Egypt: Supporters Of Islamist President Begin Crucifying Opponents To Trees, Christians Must ‘Get Out Of Egypt As Soon As Possible’

By Michael Carl – “The Arab Spring takeover of Egypt by the Muslim Brotherhood has run amok, with reports from several different media agencies that the radical Muslims have begun crucifying opponents of newly installed President Mohammed Morsi.

Middle East media confirm that during a recent rampage, Muslim Brotherhood operatives, ‘crucified those opposing Egyptian President Muhammad Morsi naked on trees in front of the presidential palace while abusing others.’

Raymond Ibrahim, a fellow with the Middle East Forum and the Investigative Project on Terrorism, said the crucifixions are the product of who the Middle Eastern media call “partisans.”

‘Arabic media call them ‘supporters,’ ‘followers,’ and ‘partisans’ of the Muslim Brotherhood,’ Ibraham said.

Ibrahim also says the victims can be anyone, including Egyptians and Christians.

‘It’s anyone who is resisting the new government,’ Ibrahim said. ‘In this particular case, the people attacked and crucified were secular protesters upset because of Morsi’s hostile campaign against the media, especially of Tawfik Okasha, who was constantly exposing him on his station, until Morsi shut him down.’

Ibrahim said extra brutality is reserved for Christians, but the crucifixions are because of Islamic doctrine, and are required by the Quran. The time and other details about the crucifixions were not readily available.

Center for Security Policy Senior Fellow Clare Lopez cited chapter and verse from the Quran to explain that crucifixions are not simply normal for Islam; they’re demanded.

‘Crucifixion is a hadd punishment, stipulated in the Quran, Sura 5:33, and therefore an obligatory part of Shariah,’ Lopez said. ‘It’s been a traditional punishment within Islam since the beginning, even though it’s not exclusively Islamic. The Romans used it too.

‘So, the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood haven’t the option to not include crucifixion within their legal code. It’s obligatory to comply with Shariah. And yes, it’s for shock value also to be sure,’ Lopez said.

Lopez includes a warning for Egypt’s Christians and compares the coming treatment of the Christians to the Jews in Germany.

In Scotland, 30 non-Muslim children from the Parkview Primary School recently were required to visit the Bait ur Rehman Ahmadiyya mosque in the Yorkhill district of Glasgow. At the mosque, the children were instructed to recite the shahada, the Muslim declaration of faith which states: ‘There is no god but Allah and Mohammed is his messenger.’ Muslims are also demanding that Islamic preachers be sent to every school in Scotland to teach children about Islam, ostensibly in an effort to end negative attitudes about Muslims.

British schools are increasingly dropping the Jewish Holocaust from history lessons to avoid offending Muslim pupils, according to a report entitled, Teaching Emotive and Controversial History, commissioned by the Department for Education and Skills.

“LANSING, Mich. (AP) — Hundreds of deer in eight Michigan counties have died from a viral disease that is on the rise nationwide because of hot, dry weather, state officials said Thursday.

Deer infected with epizootic hemorrhagic disease, or EHD, have been found in Barry, Calhoun, Cass, Clinton, Eaton and Montcalm counties, the state Department of Natural Resources said. Experts previously confirmed the illness had killed deer in Ionia and Branch counties.

EHD outbreaks have happened in isolated sections of Michigan repeatedly since 2006. The drought and high temperatures are contributing to this year’s uptick, the DNR said.

‘We are seeing a large die-off of deer in local areas. To date we have over 900 reports of dead deer across all (eight) counties,’ stated Tom Cooley, DNR wildlife biologist and pathologist. ‘Although it is difficult to see so many dead deer, this is still a localized issue and the regional deer population should not be impacted.'” Read more.

Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation biologist Craig Endicott told the Tulsa World (http://bit.ly/NFC1kG) 10 other deer found dead near the Verdigris River likely had the same ailment, known as epizootic hemorrhagic disease. EHD is a viral disease that likely affects white-tailed deer every year, DNR deer biologist Chad Stewart said. Virus Suspected After Deer Found Dead In Arkansas – “A blood- and insect-borne virus that kills deer each year in August and September could kill a larger number this year because of record drought and heat in Arkansas, according to Arkansas Game and Fish Commission biologists. Three deer, all females that apparently had weaned fawns recently, were found dead this week in Marion County… The drought that has killed or stunted native and plotted grasses that deer thrive on has also made weaker deer more vulnerable to the virus, he said.” Read more.

JPost – “Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad referred to Israel as a western ‘tool to dominate the Middle East’ and an ‘insult to all humanity,’ in a speech given at a Tehran rally marking the annual Al-Quds (Jerusalem) Day, according to Iran’s IRNA news agency.

Protesters held massive rallies in cities across Iran on Friday, marking Al-Quds Day, an anti-Zionist event which calls for the liberation of Palestine.

‘Today, Israel and the Zionist entity are against the preservation of all human rights and human dignity,’ IRNA quoted Ahmadinejad as saying at the event.

Demonstrators waved Palestinian flags and held signs bearing slogans such as ‘Down with the US’ and ‘Death to Israel’ at Friday’s rallies.

Iran’s Fars News Agency reported that millions of people were expected to take part in the events in over 550 cities throughout the country. The report added that the demonstration was not only against Israel and the US, but the silence of the international community at ‘the crimes committed in the occupied lands.’

Al-Quds Day rallies were also scheduled to take place in other countries throughout the Muslim world on Friday.
