In the West, songs regularly revolve around love and the ins-and-outs of the heartbreak that can often accompany it. In many parts of the Islamic world, however, where lyrics are heavily influenced by the Qur’an you’ll regularly come across twisted Mohammed-inspired spins on what could only be appropriately designated as halal Death Metal. It’s one of those few times where even the morbid, instrument-hating “prophet” of Islam would have a toe-tapping “good” time …
