“Apocalyptic???” Are you serious? As I understand it, “HAIL” is often times this large in many parts of the World! Check American weather history. Eight to a hundred years ago, there were numerous “Apocalyptic” storms and flooding of “Biblical” proportions and ALL KINDS OF “Weird” (Ooops! Ran out of “End Times” words) weather.

    “…just sayin’!”

It is simply interesting this storm comes with global warming and the rise of extreme Islam in the last 35 years since the rise of the Mad Mullah’s and fall of rational men like the Shah. Good news is Australia is sitting on 230 billions worth of OIL in the Southern Desert. Therefore she can supply the burgeoning energy needs of China assist Japan dispense with nuclear power till we have achieved nuclear fision or is fusion in any event the one we have not yet perfected. Extreme Islam started in 1979 with the Russian’s trying to bring peace in Afghanistan and the rise of Khomeini each Middle Eastern nation fell one by one. We got Ugly Arafat, followed by numerous terror groups. So yes it is a coincidence or one could say those of us who practice humane religions, even Atheism is preferable to Islam.
