After a few songs and prayers, several were baptized. Then they returned to more late-night Bible study and training before returning to Iran.

For the first time, these Christians learned how to look up and memorize Scripture. They’re Kurds, former Muslims who converted to Christianity.

If their identities and location were revealed to secret police, Iranian agents would have come to arrest them. Some may have been killed for being apostates.

One former Muslim — we called Daoud — knows the dangers all too well. Before he became a Christian, Iranian police caught him eating a sandwich instead of fasting during the Islamic holy month of Ramadan.

That violated Sharia law. A judge ordered him to receive 70 lashes, a punishment similar to that imposed by the Taliban.

‘I was tied down. A mullah held the Koran in his hand and recited a verse and then a soldier beat my back with a cable,’ he explained.

‘It made me feel deep hatred against Islam and the Islamic Republic of Iran. All I did was grab a sandwich and eat it. Why is that a sin?’ he asked.

Later, Daoud met some Christians on the Internet who introduced him to Christ. He embraced Christianity after witnessing miracles of healing and deliverance.

Daoud keeps his newfound faith secret, while quietly and cautiously sharing Christ with others in his city.

‘Right now, it is really scary because if the government knows about it, I’m pretty sure they will execute me,’ he said.” Read more.

Sudan: Christian Woman Enslaved For 19 Years By Muslims Is Finally Free

05/03/2014 4 comments

At His First Coming, the liberty of Christ opened the prisons of all who were bound by sin. At His Second, He will liberate all who are bound by chains …

1 Thessalonians 4:16-17, “For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.”

By Mark Ellis, GR – “She was kidnapped in South Sudan before she was even a teenager and forced by her Muslim captor to the North. Subjected to beatings, forced genital mutilation, and commanded to ‘pray like a Muslim,’ she found liberation after 19 painful years.

‘I was captured in 1994 in Gok Machar.  I was still young, not yet a teenager.  Six of us were captured.  Three of us refused to go to the North.  They were killed.  My hands were tied to a horse to pull me along.  We walked all day without rest, and we weren’t treated when we were sick,’ Ayul Aguer told those who worked for her release at Christian Solidarity International (CSI).

After they arrived at their destination, her new master – a man named Mohammad Jamos, sold two of the remaining three victims, so only Ayul remained as his servant.

‘He did not treat me well,’ she recounts.  ‘He beat me all the time, as m

uch as ten times a day.  He forced me to work, grinding grain, fetching water, cooking, and washing clothes,’ according to her interview with CSI.

One day Mohammad sent her to the market for provisions, but a tragic incident happened. ‘Some Arab boys raped me on the way, and knifed my finger, upper arm and upper thigh.’

Ayul followed Jesus Christ at the time of her capture and attended church, but her captor forbade any outward expression of her faith.

‘Mohammed forced me to pray like a Muslim.  He threatened to kill me if I talked about church.  Once I told him I was going to go to church anyway.  He tied me up outside and left me in the sun all day.  He ordered me to look at the sun.  I couldn’t see for some days after that.  I still get dizzy sometimes,’ she recounts.

Mohammed also forced her to undergo female genital mutilation/cutting (FGC), sometimes referred to as female circumcision.  It is estimated that between 100 million and 140 million girls and women worldwide have received FGC, according to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. There are more than 3 million girls at risk of having FGC each year.

‘I didn’t want it; it’s not from my culture,’ Ayul says.

A short time later, Ayul was given to another slave, Deng, to be his wife. ‘We had three children, and gave them Arab names.  If I had given them Dinka names, I would have lost my life,’ she says.

Ayul is from the Dinka people group, the largest ethnic tribe in South Sudan, which makes up about 18% of the population.

Ayul was separated from her three children when she was liberated in September, 2013 and returned to her home in South Sudan. ‘I need my children back,’ she says. ‘I also need Deng.  He’s the only one I know.’ Deng also belongs to the Dinka people.

‘But I’m happy to be here.  When the slave retriever told me we were going back to South Sudan, I was Read more…

Indeed Christ, Our Passover, Was Sacrificed For Us

04/20/2014 6 comments

2 Corinthians 5:21, “For God made Christ, who never sinned, to be the offering for our sin, so that we could be made right with God through Christ.”

The wages of sin is death (Romans 6:23). Sin separates us from God (Isaiah 59:2) and, since God is the Giver and Sustainer of life (Genesis 2:7), separation from Him means that eternal death will inevitably follow (Revelation 21:8). But because of His love for you and I the God of Heaven came down to us (John 3:16), was born in the flesh (John 1:14), lived a sinless life (1 Peter 2:22; Hebrews 9:14), and willingly died in our place upon a Cross so that we could live with Him forever (Philippians 2:5-8; Revelation 22:12). All you have to do from this point foward is BELIEVE in your heart that indeed Christ, our Passover, was sacrificed for us (Luke 8:4-15) and overcame death on the third day (1 Corinthians 15:3-4). For anyone reading who may not yet know Him, seek the Lord while He may be found. Today is your day to believe, for tomorrow may be too late …

John 11:25-26, “Jesus said to her, ‘I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?'”

1 Corinthians 1:18, “For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.”
