Suicide bomber Moner Mohammad Abu-Salha, a Florida-born college dropout, chewed up his American passport in footage set to Arabic music.

‘You are not safe. I have one word to say,’ the terrorist said, ‘we are coming for you. Mark my words.’

He added: ‘You think you’ve won? You have never won. You will never defeat Islam.’

Abu-Salha, who blew himself to bits detonating a truckload of bombs outside a restaurant in Syria on May 25, invoked the name of 9/11 mass murderer Osama bin Laden, whom US forces wiped out in 2011.

‘You think you killed Osama bin Laden? You sent him to paradise,’ the America-hating terrorist said. ‘Just know that we are coming.’

Abu-Salha told the camera that Americans will be marked for death no matter where they are on Earth.

‘You think you’re safe where you are, in America or Britain or Indonesia or Jordan or China or Russia or Somalia or Africa?’ he said.

The latest footage of Abu-Salha, 22, emerged on an al Qaeda-linked website.

In earlier videos, the misguided bomber said he was looking forward to death and an eternity in heaven.

By Damien Sharkov, Newsweek – “Jewish human rights group the Simon Wiesenthal Center has expressed its shock that protests in support of Islamic terrorist group ISIS have gone undeterred by Dutch authorities in the Hague. Two public rallies, expressing support for ISIS have been held this month, with chants advocating the murder of ‘dirty Jews from the sewers’ heard at both.

The first protest inciting violence towards Jews was held on July 4, while a second went ahead last week, on July 24, Dutch newspaper NL Times reports.

Doctor Shimon Samuels of the Simon Wiesenthal Center addressed a passionate letter to the Dutch prime minister in response to the protests, asking him to rescind approval should a third demonstration of this kind be organised.

‘Yesterday, the call in Arabic and Dutch was for ‘dirty Jews from the sewers to be killed,’’ Samuels told Jewish paper the Algemeiner, a day after the second protest.

‘This rally had little to do with Gaza solidarity. It was unambiguously targeted against Jews, but also according to the Dutch press sought to lynch journalists, who were pulled to safety by the police, otherwise serving as silent spectators.’

Doctor Samuels had initially pleaded to the Mayor of the Hague, Mayor Jozias van Aartsen, to undertake preventative measures to stifle the protest to no success.

‘The Dutch people today, sadly, face two forms of terrorism’, the letter reads. ‘The first from those who brought down the Malaysian aircraft over Ukraine. The second from the potential danger at home from ISIS,’ Samuels wrote.

‘Mr. Mayor, you can stop the second, if you wish. If you do not, you will share responsibility for the consequence.'” Read more.

A young Assyrian Christian woman in Aleppo, Syria, spoke these words to me during a phone call a few days ago. She is stuck in the country with her three small children.

In wake of the ISIS invasion of Iraq, reports (long overdue) are emerging about the persecution of Christians and other minorities in the country. Yet ISIS is committing the same atrocities against non-Muslims in Syria, too.

Mosul, Iraq’s second-largest city, has been emptied of almost all Christians. Ten days ago, ISIS – who now call themselves the Islamic State (IS) – distributed fliers to Christians that read: ‘Convert, Pay Jizya, Leave or Die.’

The Christians fled in droves before the Saturday deadline for their decision.

The scant few who remained were weak, old or injured and could not flee. A man who lost his leg in a bombing a couple of days prior to the deadline was forced to convert to Islam at gunpoint, according to his relatives.

Aleppo, Syria’s largest city, also has been nearly emptied of Assyrians, Armenians and other non-Muslims.

These are the words spoken to me by the father of the three children stuck with their mother in another phone call: ‘It’s happening right in front of their eyes and no one is lifting a finger to stop it. Please be our voice, we beg you — make them do something to save us from being slaughtered.’

The husband has fled to Sweden. He had a plan of bringing his family later. But for now, he has left them behind, and they are in severe danger.

After our conversation, I thought at first, what kind of man is he to leave his family behind? Then I realized I’ve interviewed thousands of refugees who have been similarly deserted in countries like China, Thailand, Chad, or have had friends and family who have drowned in their attempts to flee. The Sydney Morning Herald – “Turkey’s Deputy Prime Minister has sparked outcry by declaring women should not laugh loudly in public.

Bulent Arinc, one of the co-founders of the ruling Islamic-rooted Justice and Development Party (AKP), made the comment on Monday while lamenting the moral decline of modern society.

‘A man should be moral but women should be moral as well, they should know what is decent and what is not decent,’ Mr Arinc said in a speech in the western Bursa region for the Bayram holiday that marks the end of Ramadan, the holy month of fasting for Muslims.

‘She should not laugh loudly in front of all the world and should preserve her decency at all times,’ he added.

Turkish women took to social media in droves to denounce the comments, posting pictures of themselves deliriously laughing under the hashtags #kahkaha (#laughter) and #direnkahkaha (#resistlaughter) which have now gone viral.

The ruling AKP is accused by critics of seeking to erode Turkey’s strict separation of religion and state – the basis of the secular republic founded by Mustafa Kemal Ataturk.
