Revelation 18:4-5, “And I heard another voice from heaven saying, ‘Come out of her, my people, lest you share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues. For her sins have reached to heaven, and God has remembered her iniquities.'”

Non-Muslims are forbidden from Islam’s “holy” city of Mecca

Someone asked me not too long ago that if the “Whore of Babylon” in Revelation 17 and 18 represented Mecca, the birthplace and spiritual homestead of Islam, then how could God call upon His people to “come out of her” given the fact that non-Muslims have never been allowed to even step foot in Islam’s “holiest” city?  The answer to this question is actually quite simple when we realize the language and intent of the text is not suggesting that some of God’s people are physically in Mecca, but another way all together. Notice the relationship between the “kings of the earth” and the adulterous Babylonian “harlot”:

Revelation 17:1-2, “Come, I will show you the judgment of the great harlot who sits on many waters, with whom the kings of the earth committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth were made drunk with the wine of her fornication.”

The Book of Revelation is redolent with Old Testament language. If we look at the Hebrew word for “fornication” we realize that it was often used figuratively in the context of idolatry and being unfaithful to God. We see the same thing in Revelation 2:14 and 2:20 where “fornication” being committed by God’s people is in direct reference to a false religion. In Revelation 17:2, the relationship between the “kings of the earth” and the “harlot” is likewise depicted in sexually graphic terms where the “kings of the earth” are committing spiritual intercourse or “fornication” with a false Babylonian religion. Today, we see Western nations — from leaders of traditionally Christian countries who claim to be Christian yet who are all too willing to visit mosques and even offer prayers to Allah in the vein of inclusivity — bending over backwards for the “Religion of Peace” at every turn and even punishing those daring to criticize it. Sadly, one unfortunate side-effect of such “political correctness” is the fact that we are now also seeing a number of Christian churches openly embracing certain aspects of Islam and its blasphemous teachings far too often, with some of them even going so far as to hold readings of the Qur’an or distributing Qur’ans for public consumption in an effort to somehow show that as a Christian church they love all people and don’t “discriminate” in any way, shape or form. Loving all people is one thing, but embracing the religion of all people is another, especially one whose primary goal is the destruction of the elect of God:

This is happening far too often. Whether it’s on an individual Christian level or Christians sitting in churches and calling it Ecuminism or Chrislam or Interfaith or anything else, we all need to be standing up and calling it WRONG. If we’re to be a “holy nation” as 1 Peter 2:9 calls believers in Christ, we must set ourselves apart from such religious filth and “have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them” (Ephesians 5:11). In these last days, it is therefore no surprise that as soon as we are given a depiction of explicit spiritual “fornication” in Revelation 18:3 we then read the following warning in the very next verse:

Revelation 18:4,Come out of her, my people, lest you share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues.”

Jesus gave a similar warning to the church in Thyatira for tolerating “that woman” who was “teaching and seducing My servants to practice sexual immorality … Behold, I will throw her onto a sickbed, and those who commit adultery with her I will throw into great tribulation” (Revelation 2:18-22).

The Word of God tells us that “in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons” (1 Timothy 4:1), but those of us who overcome are being clothed in white garments (Revelation 3:5). No matter what comes our way, may we all make sure to keep them on (Revelation 16:15) …

By Robert Spencer, Jihad Watch – “This photo was apparently taken at a recent demonstration in Washington, DC:

im-christian-and-i-love-the-quran

And there is so much in it for a Christian to love:

Jesus is not the Son of God: ‘O People of the Scripture! Do not exaggerate in your religion nor utter aught concerning Allah save the truth. The Messiah, Jesus son of Mary, was only a messenger of Allah, and His word which He conveyed unto Mary, and a spirit from Him. So believe in Allah and His messengers, and say not ‘Three’ – Cease! (it is) better for you! – Allah is only One Allah. Far is it removed from His Transcendent Majesty that He should have a son. His is all that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth. And Allah is sufficient as Defender.’ — Qur’an 4:171

And: ‘It is not befitting to (the majesty of) Allah that He should beget a son. Glory be to Him! when He determines a matter, He only says to it, ‘Be,’ and it is.’ — Qur’an 19:35

Jesus was not crucified: ‘And because of their saying: We slew the Messiah, Jesus son of Mary, Allah’s messenger – they slew him not nor crucified him, but it appeared so unto them; and lo! those who disagree concerning it are in doubt thereof; they have no knowledge thereof save pursuit of a conjecture; they slew him not for certain.’ — Qur’an 4:157

Those who believe in the divinity of Christ are unbelievers: ‘They have certainly disbelieved who say that Allah is Christ, the son of Mary.’ — Qur’an 5:17

Belief in the Trinity is ‘excess’: ‘O People of the Scripture, do not commit excess in your religion or say about Allah except the truth. The Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary, was but a messenger of Allah and His word which He directed to Mary and a soul from Him. So believe in Allah and His messengers. And do not say, ‘Three’; desist – it is better for you. Indeed, Allah is but one God. Exalted is He above having a son. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. And sufficient is Allah as Disposer of affairs.’ — Qur’an 4:171

Christians have forgotten part of the divine revelations they received: ‘From those, too, who call themselves Christians, We did take a covenant, but they forgot a good part of the message that was sent them: so we estranged them, with enmity and hatred between the one and the other, to the day of judgment. And soon will Allah show them what it is they have done.’ — Qur’an 5:14

Those who believe that Jesus is God’s Son are accursed: ‘The Jews call ‘Uzair a son of Allah, and the Christians call Christ the son of Allah. That is a saying from their mouth; (in this) they but imitate what the unbelievers of old used to say. Allah’s curse be on them: how they are deluded away from the Truth!’ — Qur’an 9:30

Christians who do not accepted Muhammad and the Qur’an are the most vile of created beings: ‘Nor did those who were given the Scripture become divided until after there had come to them clear evidence. And they were not commanded except to worship Allah, sincere to Him in religion, inclining to truth, and to establish prayer and to give zakah. And that is the correct religion. Indeed, they who disbelieved among the People of the Scripture and the polytheists will be in the fire of Hell, abiding eternally therein. Those are the most vile of created beings.’ — Qur’an 98:6

Muslims must fight against and subjugate Christians: ‘Fight those who believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger, nor acknowledge the religion of Truth, (even if they are) of the People of the Book, until they pay the Jizya with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued.’ — Qur’an 9:29

‘I’m a Christian and I LOVE Muslims’? Absolutely. Love for Muslims is one thing, however, and love for the Qur’an is another. It is strange for someone who professes to be a Christian, who presumably believes that Jesus is the Son of God, the Second Person of the Trinity, who was crucified and rose from the dead for the salvation of the human race, to profess love for a book that denies all that and says that those who believe it are accursed, vile beings who should be waged war against until they submit to the hegemony of a group that believes differently.

What’s more, although very few Christians would dare say so publicly nowadays, to be a Christian at all assumes a denial that Muhammad is a prophet and the Qur’an a holy book, for they both affirm as matters of faith beliefs that Christians do not hold, and, as we have seen, deny many that Christians do hold.

It may be that the carrier of this sign considers herself a Christian in the spirit of this passage: ‘Indeed, those who believed and those who were Jews or Christians or Sabeans — those who believed in Allah and the Last Day and did righteousness — will have their reward with their Lord, and no fear will there be concerning them, nor will they grieve.’ — Qur’an 2:62

This appears at first glance to be a marvelously forward-thinking example of ecumenism: Qur’an commentator Muhammad Asad exults: ‘With a breadth of vision unparalleled in any other religious faith, the idea of ‘salvation’ is here made conditional upon three elements only: belief in God, belief in the Day of Judgment, and righteous action in life.’ But he contradicts himself by adding ‘in this divine writ’ after the words ‘those who have attained to faith’ in his translation of verse 62 — that is, to be saved, one must believe in the Qur’an as well as the earlier revelations.

And indeed, Muslim commentators are not actually inclined to see this as an indication of divine pluralism, but only an affirmation that those Christians who become Muslims will be saved. The translators Abdullah Yusuf Ali and Mohammed Marmaduke Pickthall, as well as Asad, all feel it necessary to add parenthetical glosses that make the passage mean that Jews and Christians (as well as Sabians, whose identity is disputed) will enter Paradise only if they become Muslims. Qur’an.com adds ‘before Prophet Muhammad’ in brackets after ‘Jews or Christians or Sabeans,’ making it clear that those three could only be saved as such before the advent of Islam, but now they must convert to Islam to get to Paradise.

And according to Ibn Abbas, this verse was abrogated by Qur’an 3:85: ‘And whoever desires other than Islam as religion – never will it be accepted from him, and he, in the Hereafter, will be among the losers.’ Sayyid Qutb opines that 2:62 applied only before Muhammad brought Islam to the world, a view supported by a saying of Muhammad recorded by Tabari, in which the Prophet of Islam says that Christians who died before his coming will be saved, but those who have heard of him and yet rejected his prophetic claim will not be.

It is unlikely, of course, that the person hold this sign has thought any of this through. She is just trying to be nice. And she is unlikely ever to stop and ponder the implications of the fact that no Muslim has been carrying around a sign saying, “’I’m Muslim and I LOVE the Bible.'” Source – Jihad Watch.

That person called a Christian takes the name of Jesus in vain. That person does not know the bible. Isaiah 9:6King James Version (KJV)6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

That verse is talking about Jesus. Jesus was God with blood in him. The words in the Quran are Lucifer’s words. Jesus is one. The father in him is two. The Father and Jesus are the Holy spirit. That is three. God is fire to a devil. Devils will point up to God outside of them. God is death in a devil. That is why Muslims point upward. God is not in them. Allah the liar will defend no one. That being is the being who did not say fear not to Muhammad. Terrorists will not say fear not.

Jesus is the resurrection and the life. How can Jesus be that had he not been rejected being crucified? Jesus ministered to lost souls in Satan’s prison. That would not be possible unless Jesus was crucified. Judas would not have said it is finished. Judas would not have said Father, forgive them, for they no not what they do. Allah lies. Allah the accuser who is satan will show people what they have done condeming them. See how that works?

God says to pray without ceasing. Allah’s prayer is automatic as a military weapon. It is on again off again mindless heartless cold hearted prayer. That is false prayer.

Lucifer said to the angels: we must fight. 1/3 fell.

People who perished in the flood are in the Muslims paradise being Satan’s prison. They will become the lake of fire after the second resurrection as it is discribed in revelation 20 KJV Cambridge edition bible.

Lucifer spoke through Muhammad who is satan. Muslkim call the bible corrupted. How can they love the bible? How can they love, love works no ill to your neighbour in the bible or any other verse? Satan does not look like you think. This is who Muhammad saw.

2 Corinthians 11:14: And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.

This is Satan in more detail. Satan was Lucifer before he fell.

Hi donal, we’ve been over all of this before. Read through the discussion here to refresh your memory.

donal, “great babylon is a city (not teaching/doctrine)”

As we all know, Satan does everything in his power to counterfeit, corrupt and conceal truth. As noted in my Mark of the Beast article, the Church of God — the assembly of His people — is called the “Ekklesia” in Scripture and in terms of location is identified with Jerusalem spiritually, the epicenter of the Judeo-Christian faith. If the “Bride” of Christ is identified and associated with the city of “Jerusalem” (Rev. 21:9-10, “… I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb’s wife… and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God”) then it only stands to reason that Satan’s counterfeit of the Church — the “Babylonian Harlot” — would also be associated with a city of her own. From the preponderance of the evidence that we are given throughout Scripture, the desert “harlot” identified by John in Revelation 17 is associated with the epicenter of Islam itself. Whereas the Judeo-Christian faith arose out of and looks toward Jerusalem, Islam arose out of and looks toward the city of Mecca, the spiritual homestead of the “Ummah” (the Muslim world). And if the “Judeo-Christian Bride” of Scripture is also defined as the “Body of Christ”, whose body does the antithetical “Babylonian Harlot” make?

donal, “great babylon claimed not a widow (so she still married), the concept god bride only exist in christianity not islam”

The false Islamic “church” (Ummah) claims to believe in Jesus Christ (as a prophet and not in His death and resurrection) and claims to be the people of God. From a Biblical standpoint, and in the eyes of God, she is replacing the Church — the Bride of Christ — with herself. Muslims have no idea what they are doing from a Biblical perspective. For instance, they claim that the Kaaba they bow down to every day is not idol worship, but according to Biblical Scripture they are committing blatant idolatry.

donal, “claiming muslim will attack mecca is out of logic”

Read your Bible, donal. The Islamic Republic of Iran will one day destroy Mecca:

Isaiah 21:1-2, “An oracle concerning the Desert by the Sea: Like whirlwinds sweeping through the southland, an invader comes from the desert, from a land of terror. A dire vision has been shown to me: The traitor betrays, the looter takes loot. Elam, attack! Media, lay siege! I will bring to an end all the groaning she caused.”

The “Desert by the Sea” is a reference to modern day Saudi Arabia. According to the prophet Isaiah, Elam and Media will destroy her. Elam and Media is today the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Here are a few recent headlines:

    * Iran: Saudi Arabia Is ‘The Enemy Of Islam’ And Must Be Destroyed

    * Walid Shoebat: Iran Will Obtain Nuclear Weapons, Will Destroy Saudi Arabia

    1. rev 21 city of jerusalem is people/believer, while great babylon is city because it is interpretation from angel, you shouldn’t interpret what already interpretation.

    2. no muslim ever consider themselves as bride of lamb only christian. this great babylon claimed to be not widow or a wife so she must be christian (unfaithful).

    3. i don’t think isaiah 21 is about saudi, maybe is about fall of babylon kingdom from persian invasion (bear invade lion – daniel 7). if you think they will attack mecca/saudi then let us wait for that to happen but my interpretation the beast/islam attacking rome/europe is in progress now

i’m sorry my friend but to see which one is correct we must wait until it happened otherwise it is just interpretation. although i prefer mecca also destroyed (as retaliation) if they destroy rome.

donal, ” rev 21 city of jerusalem is people/believer, while great babylon is city because it is interpretation from angel, you shouldn’t interpret what already interpretation.”

Hi donal, the new Jerusalem is also called a city as well:

Revelation 21:2, “And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.”

donal, “no muslim ever consider themselves as bride of lamb only christian. this great babylon claimed to be not widow or a wife so she must be christian (unfaithful).”

Muslims consider themselves as the only true faithful followers of the God of Heaven whom they identify as Allah. Since we know that Muslims are not the true followers of God and that Allah is not the God of Heaven (but rather the one who was cast out), it therefore matters not what Muslims “consider themselves” to be. What matters is what God considers them to be, and God considers the people of Islam to be a spiritual prostitute. Whereas Scripture likens those who follow after the Lamb as Christ’s bride, Scripture likens those who follow after the Beast as Satan’s harlot.

donal, “i don’t think isaiah 21 is about saudi, maybe is about fall of babylon kingdom from persian invasion (bear invade lion – daniel 7). if you think they will attack mecca/saudi then let us wait for that to happen but my interpretation the beast/islam attacking rome/europe is in progress now”

Where in Scripture do we read about the Beast attacking Rome/Europe? That isn’t written anywhere in Scripture in any way, shape or form. When we boil that idea down, it is evident that it exceeds what is written in the text. Do you believe that it is ok to exceed what is written in scripture?

donal, “i’m sorry my friend but to see which one is correct we must wait until it happened otherwise it is just interpretation.”

What I’ve shared is interpretation based upon what is written in Scripture. The idea that somehow Rome or Roman Catholicism is in view in Revelation is a nonsensical and eisegetical reading of the text, IMHO. There is nothing I can find to convince me that Rome/Roman Catholicism is anywhere in view, but there is plenty convincing me that it isn’t.

the great babylon claimed to be married (not widow) but we all know that the wedding not happened yet (second coming). but there are people that consider him/herself married to god (and not having physical married) they are priest/nun. angel said babylon is a city and there is only one city that considered city of priest that is vatican rome.

SHOCK: Justin Trudeau appoints Muslim supremacist as junior foreign minister

Justin Trudeau just appointed Omar Alghabra to be the Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Foreign Affairs. This is a shocking and dangerous development:

    1. Saudi-born Alghabra used to run the Canadian Arab Federation, an explicitly anti-Semitic organization;

    2. Alghabra publicly declared that Hamas and Hezbollah were not terrorist groups, and should not be criminalized;

    3. He opposed Canada’s no-fly list. And, curiously, American agents once refused to let him board a plane to the U.S.

    4. Alghabra has repeatedly condemned Israel as a “brutal” country, has lobbied Canadian political leaders to boycott Israel, and has even tried to foment the boycott of pro-Israel events in Canada.

And there’s more. What’s even scarier is that, as the Parliamentary Secretary in charge of consular affairs, Alghabra may have a role in determining which Muslim migrants are being brought to Canada by the thousand. Will he turn a blind eye to extremists like him?

This is a deeply concerning development. And it’s concrete proof that Justin Trudeau intends to dramatically change Canada’s principled foreign policy — moving us away from the pro-Israel, anti-terrorist position developed by Stephen Harper, and taking us in dangerous new directions, such as embracing Iran.

The scalpel of political correctness has lobotomized yet another ignorant, liberal “leader.” If letting in Muslim migrants is translating into more Islamic terror in the West, then it seems to me that Islam just might actually have something to do with Islamic terrorism after all. In today’s harsh world, the sad reality is that there is only one way to absolutely prevent Islamic terrorists from migrating to any country, and it involves barring immigrants of a particular religious persuasion.

Seven “eras” or seven “attitudes”? What happened to the seven churches in Asia Minor we read about in Scripture? Hint: It has something to do with Islam.

donal, “babylon said i’m a queen not a widow – how can muslim saying this if they don’t have bride of lamb doctrine ??? … the great babylon claimed to be married …”

You’re misreading the text. She does not claim to be “married” anywhere in Scripture. The text calls her a “prostitute” and not a “wife.” (If she’s “married” to anything it would be to nothing but her own false religion, and that’s something that the “harlot” will never divorce herself from).

Furthermore, in Scripture a “widow” (almanah) is defined as a woman who was once married and now has no means to support herself financially, becoming dependent upon others. This is obviously not the case here, where the harlot “glorified herself and lived luxuriously” (18:7). This is why she views herself as a “queen” and not as a “widow” who will see sorrow.

donal, “how can someone say i’m mathematician if he didn’t understand number/calculation”

widow means a woman who has lost her spouse by death and not remarried

not widow means her husband wasn’t death (still married). she committed adultery while her husband still alive. use your logic.

well we have different interpretation regarding 7 churches.

    – there are 2 symbols here babylon and the beast if the woman were muslim and beast muslim why describe them with 2 symbols??
    – satan follower committed “adultery” each other why god complaint ???
    – why complaint about prostitution if they were satan follower ???
    – use your logic

it is logical to think that the woman was christian but then she commit adultery with satan follower so god called her prostitute.

donal, “widow means a woman who has lost her spouse by death and not remarried not widow means her husband wasn’t death (still married). she committed adultery while her husband still alive.”

You’re looking at this only from a Western mindset. The term “almanah” (widow) does not simply refer to a woman who has lost her husband through death. It refers to a woman who cannot support herself financially because she has either lost her husband through death or because her husband was captured by the enemy (read more here). Furthermore, Scripture is not saying that the Great Harlot of Revelation 17 and 18 is “married” but is rather telling us that, while prostituting herself with the kings of the earth, she has the audacity to glorify herself as royalty and is gloating over her luxuries. And this is not something that a widow does. Because of her arrogance, she therefore does not view herself as a widow, which is to say, dependent upon a husband/male. The Prophet Isaiah likens her to a “mistress of kingdoms” (Isaiah 47:5, ESV) which is a fitting description since she “prostitutes” herself to the kings of the earth (Revelation 17:2, 18:3). Isaiah likewise points out that she says in her heart “I shall not sit as a widow” (Isaiah 47:8) but that when her judgment comes this is indeed what she will be like (47:9). Remember, there is a difference between what something is, and what something is like.

donal, “there are 2 symbols here babylon and the beast if the woman were muslim and beast muslim why describe them with 2 symbols??”

How can Christ be both a lamb and a lion? Something can be described in different ways to focus on distinct aspects of one subject. Scripture describes the Harlot as riding the Beast (Revelation 17:3) yet it also describes her as sitting on “many waters” (17:1). “The waters which you saw, where the harlot sits, are peoples, multitudes, nations, and tongues” (17:15). We are seeing the radical empire/Beast of Islam (which she is responsible for) turning on the “woman” today. Every day, Islamic terrorists in and around the Islamic world are killing its fellow Muslims at an unprecedented rate. Since the creation of Israel in 1948 alone, over 10 million Muslims have been slaughtered by Islamic fundamentalists, and they have their eyes set upon the “corrupt” House of Saud. Many Islamists view Saudi Arabia as being in league with the “evil” West, and in league Israel. When they come against Mecca the harlot will indeed be made desolate and burned with fire (Rev 17:16). And the stage is nearly set for all that is written to be fulfilled. See links above in previously reply regarding Iran, for example.

donal, “satan follower committed “adultery” each other why god complaint ??? – why complaint about prostitution if they were satan follower ???”

    I don’t understand your question/point. Please rephrase.

donal, “it is logical to think that the woman was christian but then she commit adultery with satan follower so god called her prostitute.”

Per your previous reply, you believe that she is a “widow” and you defined a “widow” as a woman whose husband had died. We are Christians because Christ is alive. Logically, if she was once Christian then she would have been bethrothed/married to Christ. But since Christ is alive forevermore (Revelation 1:18), what does that tell you?

The terms used to describe her in Revelation 17 and 18 are not describing what she is, but rather what she is like. The Holy Spirit inspired John to write it that way because in the eyes of God this is how the Babylonian harlot presents herself, not as a woman who will mourn like a widow in need of help and protection, but as a queen.

donal, “your picturing pm canada (christian liberal) pray at mosque and christian woman claimed love quran…..they are the babylon prostitute … great babylon are christians who commit “adultery” with muslim/infidel.”

Revelation 18 is referring to Isaiah 47 and Zechariah 5. If the “woman” of Babylon who sees herself as a queen and not a widow in Isaiah 47 (and Zechariah 5) is not referring to Christians (obviously), then how can it suddenly be referring to Christians in Revelation 18? In your view it has to refer to Christians, otherwise your position crumbles. The PM of Canada and leaders like him are not the Babylonian prostitute. They are committing “adultery” with her. The kings of the earth commit adultery with the harlot, not with themselves.

donal, “please explain why god called them prostitute ?”

Per the OP, Revelation uses Old Testament language, and in the Old Testament the Hebrew word for “fornication” was often used figuratively in the context of idolatry and being unfaithful to God. She is called a “harlot” or “prostitute” because she is prostituting/seducing/deceiving the world with her false religion and causing many to be unfaithful to God (cf. Revelation 2:14 and 2:20).

donal, “i never said babylon is a widow….i said she claimed not a widow means her husband still alive while she committing adultery.”

Scripture doesn’t say that she is “married.” But if, for the sake of argument, she is “married” and if she as a “queen” is deceived into believing that she will live forever and never mourn like a widow (18:7), then who would her “king” be? As “a dwelling place of demons” (18:2) there can only be one answer. Her “king” would have to be “the angel from the bottomless pit; his name in Hebrew is Abaddon, and in Greek, Apollyon — the Destroyer” (Revelation 9:11). And wouldn’t you know it — “The Destroyer” just so happens to be one of the names of Islam’s deity, Allah. Coincidence?

you claimed the muslim are babylon but you forgot that many hate muslim now because of terrorism issues in fact muslim engaging war against almost all religion while babylon harlot loved by many and because she loved by many they willing to doing business even share her view (adultery)

the muslim are antichrist follower because of them the babylon called prostitute. they called themselves liberal and tried to force their view to public (example no christian symbol in pubic area or no religion teach in public school), their non fanatic view, tolerance, very friendly with high moral (no need god to become good civilian), they said insulting god is part freedom of speech. in order to live in peace they allow syncretism and look they loved by many, soon you will see liberal pope.

you show their/babylon picture/photo but somehow you fail to identify them….sad

not many respect muslim these days so it is obvious they are not the great babylon.

babylon married to allah means muslim married to allah ?? no such concept exist in islam, i’m sorry but this is hilarious…you assumed to much my friend

donal, “you forgot that many hate muslim now because of terrorism issues in fact muslim engaging war against almost all religion while babylon harlot loved by many”

Hi donal, many hate Roman Catholicism because of any number of reasons as well. That being said, where do you read in Scripture that the Babylonian harlot will be “loved by many”? Knowing that she evidently loves herself, it seems to me that the only one who will truly love the harlot are those who are of the harlot. We see the kings of the earth who committed spiritual “fornication” with the harlot lamenting and mourning for her after she has been destroyed, perhaps because of the certain financial devastation that their own merchants are sure to suffer (as well as themselves) but this doesn’t mean that they “loved” her, though it doesn’t preclude it either. They could also be weeping because they now fear their own judgment. We know from the text that the merchants are evidently mourning because they can no longer sell their goods to her and may now have their own myriad of issues to worry about. “The merchants who became wealthy by selling her these things will stand at a distance, terrified by her great torment.” (Rev 18:15).

donal, “you show their/babylon picture/photo but somehow you fail to identify them….sad”

Scripture already identifies who she is for us. Again, please read Isaiah 47 and Zechariah 5 and Revelation 17-18, but this time read it three times and try to read it with a clear mind, without the assumption that she is somehow a reference to the Roman Catholic church. It will begin to sink in, Donal, but you will have to do what all good Bereans must do — search the Scriptures and unlearn any false teachings that you’ve been indoctrinated with.

donal, “not many respect muslim these days so it is obvious they are not the great babylon.”

I can’t tell if you’re joking or not, but I have to assume you weren’t serious with that statement. The West bends over backwards for every perpetually offended Muslim that raises their hand and cringes any time someone dares to suggest that Islam has anything to do with Islamic terrorism. The West does not placate to Christian/Roman Catholic sensitivities anywhere near the way they do with Islam.

donal, “babylon married to allah means muslim married to allah ?? no such concept exist in islam”

It doesn’t have to. Try to view Islam through the lens and the authority of Biblical Scripture, not through the lens of Islamic doctrine. It will help, if you let it.

woman isaiah 47 and rev 18 are not same. isaiah 47 virgin daughter while rev 18 is a prostitute, isaiah 47 talking about dethrone of queen of babylon while rev 18 about total destruction. isaiah 47 was talking about fall of babylon by persian army and already fulfilled
clearly we both can’t compromise about this.

so far there are 3 interpretations about rev 17-18
    1. the beast is rome and the babylon is vatican rome. 10 european nations will attack babylon/vatican
    2. the beast is muslim and the babylon is muslim. muslim will attack mecca
    3. the beast is muslim and the babylon is vatican/rome. muslim will attack vatican

Hi donal, the term “virgin” is an idiom used to denote the fact that Babylon’s sins had not yet been exposed and that she had not been punished, but the Lord declares that a time is coming when she would indeed be exposed/uncovered (Isaiah 47:3) and suffer Divine judgment. Isaiah’s prophecy says that she would be punished and become like a widow “in a moment, in one day” (47:9), just like John’s prophecy in Revelation (18:8). Ancient Babylon’s decline, however, was gradual and took place over hundreds of years and did not fulfill Isaiah’s prophecy. Furthermore, let’s note the parallels below:

    * The “woman” of Babylon in Isaiah says “I will be a queen forever” (47:7).
    * The “woman” of Babylon in Revelation says “I sit enthroned as queen … I will never mourn” (18:7).

    * The “woman” of Babylon in Isaiah says “I will never be a widow” (47:8).
    * The “woman” of Babylon in Revelation says “I am no widow” (18:7).

    * The “woman” of Babylon in Isaiah suffers immediately, “desolation shall come upon you suddenly” (47:11) and her “nakedness shall be uncovered” (47:3).
    * The “woman” of Babylon in Revelation will be made “desolate and naked” (17:16).

    * The “woman” of Babylon in Isaiah would never be able to do business with merchants again (47:15).
    * The “woman” of Babylon in Revelation would never be able to do business with merchants again (18:11).

    * The “woman” of Babylon in Isaiah will be burned with “fire” (47:14-15).
    * The “woman” of Babylon in Revelation will be burned with “fire” (17:16, 18:18).

    * The destruction of the “woman” of Babylon in Isaiah will be final, for “there is not one that can save you” (47:15).
    * The destruction of the “woman” of Babylon in Revelation will be final, “For in one hour she is made desolate” (18:19).

donal, “so far there are 3 interpretations about rev 17-18

    2. the beast is muslim and the babylon is muslim. muslim will attack mecca
    3. the beast is muslim and the babylon is vatican/rome. muslim will attack vatican”

According to the preponderance of the evidence, the Beast is Muslim, which will turn on the Muslim “harlot.” Here are three articles for your consideration:

Article: The Islamic Republic of Iran is against Saudi Arabia – “As for the Gulf countries – particularly Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Kuwait and Bahrain – they have been living under the threat of a possible Iranian attack for decades, even during the days of the Shah. Now, after the nuclear agreement, there’s no doubt that the threat has doubled. There is palpable anger toward the acquiescing Obama administration as Gulf countries feel that, despite the pledges they have upheld with the U.S., he sold out the region on the cheap and left them to confront their fate vis-à-vis Iran.” (Read more).

Article: Mecca, The Pride Of The Muslims, Will Be Destroyed By The Muslims Themselves – “In the Middle East, everything could turn on a dime. Who would have imagined that powers such as Turkey and Iran, which both recognized Israel soon after it declared independence in 1948 would become now two of its arch enemies, while Arab states who were Israel’s arch enemies have come to realize that Israel is no longer their primary concern, but Iran is? … Saudi Arabia and Israel both feel betrayed by the current negotiations underway between Obama and Iran, and both feel they need to make alternative plans to cope with what both view as an existential threat to both of there existence.” (Read more).

Article: Unlocking Mystery Babylon The Mother Of Harlots And Her Relation To Arabia – “For many years, the teaching that the Harlot of Revelation is Rome or the Catholic Church has reigned within many Protestant circles. Today, most Western Analysts have diverged from this theory, and rightly so. Yet the problem of searching for alternatives leaves many in the dark – most Western Analysts are looking for a global Harlot that combines all religious systems and is political in nature, like Rome was. Yet neither Rome nor this “combination universal religion” Harlot conforms to many of the basic Scriptural descriptions of the Harlot. I have compiled seven reasons to prove this point. The Harlot described in the Bible must be in Arabia.” (Read more).

    Hope this helps …
