Afghan Cleric Offers $300k Bounty To Kill Anti-Islam Filmmaker, $100k To Kill French Cartoonist Who Insulted Mohammed


By SADAF SHINWARI, Khaama Press – “An Afghan religious cleric announced $300,000 bounty to kill the producer of the American film which insulted prophet Muhammad.

This is the first time Afghan religious clerics jointly announce bounty in a bid to defend insulting the Islamic values.

Anti-Islam film sparked deadly protest across the Muslim countries and the producer of the film was widely criticized for desecrating the Islamic values.

A number of Afghan religious students, clerics and members of the civil society following a demonstration urged to arrest and try the producer of the Anti-Islam film.

Mir Farooq Hussainy a religious cleric in western Herat province of Afghanistan vowed to offer bounty for killing the producer of the Anti-Islam film.

He said the bounty will be collected from the local traders and investors of western Herat province.

Mr. Hussainy also said they are going to pay $100,000 for anyone who is going to kill the cartoonist that insulted prophet Muhammad.” Read more.

Former Pakistani Legislator Offers $200k For Death Of ‘Innocence Of Muslims’ Film Maker – “A former Pakistani legislator has offered a $200,000 bounty for the killing of the maker of the anti-Islam film ‘Innocence of Muslims,’ Nakoula Basseley Nakoula, doubling the reward proposed by another prominent Pakistani last week… Last week, Railways Minister Ghulam Ahmad Bilour offered $100,000 for the death of the controversial movie’s maker – an act that the Islamabad government distanced itself from. Bilour also appealed to al Qaeda and the Taliban to contribute to the pot.” Read more.
