Does The Death Of Ariel Sharon Mean The Return Of Jesus Is Suddenly Immiment?
It is my view that there is more that must happen before the Second Advent, so I wouldn’t say that Christ’s return is “imminent” in the sense that He can now come at any moment, at least not yet. But I will say “soon” …
Matthew 24:29-30, “Immediately after the tribulation of those days … they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory…”
WND – “Former Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon has finally died, and now the prophetic significance of his passing will be the broadcast across America and the world tonight.
Pastor and author Carl Gallups will be on the popular radio program ‘Coast to Coast AM’ late Monday night and early Tuesday morning to discuss the astonishing Sharon factor in his revelatory new book ‘The Rabbi Who Found Messiah: The Story of Yitzhak Kaduri and His Prophecies of The Endtime.’
Gallups will discuss the book with ‘Coast to Coast’ host George Noory for two hours, starting at 1 a.m. Eastern/10 p.m. Pacific. He will answer the toughest questions the book has raised and will explain what the book might tell readers about the end times mentioned in the Bible.
Gallups will also discuss the WND Films production of ‘The Rabbi Who Found Messiah,’ a documentary detailing his investigation into the story of Yizhak Kaduri.
Coast to Coast AM, or ‘C2C’ as it’s often called, has more than 500 affiliates reaching up to 5 million Americans seven days a week.
Published by WND Books, book ‘The Rabbi Who Found Messiah’ documents one of the great mysteries of our time.
When Sharon still was in office, vibrant and in command of his faculties, a venerated rabbi predicted the Messiah would not come until after Sharon’s death.
Rabbi Yitzhak Kaduri died shortly after the stroke Sharon suffered put him in a coma in 2006. But before the beloved Kaduri died, he wrote a cryptic note in which he named the Messiah with whom he claimed to have had a mystical encounter. On the 108-year-old rabbi’s instructions, the note would be released a year after his death.
The note, when posted eventually on the rabbi’s website, showed Kaduri had revealed the Messiah’s name as Yehoshua, or the formal Hebrew pronunciation of Yeshua, or Jesus.
As a result of this unusual prophetic twist and the recent release of a book and movie about the life and death of Kaduri, the death of Sharon has renewed interest in Christian and prophecy circles around the world.” Read more.
The Revelation of Jesus Christ and the Rapture of the Church – “[W]hen many Christians read about the timing of the ‘rapture’ at the ‘last trump’ they are either unaware, or because of an already preconceived assumption on this very subject, refuse to even consider if the ‘last trumpet’ of 1 Corinthians 15:52 is a direct reference to the 7th and last trumpet that John describes in the 10th chapter of Revelation. But why? Admittedly, even I was not aware of the significance of Revelation 10 for many years, but am now more than convinced that we can corroborate through the context of text that this is indeed the last trumpet that the Apostle Paul wrote about to the church in Corinth. For a moment, if you will, toss aside any preconceptions you may have on the timing of the rapture and approach the text as if it were for the first time. Approach it with the heart of a Berean so that together we may search the Scriptures.” Read more.
Diving Into Scripture: The Pre-Tribulation Paradox – “The Apostle Paul was very careful to explain to us that at Christ’s return those who have died in Him are resurrected first, and then we who are alive and remain will be caught up together with them. The obvious question that we must therefore ask is, ‘When does the resurrection of the dead in Christ happen?’ The answer, which many refuse to acknowledge, is given to us by John in Revelation 20:4-5: The dead in Christ who rise first are caught up in the First Resurrection … after the tribulation. The logical implications of the plain and straightforward teaching of the text are therefore undeniable: If the First Resurrection is after the tribulation then there can be no resurrection before the end of the tribulation, and if there is no resurrection before the end of the tribulation then there is therefore no rapture before the end of the tribulation. It is impossible…” Read more.
Iowa Church ‘Dialogue On Islam’ Ignores Muslim Persecution Of Christians
Just like most Christian churches in the West …
1 Timothy 4:1, “Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons …”
Ephesians 5:11, “Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them.”
2 Corinthians 6:14b-15a, “… For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness? What harmony is there between Christ and Belial?”
By Robert Spencer, Jihad Watch – “Sessions like these usually feature a smiling, soft-spoken local imam, but this one seems to be conducted solely by an academic who appears to be non-Muslim. Nonetheless, whenever people start talking about ‘misconceptions’ of Islam in contexts like this, they mean, ‘You see Islamic jihadists justifying violence and terror by referring to Islamic texts and teachings, but don’t believe your lying eyes. Believe me when I tell you that Islam teaches peace and those jihadists are misunderstanders of Islam. Only racists and bigots think there is a jihad threat, or that counter-terror operations are needed.’
However, the worst part of this is that no mention is made whatsoever of the Muslim persecution of Christians, which is one of those ‘world events’ that ‘play out around the globe’ that make people want to know about Islam in the first place. But we know that there are many Christians who think it best not to speak about such matters, and abandon Christians in Muslim countries to their fate: ‘Talk about extreme, militant Islamists and the atrocities that they have perpetrated globally might undercut the positive achievements that we Catholics have attained in our inter-religious dialogue with devout Muslims.’ — Robert McManus, Roman Catholic Bishop of Worcester, Massachusetts, February 8, 2013
‘Church Dialogue on Islam,’ from CBS2/Fox28, January 12 (thanks to Maxwell):
CEDAR RAPIDS, IA (CBS2/FOX28) – While world events play out around the globe, it can be hard to fully grasp the role that religion plays. One local church is helping people better understand the world around them, but not exclusively through Christianity.“Welcome to Christ Episcopal Church if you’re visiting. This is our Tour of Islam,” said Adult Formation Leader at Christ Episcopal Church Charles Crawley.
Islam is one of the world’s largest religions, accounting for about 20 % of the earth’s population.
But, “people are just trying to understand what it is, because we just don’t have a good basic understanding,” said Crawley.
Kirkwood Professor of Religion Dr. Peter Jauhiainen says people often narrowly define the religion.
“That provides a distorted understanding of what it’s all about,” said Dr. Jauhiainen. So Christ Episcopal Church organized its Tour of Islam. The idea is to help people of all faiths have a better understanding of world events and other religions.
“We, it seems to me, operate on rumors, on information from people who don’t have a complete understanding,” said Doug Anderson.
Those misconceptions can easily affect how we understand the world around us, both past and present.
“The other thing I remember from ’73 is the Arab Oil Embargo. Most of us are old enough to remember 25-cent gas,” said Dr. Jauhiainen.
Organizers say knowing more about our surroundings often leads to knowing more about other people, but simple tolerance isn’t enough.
“Tolerance is lower on the diversity scale if you want to speak that way. But to move to acceptance, approval and affirmation of people that are different than us,” said Crawley.
“I’m more concerned about understanding broad ideas and movements and changing attitudes, that’s more important,” said Dr. Jauhiainen.

Islamists Latest Shocking Brutalisation Of Women
Daniel 11:37a, “Neither shall he regard the God [YHWH] of his fathers [Abraham and Ishmael], nor the desire of women …”
Hadith, Sahih AlBukhari 5196, “[Muhammad said] When I stood on the door of hell, I saw most of its inhabitants were women”
By Raymond Ibrahim, The Commentator – “Massacres, beheadings, rapes and the rest often take place whenever and wherever Islamic jihadis take over. Lesser known but often no less troubling, however, is the aftermath of occupation — the everyday ‘rules’ and laws the jihadis enforce once they’re in charge.
Consider the al-Qaeda-linked Islamic State of Iraq and Levant’s (ISIL) recent occupation of Raqqah, a city in northern Syria. First there was the overt violence. Among other acts of savagery, the jihadi organization attacked two churches — the Church of the Annunciation and the Church of Martyrs — broke their crosses, burned their Bibles, and raised the Islamic flag in triumph.
One video depicts a Muslim ‘freedom fighter’ smashing a Virgin Mary statue to shouts of Islam’s war cry, ‘Allahu Akbar!’
Now consider the rules that organizations like ISIL enforce on those people living in the territories they occupy — that is, the inevitable ‘talibanization’ of societies where Islamic supremacists hold sway.
A Syrian news clip recounts the following new laws ISIL promulgated in a statement it issued soon after taking over Raqqah:
- Women are banned from sitting on chairs (as reported verbatim).
- All women are obligated to wear Islamic attire, such as the niqab and burqa (which cover the entire body and face); sweaters, jeans, and makeup of any kind are strictly banned.
- Female clothing is not to be displayed in shop windows, and only women are allowed to work there; if a man is found on the grounds the shop faces closure.
- Women are banned from seeing male gynecologists (thus severely hampering their ability to see doctors, most of whom are men in Syria).
- Smoking—cigarettes, water pipes, etc.—is banned. Violators could face the death penalty; shops found selling cigarettes are to be burned to the ground.
- All barbershops are to be closed down and men forbidden from having short hair, wearing modern hairstyles or using hair products; men are also forbidden from wearing low-waist jeans.
- Anyone who uses the word ‘Daash’ (an Arabic acronym for the Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant in Arabic) will receive 70 whippings; the organization is to be referred to by its proper name.
The punishments are indeed severe: swindling taxi drivers face repercussions ranging from chopped hands to chopped heads; the reason cited is that their swindling may somehow interfere with a passenger’s worship (e.g., a Muslim seeking to go to mosque at the proper time).
Likewise, shop owners who do not shut down during prayer times must face the consequences.
All this is a reminder that, while the Islamic jihad may lead to brief, spectacular forms of terror — massacres, beheadings, rapes, bombed churches and the like — its aftermath and goal, purportedly the creation of a ‘perfect Islamic society,’ is ‘spectacular’ in its own way, especially for women, who become virtually invisible members of society.” Source – The Commentator.
Bangladesh: Islamists Kill Young Christian Man Who Spoke Against Anti-Christian Violence
Islam is the “Religion of Peace.” If you say otherwise they just might kill you. For peaceful purposes …
Qur’an Sura 9:123, “O you who believe! fight those of the unbelievers [non-Muslims] who are near to you and let them find in you hardness …”
2 Timothy 2:3, “Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.”
By Sumon Corraya, AsiaNews – “Islamists murdered Ovidio Marandy, a young ethnic Santhal Catholic man, last Saturday in Gobindoganj, Gaibandha district (northern Bangladesh). His funeral was held today in the Beneedwar parish church.
A native of Beneedwar Parish (Diocese of Rajshahi), the young man was the younger brother of Fr Samson Marandy, a Catholic priest in the Diocese of Dinajpur.
According to his brother and other family members, Muslim radicals wanted to punish the young man, a well-known figure in the local Catholic community, because he had recently organised a demonstration in his village against Islamist violence.
On 5 January, hundreds of Islamic extremists stormed the homes of Christians in the dioceses of Rajshahi and Mymensigh because they had voted in the general election.
‘Ovidio was very brave, and was famous in his community. We are shocked by what happened,’ said Fr Proshanto Gomes, a local priest. ‘Christians have the right to vote. Why are Islamists attacking us? We want peace.'” Source – AsiaNews.
Flashback: Christians And Hindus Live In Fear Following Bangladesh Election – “Religious minorities of Bangladesh lived through Sunday’s general election in fear. The ruling Awami League (AL) won a landslide, a foregone conclusion since the Bangladesh National Party (BNP) and other opposition parties boycotted the poll. Only 20 per cent of voters cast their ballot compared to 70 per cent in 2008. In the past three days, at least 25 people died in clashes between supporters of different camps. Minorities, especially Christians and Hindus, were prevented from exercising their voting rights because of threats from extremists. ‘We didn’t go to the polling centre because some opposition threatened us that if we went to the poll they would attack us …'” Read more.

Christian homes have been torched and churches threatened as increasingly volatile protests have rocked the country. Scores of people have been killed in the clashes, which erupted in February. Every Man’s Hand Against His Brother: Al-Qaeda Islamists In Syria Execute Dozens Of Rival Islamists
The hostility never ends. How could Islam’s most “perfect” man to ever walk the face of the earth leave such a confusingly warped, violent, homicidal, combative, hateful, death-loving “religion” for his followers? Obviously, the problem lies in the nonsensical belief that Mohammed was who he claimed to be …
Genesis 16:11-12, “The angel of the LORD also said to her: ‘You are now pregnant and you will give birth to a son. You shall name him Ishmael, for the LORD has heard of your misery. He will be a wild donkey of a man; his hand will be against everyone and everyone’s hand against him, and he will live in hostility toward all his brothers.'”

By Elad Benari, INN – “The Al-Qaeda-linked Islamist State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIS) has executed dozens of rival Islamists over the last two days, activists told Reuters on Sunday.
The executions took place as the group recaptured most territory it had lost in the northeastern Syrian province of Raqqa, according to the activists.
One of the activists, who spoke from the province on condition of anonymity, said that up to 100 fighters from the Nusra Front, another Al-Qaeda affiliate, and the Ahrar al-Sham brigade, captured by ISIS in the town of Tel Abyad on the border with Turkey, the nearby area of Qantari and the provincial capital city of Raqqa, were shot dead.
There was no independent confirmation of the report.
‘About 70 bodies, most shot in the head, were collected and sent to the Raqqa National hospital,’ the activist told Reuters.
‘Many of those executed had been wounded in the fighting. The fact that Nusra Front and Ahrar al-Sham are ideologically similar to the ISIS did not matter,’ he added.
In recent days, the fighting between ISIS and other Syrian rebels has escalated. Earlier Sunday it was reported that close to 500 people had been killed in the fighting between rival groups.
Three powerful rebel alliances – among them Islamist groups – have teamed up to fight ISIS, which they have warned is worse than Bashar Al-Assad’s regime.
The fact that ISIS executed rivals it caught should come as no surprise. The group has been accused of several human rights abuses, including torturing and murdering prisoners, among them children and teenagers, and forcing Druze men to convert to Islam or die.” Read more.

But it’s much more than that: it is rapidly becoming a sectarian struggle for power that is bleeding across the Middle East, with the potential to engulf the entire region in a deadly power struggle between two bitterly opposed Muslim ideologies, Sunni and Shia. Already, the war inside Syria has resulted in 93,000 dead and 1.6 million refugees, with millions more displaced internally. And those figures are escalating rapidly amid reports of appalling atrocities on both sides.” Read more.
The Islamization Of Belgium And The Netherlands In 2013
Proverbs 22:24-25, “Make no friendship with a man given to anger, nor go with a wrathful man, lest you learn his ways and entangle yourself in a snare.”

By Soeren Kern, Gatestone Institute – “Belgium and the Netherlands have some of the largest Muslim communities in the European Union, in percentage terms.
Belgium is home to an estimated 650,000 Muslims, or around 6% of the overall population, based on an average of several statistical estimates. The Netherlands is home to an estimated 925,000 Muslims, which also works out to around 6% of the overall population. Within the EU, only France (7.5%) has more Muslims in relative terms.
Belgian and Dutch cities have significant Muslim populations, comprised mostly of Turkish and Moroccan immigrants, as well as a growing number of converts to Islam.
The number of Muslims in Brussels — where roughly half of the number of Muslims in Belgium currently live — has reached 300,000, which means that the self-styled ‘Capital of Europe’ is now one of the most Islamic cities in Europe.
In 2013, Muslims made up approximately 26% of the population of metropolitan Brussels, followed by Rotterdam (25%), Amsterdam (24%), Antwerp (17%), The Hague (14%) and Utrecht (13%), according to a panoply of research.
Not coincidentally, Belgium and the Netherlands have been at the forefront of the debate over Muslim immigration and integration in Europe. What follows is a chronological summary of some of the main stories about the rise of Islam in Belgium and the Netherlands during 2013.
In January, the Belgian branch of the Dutch department store chain HEMA lost a wrongful termination lawsuit filed by a Muslim shop assistant whose contract was not renewed because she refused to stop wearing a hijab, the traditional Islamic headscarf.
The woman, a Belgian convert to Islam, had been employed as temporary sales staff for two months, during which time she wore the hijab at work. But when customers complained, the store manager asked her to remove the headscarf.
After she refused to comply, HEMA declined to extend her contract in sales, but did offer her an alternative job in its warehouse, where she would not have direct contact with clients. She said the alternative job offer was unsatisfactory and then consulted a lawyer.
Lawyers defending the Belgian shop said that to maintain the ‘neutral and discreet image of HEMA, the shop did not want employees wearing any kind of religious symbols.’
But a labor court in the nearby Belgian city of Tongeren ruled that HEMA did not have a clearly stated policy on headscarves and thus had no valid justification to dismiss the woman. The court ordered HEMA to Read more…
UK: Muslim Rapist Tells Victim ‘I’m Muslim And You Must Obey Me’
For peaceful purposes …
Qur’an Sura 4:34a, “Men have authority over women because [Allah] has made the one superior to the other …”
By Hull Daily Mail – “A MAN pinned his girlfriend down and raped her in front of their baby son, and told her she must obey him because he was a Muslim, a court was told.
The Mail has decided not to identify the rapist, who is in his early 20s, so his relationship with his victim can be revealed.
She was 16 when they met, but he began beating her three months into the relationship and raped her at her home in Hull in May last year.
The victim, who gave evidence at Hull Crown Court via video link, said she had not reported the rape at the time because she did not understand such a thing could happen in a relationship.
‘I didn’t understand it was rape at the time,’ she said. ‘I didn’t understand until I told a friend.’
She later said: ‘I thought rape was to go outside and somebody grabs you.’
Defence barrister Mumin Hashim said she must have been traumatised by the attack.
‘I was,’ she said. ‘I was really scared and I was hurt inside. Not physically, it broke my heart because I didn’t think he would do that.’
After the rape, which lasted between 20 and 30 minutes, the man kissed her, told her he loved her, and fell asleep, while she got up to see to the baby, who was crying.
The rapist, who now lives in Buckinghamshire, was also convicted of assault occasioning actual bodily harm after repeatedly banging his partner’s head against the dashboard of a car.
He was also convicted of two other assaults on her.
The court was told that while the teenager was pregnant with their son, he was thousands of miles away marrying his cousin in an arranged marriage in South Asia.
When he returned, he settled in Buckinghamshire and began fortnightly visits to his son and partner in Hull, during which time he also got another woman in Buckinghamshire pregnant.
Mr Hashim asked why, after having time to reflect on the relationship, the victim did not seek help.
She replied with four words: ‘Young and scared. Immature.'” Read more.
