Turkey: PM Erdogan Insults Blacks As State Media Continues Anti-Semitic Campaign

07/08/2013 Leave a comment

Rembember, if the “prophet” of Islam — the most “perfect man” to ever walk the face the earth — was a staunch racist, then any good Muslim would be crazy not to be one, too …

Qur’an Sura 33:21, “Indeed in Allah’s Messenger (Mohammad) you have an excellent example to follow for him who hopes in (meeting with) Allah and the Last Day…”

The Algemeiner – “Not sated by his anti-Semitism, Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan has tried his hand at another form of blatant racism.

In comments made about Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, the leader of the center-left and secular Republican Peoples Party (CHP), Erdoğan declared, ‘Kılıçdaroğlu is striving every bit he can to raise himself from the level of a black person to the level of a white man.’

The comments were made during a weekly meeting of his Justice and Development Party (AKP).

Commentary Magazine, which spotted the report in Turkey’s Gazeticiler online newspaper, notes that ‘President Obama has described Erdoğan as one of the few leaders with whom he has developed bonds of trust,’ calling into question the US’s awareness of how Erdoğan speaks for domestic consumption.

Meanwhile, in keeping with the Turkish government’s anti-Semitic tone that has been on the rise since unrest began in the country May 28th, the website Al-Monitor reports that its coverage of the protests has earned it the label ‘subcontractor of the Zionist lobby‘ by Medyagundem, a website said to be under the control of Turkey’s state-run Sabah daily.

Medyagundem writes: ‘There is a website called Al-Monitor. It is a platform that translates news and comments from Turkish, Arabic, Kurdish, Hebrew and Persian. Obviously, it is a costly operation. You can find local language articles in English on this site. Its selections of news and articles is meticulously made and is highly professional. Its main theme is the news and analysis that will serve the interests of Israel and the global Zionist network.’

‘The site’s stated goal is to tell the Western world about the Middle East. They have only one condition while doing that. Works of anyone who is a sworn enemy of Islamists and conservative administrations and actors are translated immediately into English.’

‘In addition to translations, they also have regular writers. Some of its Turkish writers are interesting. This team that complains about their own country to the West in an Islamophobic, Zionist media organ has not come together by coincidence.’

The author of the Al-Monitor article that addresses the accusation, Cengiz Candar, writes that a list of Turkish writers accompanying the Medyagundem article includes him, ‘someone known as one of the most critical writers against Israel for decades,’ before broaching whether Erdogan’s administration has ‘lost its bearings and [is] heading in a McCarthyist direction.'” Source – The Algemeiner.

The Canadian academic Salim Mansur has claimed, ‘Blacks are viewed by Arabs as racially inferior, and Arab violence against blacks has a long, turbulent record.'” Read more.

They started knocking, they came in saying ‘murtazaka’. They locked my mother inside a toilet. Six of them raped me. They took our belongings and money. My father tried to stop them but they hit him and carried him away.’ That was nearly three weeks ago and she has not seen or heard of her father since.” Read more.

And those figures are escalating rapidly amid reports of appalling atrocities on both sides.” Read more.

‘It’s Time To Get Out’: Jewish Life In Europe Is ‘Dying A Slow Death’

07/08/2013 4 comments

What the article fails to fully address, however, is how or why anti-Semitism and violent acts against Jews in Europe have escalated considerably as of late. One of those reasons is the direct result of Muslim immigration and their leftist enablers

By Raphael Ahren, The Times of Israel – “When Turkey’s Deputy Prime Minister Besir Atalay this week accused the ‘Jewish Diaspora’ of orchestrating anti-government protests in his country, almost the entire Jewish Diaspora was up in arms. Oskar Deutsch, the president of the Vienna community, went so far as to call on the European Union to suspend its accession negotiations with Ankara. But anti-Semitism could also be found last week deep in the European heartland: the editors of Germany’s Süddeutsche Zeitung considered a painting of a ravenous moloch to be the right type of illustration for a story about Israel. Critics pointed out that this might have been a problematic choice, yet the paper initially responded that ‘a hungry monster with horns has nothing to do with anti-Semitic cliches’ (and only later apologized).

Clearly, anti-Semitic tendencies in Europe are alive and kicking. But how widespread, and how grave?

According to one Jerusalem-based researcher, the situation is dire, and he claims to have the numbers to prove it: More than 150 million European adults have anti-Semitic views, he asserts, in that they believe that Israel is waging a war of extermination against the Palestinians. ‘Numerical data from various studies provide evidence that well over 150 million citizens of the European Union embrace a demonic view of Israel,’ Manfred Gerstenfeld, a former chairman of the Jerusalem Center for Public Affairs, writes in his new book, ‘Demonizing Israel and the Jews.’

However high and curiously justified it is, some experts believe the figure might be accurate. Others who contend that Gerstenfeld’s line of argument doesn’t make much sense, scientifically speaking, argue nonetheless that anti-Semitism has become an irreversible trend that will soon make life unbearable for the continent’s remaining Jews. European officials hesitate to comment, though some say they are stunned to hear such a statistic. The EU is currently compiling its first comprehensive study on anti-Semitism, whose preliminary findings show an alarming number of Jews reporting to have been the victims of harassment.

Gerstenfeld, who immigrated to Israel many years ago from the Netherlands, bases his controversial claim mainly on a 2012 study conducted by the University of Bielefeld and published by the German-based Friedrich Ebert Foundation. The study, which surveyed 8,000 people across eight EU member states, found that ‘around 40 percent of respondents in most participating countries affirm the drastic assessment that the Israeli state is conducting a war of extermination against the Palestinians.'” Read more.

Egypt: Muslim Brotherhood Supporters ‘Rage’ Against Christians, ‘Their Priority Was … Establishing An Islamic Caliphate’

07/08/2013 1 comment

By Joseph DeCaro, Worthy News – “Mobs of Muslims enraged over the forceful removal of the Muslim Brotherhood-backed Mohamed Morsi from office have retaliated against Christians across Egypt, according to Morning Star News.

The attacks came as part of nation-wide protests that culminated Friday in what Morsi supporters called a ‘Day of Rage’.

And it was: hours after the Egyptian military announced that it had expelled Morsi and his cabinet from office, reports of attacks against Christians and their properties by Brotherhood supporters began to surface.

The first attack came Wednesday in the village of Delgia where dozens of Morsi supporters attacked Al Eslah Church, looting the building and attacking local Coptic-owned homes; the mob then moved on to St. George Catholic church in Delgia, pelting it with rocks and setting its rectory on fire, according to Morning Star.

Later that same day, Egyptian troops prevented Muslim mobs from attacking both the Church of the Holy Virgin in Marsa Matrouh and the Coptic cathedral in Qena, so the mobs looted local Christian-owned homes and businesses instead.

On Friday, The Egypt Independent reported that after a Muslim was killed in a fight with a Copt in Naga Hassan, west of Luxor, Muslims began looting and burning dozens of Christian-owned homes and businesses, later attacking the Church of the Virgin Mary in downtown Luxor.

Samia Sidhom, managing editor of the Weekly Watani, said attacks by Morsi suppporters came as no surprise.

‘Everyone was expecting they would take their revenge.’

Sidhom said people wanted Morsi out because he was more interested in consolidating the power of his Freedom and Justice Party, a political proxy of the Muslim Brotherhood, than putting Egypt on the path to prosperity.

‘Their priority was not the Egyptian people, but establishing an Islamic caliphate …'” Read more.

Egypt: Military Closes Muslim Brotherhood Headquarters In Cairo After Finding Stockpile Of Weapons Inside

07/08/2013 Leave a comment

Since they planned on using the weapons to maim and even kill for “peaceful purposes”, does that still make the Muslim Brotherhood a “peaceful” organization? …

Middle East Online – “Egypt’s prosecution ordered the closure of the Cairo headquarters of the Muslim Brotherhood’s Freedom and Justice Party after police found weapons inside it on Monday, a security official said.

Police found ‘flammable liquid, knives and arms to be used against the June 30 protests,’ the official said, in reference to demonstrations that saw millions take to the streets to demand the resignation of Islamist president Mohamed Morsi.

Forty-two loyalists of Egypt’s ousted president were killed on Monday while demonstrating against last week’s military coup, triggering an Islamist uprising call and dashing the army’s hopes for an interim civilian administration.

The Muslim Brotherhood, which has led demonstrations against the overthrow of Morsi last Wednesday, said its supporters were ‘massacred’ when police and troops fired on them during dawn prayers outside an elite army headquarters in Cairo.

The military blamed ‘terrorists’ while witnesses, including Brotherhood supporters at the scene, said that the armed forces fired only tear gas and warning shots and that ‘thugs’ in civilian clothes had carried out the deadly shooting.

Prominent liberal leader Mohamed ElBaradei called for an independent inquiry into the bloodshed. Turkey strongly condemned the killings.

The conservative Islamist Al-Nur party, which won almost a quarter of votes in a 2011 parliamentary election and had given its support to the army’s overthrow of Morsi, said it was pulling out of talks on a new government in response to the ‘massacre’.

The bloodshed happened outside the headquarters of the elite Republican Guard, whom the Brotherhood accuses of betraying Morsi.” Read more.

By Nouran El-Behairy, Daily News Egypt – “Al-Qaeda leader Ayman Al-Zawahiri commented on the current events in Egypt in a video released online, in which he criticised Islamists for losing power and not uniting to implement Sharia.

‘The battle isn’t over, it has just started…the Islamic nation should offer victims and sacrifices to achieve what it wants and restore power from the corrupt authority governing Egypt,’ Al-Zawahiri said.

He said that the struggle in Egypt was clear, claiming that secular groups united with the church and empowered by ‘Mubarak’s armed forces’ supported by the West waged a battle against Islamist forces in Egypt that strove to implement Sharia.

He scorned the Supreme Constitutional Court, labelling it a ‘secular’ court.

Al-Zawahiri blamed Islamists for the current political situation, accusing them of praising the armed forces after the revolution and submitting to secular law.” Read more.

Egyptians Against Egyptians: Islamists Call For ‘Intifada’, Accuses Military Of Firing On Demonstrators, 51 Killed, Hundreds Wounded

07/08/2013 Leave a comment

By Robert Tait, The Telegraph – “Pro- and anti-Morsi factions staged competing rallies in Cairo, with those who supported last week’s military intervention attacking US President Barack Obama for his alleged support of the Muslim Brotherhood.

Mr Morsi’s supporters marched on the defence ministry and the Republican Guard headquarters promising to free the former president from detention. But they failed to bring enough people on the streets to pose a threat either to the army or to the dominant anti-Morsi cause in the capital.

‘We will continue our peaceful demonstrations,’ Ahmed Aref, the senior Brotherhood spokesman, told The Daily Telegraph. ‘We are the owners of a just cause. Legitimate rights do not disappear with time. We are facing an enforced disappearance of the legitimate president.’

But there were more dramatic calls for resistance from militant groups.

Salafi Jihad issued a call to ‘intifada’, a ‘clarion call for Islamic revolution’.

‘Anyone who knows an advocate or a sheikh or a revolutionary should call him to urge him to mobilise,’ a statement said.

There has already been an upsurge in militant violence since the generals ousted Mr Morsi, particularly in Sinai, long a hotbed of jihadist activity.

Intelligence reports have warned of a build-up of weapons, some stolen from Gaddafi arms stores in Libya, some headed for Gaza but held up by the block on smugglers’ tunnels.

On Sunday there were reports that gunmen killed a soldier in Sinai. On Friday night, a group of Islamists seized the North Sinai governor’s palace in the Mediterranean town of El Arish, raising the black Islamist flag. Earlier, jihadists attacked military checkpoints, a police station and El Arish airport. Five police and a soldier were killed.” Read more.
