American Pastor Getting Death Threats From ISIS Terrorists

By Gene Kapp, Charisma News – “Pastor Saeed Abedini is now facing new death threats from ISIS terrorists who are being held in the same Iranian prison where he is being detained, the American Center for Law and Justice (ACLJ) reported Wednesday.

Abedini has been able to communicate to family members and let them know that he fears for his life after he was told the ISIS prisoners plan to murder him because of his Christian faith.

‘This is an extremely dangerous development that puts Pastor Saeed’s life at grave risk,’ says Jay Sekulow, chief counsel of the ACLJ, which represents Pastor Saeed’s wife, Naghmeh, and their two children living in the U.S. ‘Not only is Pastor Saeed facing threats from Iranian militants who have imprisoned him because of his Christian faith, he now faces new and perhaps even more dangerous threats from Iraqi ISIS prisoners who want to murder Pastor Saeed because of his faith.

‘ISIS’ is an acronym for Islamic State of Iraq and Syria–the two countries where the ruthless offshoot of al-Qaeda have been most active–but the group sometimes is called ‘Islamic State’ for short.

‘We call on President Obama and Secretary Kerry to intervene immediately to secure Pastor Saeed’s release and to ensure that he is protected during this transfer to freedom,’ continues Sekulow. ‘Pastor Saeed, who is approaching his second year of imprisonment in Iran, must be returned to his family without delay.’

Abedini, who continues to suffer from injuries sustained at the hands of his captors, revealed to family members this week that Iraqi ISIS members are now being held in Rajai Shahr Prison—in the same prison ward where he is. Other prisoners have told Abedini that—if ISIS prisoners have the opportunity—they intend to murder Abedini because of his Christian faith.

Abedini has told family members that he is currently in a separate section of the ward—removed from the ISIS terrorists—but is concerned that he will be subjected to the general prison population—including the ISIS terrorists—during a brief, daily exercise period in the prison yard. Abedini has said he will not leave his prison cell to go to the prison yard for fear of his safety.” Read more.

By Bethany Blankley, Christian Post – “Not a day goes by without newscasters, commentators, or social media chatter using the phrases, ‘a faction of radical Islamists,’ or ‘Islam is a peaceful religion.’ Because the majority of Americans include the non-religious and self-identifying Christians who know little to nothing about Christianity, it’s not surprising that these statements go largely unchallenged.

Americans know little to nothing about Islam. Few non-Muslims have read the Qur’an or the Hadith. If they had, they would know Islam is neither peaceful nor a religion as the West defines either of these terms.

The Qur’an, unlike the Bible, was written by one man, Muhammad, over the course of his lifetime. Knowing what and when text was written is essential. Passages written later supersede passages written earlier. Because the ‘peaceful’ or ‘tolerant’ passages of the Qur’an are in the beginning and the violent and ‘intolerant’ passages are written later, the latter are prioritized.

While many people proof-text the Bible, picking and choosing texts to justify an argument, the Qur’an cannot be misinterpreted in that way. Muhammad’s commands are to be taken literally. The Qur’an’s syntax and epistemology do not include parables, anthropomorphic analogies or symbolism, phonology, morphology, poetry, hymnic, apocalyptic or wisdom literature as found in the Bible. Muhammad explicitly states that no Muslim can alter or ignore any part of his clear and direct commands. If they do, he warns they will burn in torment forever.

Muhammad’s commands refer interchangeably to Islam and Shari’a Law. They are one in the same and are considered the law of Allah. Shari’a ideology outlines a very specific and mandatory legal and political plan to infiltrate every area of society. It is a Muslim’s duty to convert all governments to Shari’a Law.

Islam, a totalitarian system, orders religious worship, financial transactions and contracts, morality, philosophical and other beliefs, and criminal and civil law. Under Shari’a, drinkers, gamblers, and unmarried sexual partners must be whipped, and domestic violence, child marriage, and honor killings are supported. Shari’a exacts equal punishment against a perpetrator; such as requiring the cutting off of a thief’s hand, or killing an adulterous wife. Gay, lesbian, bi-sexual and transgender people must all be executed.

As Belgian leader Abu Imran explains, ‘democracy is the opposite of Islam. A Muslim who supports democracy is equivalent to a Jewish Muslim. It’s impossible to be both Jewish and Muslim and impossible to be a Muslim against Shari’a.’

By AFP, Arutz Sheva Staff – “Police in the Muslim-majority country of Malaysia are investigating a Malaysian teenager for ‘sedition,’ after he ‘liked’ a pro-Israel Facebook post.

The 17-year-old student in the northern state of Penang ‘liked’ a post that read ‘I love Israel,’ and featured a picture of the Jewish state’s flag, Penang police chief Abdul Rahim Hanafi was quoted as saying Wednesday by Malaysian media.

Abdul Rahim said that under the harsh police crackdown, the student claimed to accidentally clicking ‘like.’ Sedition charges can hold a three-year jail sentence in the Muslim-majority nation.

On the other hand, police also are investigating death threats made against the student. In response to the threatening backlash, he has deactivated his Facebook account.

The crackdown on the student comes as inaccurate reporting over Operation Protective Edge in Gaza has led to a dramatic increase in anti-Semitism worldwide, with anti-Semitic incidents in July rising 383% compared to the same month last year according to a recent study.

Osman Hussain, Penang’s state director of education, told AFP on Thursday that he would seek to resolve the incident without police involvement. Speaking about the student, he remarked ‘he is just a student. I will try to solve the issue peacefully.’

The police crackdown has been met with some criticism online, with one reader posting on the popular local news portal Malaysiakini that ‘using the same twisted logic, all Malaysians using Facebook are also committing sedition as Facebook is founded by a Jew.’

Qur’an Sura 5:3, “Forbidden to you (for food) are: dead meat, blood, the flesh of swine, and that on which hath been invoked a name other than that of Allah.”

Many Christians are often unaware of the fact that in order for meat to be considered “Halal” to Muslims the animal must be prepared according to Islamic guidelines, such as reciting a prayer to the Islamic god “Allah” while the animal is ritually slaughtered (cf. Qur’an Sura 5:3). According to Biblical Scripture, however, all false gods are idols, whether physical or immaterial. Since the god of Islam is a false deity on the grounds of Biblical Scripture, “Allah” is therefore an idol in the eyes of God. Yasmin Jackson, 24, claims staff at Kingswood Daycare Nursery in Mitcham, south London, ‘starved’ her five-year-old daughter Amari over concerns about the meat in her packed lunch.

And police are now investigating possible race and religious offences against the nursery after an online campaign surrounding the incident.

She took Amari to the first day of a summer play scheme at the nursery with a packed lunch on Monday, as instructed by Merton Council.

But when she collected Amari in the afternoon, she found her child hadn’t been allowed to eat the chicken salad sandwich, houmous, carrots and a chocolate bar in her lunch box.

Ms Jackson, a single mother and former nursery worker, said: ‘When I picked her up at the end of the day the first thing she said to me was, “mummy I’m really hungry, can I have my lunch now?”

‘I went to speak to the manager and I said “why wasn’t my daughter allowed her lunch” and she said “we didn’t know it was healthy”.

‘And she said “the form was wrong, you weren’t meant to send a lunch as it is provided here. We gave her a small portion of spaghetti pasta and an apple”.

‘And she said we didn’t know if it’s halal.

‘I said we are a Christian family and it was a chicken sandwich.

‘And she said “we don’t allow any non-halal meat in the nursery”. So I thought “this is just ridiculous”.'” Read more.
