Obama Authorizes Secret U.S. Support For Muslim Brotherhood And Al-Qaida Rebels In Syria

President Barack Hussein Obama, also known as the Earl of Myopia, has decided to “secretly” provide American support for anti-Assad Islamists whose ultimate goal is to see nothing more than the complete destruction of the State of Israel and all of Western civilization. Syria is just one more stepping stone on the steady climb to achieving that goal, and one more gem in the crown of the Caliphate …

“WASHINGTON (Reuters) – President Barack Obama has signed a secret order authorizing U.S. support for rebels seeking to depose Syrian President Bashar al-Assad and his government, U.S. sources familiar with the matter said.

Obama’s order, approved earlier this year and known as an intelligence ‘finding,’ broadly permits the CIA and other U.S. agencies to provide support that could help the rebels oust Assad.

This and other developments signal a shift toward growing, albeit still circumscribed, support for Assad’s armed opponents – a shift that intensified following last month’s failure of the U.N. Security Council to agree on tougher sanctions against the Damascus government.

The White House is for now apparently stopping short of giving the rebels lethal weapons, even as some U.S. allies do just that.

But U.S. and European officials have said that there have been noticeable improvements in the coherence and effectiveness of Syrian rebel groups in the past few weeks. That represents a significant change in assessments of the rebels by Western officials, who previously characterized Assad’s opponents as a disorganized, almost chaotic, rabble.

Precisely when Obama signed the secret intelligence authorization, an action not previously reported, could not be determined.

US Federal Judge: Al Qaeda, Taliban, Iran And Hizbullah Should Pay $6 Billion In Damages For Supporting 9/11 Attacks

By Rachel Hirshfeld, INN – “A federal magistrate judge has ruled that al Qaeda, the Taliban, Iran and Hizbullah should pay more than $6 billion in damages to the families of victims killed on September 11, 2001, CNN reported.

The recommendation is largely symbolic as it would be nearly impossible to collect any damages.

Federal Magistrate Judge Frank Maas made the ruling Monday, after federal Judge George Daniels decided last year that the terrorist groups and the Iranian regime were liable because of their support for the attacks,.

The initial filing made in 2003 had identified Iraq for its purported role in supporting the attacks, though attorneys withdrew it as a defendant when authorities later considered those claims unfounded.

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has denied any Iranian connection in the attacks, just as he denies the regime’s aspirations in acquiring nuclear weapons.

The 9/11 Commission Report mentions contact between al Qaeda and Iran-supported Hizbullah terrorists, which are based largely in southern Lebanon.

The report also pointed to Iranian border inspectors who were told not to stamp the passports of al Qaeda members and who had facilitated the travel of the would-be hijackers, CNN reported.” Read more.

Borneo: 11 Muslims Arrested For Breaking Ramadan Fast – “Eleven Muslims have thus far been nabbed by the Sarawak Islamic Religious Department (Jais) for not fasting during the month of Ramadan which started on July 21, said Assistant Minister in the Chief Minister’s Department Datuk Daud Abdul Rahman on Saturday. Out of the 11 caught, four were from Kota Samarahan, three each from Kuching and Miri, and one from Mukah. Pakistan: Police Beat Two Men For Enjoying Soft Drink During Ramadan – “Two men were detained and assaulted by policemen in the Pakistani capital for having a soft drink at a popular tourist spot during the period of fasting in the Islamic holy month of Ramadan. The two men – Anwar Abbas and Malik Saeed – were detained while they were having a soft drink inside a car at Daman-e-Koh, a viewpoint overlooking Islamabad, on Friday afternoon… In the meantime, a police constable came and said taking drinks during fasting is a violation of the Ramazan Act and a serious crime.” Read more.

Kuwait: Police Detain Thirsty Man For Drinking Water In Desert Nation During Ramadan – “Over the weekend, Kuwaiti police said they made the first arrest of someone who failed to abide by their strict conditions during the holy month. Police have indicated that a police patrol saw an ‘Asian drinking water from a bottle during the day.’ When the man was approached by officers and asked why he was not fasting, the man told them his sect ‘had not yet started fasting.’ Police disregarded the excuse and arrested him.” Read more.

Indonesia: Mob Of Muslim Youth Attack Business For Serving Non-Muslims Alcohol During Ramadan – “Indonesian police said on Monday they had arrested 62 people, most of them minors, involved in attacking a bar in south Jakarta for serving alcohol during the holy Muslim month of Ramadan. A group of 150 youths – some as young as 13 and carrying swords and golf clubs – raided the De Most bar late on Saturday, smashing bottles of alcoholic drinks and damaging the property… ‘They shattered the windows and door and smashed bottles, saying they wanted all bars shut to ensure the month of Ramadan is not tainted,’ he added.” Read more.

Palestinian Territories: Six Palestinians Arrested, One Given Month In Prison, For Eating In Public During Ramadan – “Under Islamic law, eating is prohibited from sunrise until sunset during the entire month. In addition, the Chairman of the PA Supreme Court for Shari’ah Law said PA law should prohibit even non-Muslims and those who cannot fast for health reasons from eating in public during the month. Sheikh Yusuf Ida’is explained: ‘Our streets are Islamic,’ and formal legislation should be enacted to ‘severely punish’ anyone who eats publicly during Ramadan.” Read more.

Egypt: Muslim Brotherhood Cleric Terrorizes Christians, Over 120 Families Flee Village After Being Blamed For Death Of Muslim Man

“(AINA) — The sectarian strife between Muslims and Christians which took place last week in the village of Dahshur has prompted over 120 Christian families to flee their homes today after news that a Muslim man who had suffered 3rd degree burns in the incident died this morning in a Cairo hospital. Before his death, the father and brother of Moaz Hassab-Allah told the media yesterday that should he die, ‘the whole village will avenge his death.’

Coptic villagers were terrorized today after a Muslim Brotherhood cleric roamed the village vowing that the village church of St. George will be burned down, its pastor and all the entire Christian inhabitants killed and their homes torched after the burial of Moaz tonight, reportd Coptic activist Maariam Ragy.

Coptic professional garments presser Sameh Samy accidentally burned the shirt of his Muslim client Ahmad Ramadan. ‘They agreed to meet after the Muslim breaks his fast and settle the damage,’ said father Takla of St, George’s church to MidEast Christian News, ‘however, Ramadan came back before the appointment.’ He added that after breaking their Ramadan fast nearly 2000-3000 Muslims congregated; Mr. Samy locked his launderette and his home.

Fighting broke out between the Muslims and Sameh’s family, during which Molotov’s cocktails, firearms and knives were used. The priest explained that Sameh faced this huge mob in ‘self-defense,’ threw a Molotov’s cocktail which hit the passer-by Moaz.

‘This made the villagers extremely angry and they torched his home and his launderette and his brother’s home after they looted the contents, a loss of nearly 400,000 Egyptian pounds. They prevented the fire brigade from reaching the fire,’ said Takla. The mob wounded Sameh, his father, his cousin and another Copt. Father Takla said that over 500 moderate village [Muslims] stopped the Salafist mob from storming the church, until security forces arrived and secured it.

Prosecution ordered the arrest of five Muslims, while Sameh Samy, his father and brother were detained pending investigation on charges of attempted murder and possession of explosives. Today, prosecution renewed their detention for 15 days and changed the charged to contemplated murder. No Muslim has yet been arrested.” Read more.

Pakistan: Increasing Number Of Christian Girls Kidnapped By Muslims, Raped, Forced To Convert To Islam

“In the recent months there have several reports about the ongoing persecution, kidnapping and abduction of the Christian women and girls in Pakistan. According to the news, a daughter of Morris Masih from Rawalpindi was kidnapped by Mohammad Abid and Tariq Ali. Morris Masih has asked the police to register a case against Abid and Ali and recover his daughter, but they have refused to register the case. In another case, in Faisalabad Christian Waris Masih’s wife was kidnapped, he has also reported it to the police, but they failed to give him any information about his wife.

Also in Chunian, Punjab, the sister of a pastor has been kidnaped raped and forcibly converted to Islam. Muzamal Arif, Pastor Aurangzeb’s sister, was kidnapped around a month ago by some Muslim men while returning home from college. She was held for days, suffered sexual abuse, threats and violence. In such a state of terror and exhaustion, first she was coerced into converting to Islam, and then marriage. The girl is now a Muslim and married to Muhammad Nadeem.

Her family reported the incident to the police station in Chunian, but no investigations have been conducted and instead her abductors have presented a report to the court attesting to the girl now being Muslim and legally married. Among other things, the girl is a minor and, according to the law, marriage is not permitted to minors. However, according to local Christians, the kidnappers’ family is rich and powerful and manages to bypass these legal measures.

For the last several years there has been an alarming increase in the kidnapping and false conversion of Christian girls.

According to a report from the Human Rights Commission of Pakistan (HRCP), last year 1800 Christian and Hindu girls were forcibly converted to Islam. The police hardly registered any cases against the Muslim kidnappers and sometimes even supported them. On some occasions courts even used Islamic laws in favour of the perpetrators. This is a growing problem for Christians and Hindus and CLAAS has raised its concerns with the Pakistani government, but unfortunately it has fallen on deaf ears. Pakistan: Christian Nurses In Kirachi Drink Tea Laced With Poison During Ramadan

“Pakistan’s minority Christian community’s leaders have demanded an impartial inquiry into the alleged poisoning of nine nurses at a government-run hospital.

The nine Christian trainee nurses at the Civil Hospital in Karachi fell ill on Sunday night after reportedly drinking poisoned tea prepared at their hostel.

They were claimed to have been deliberately poisoned because of their faith.

According to one of the affected nurses, a colleague had made the tea after 10pm and they fell ill immediately after drinking it.

The nurses were taken to the Civil Hospital’s emergency ward and sent back after treatment.

They developed complications the next morning and had to be taken to the hospital again…

Condemning the incident, Christian leader Michael Javed sought a judicial investigation.

Claiming that society had become extremely intolerant and was not allowing minorities to live in peace, the former legislator asked the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court to take suo motu notice of the incident.

‘The government has turned a blind eye to the persecution of minorities; our girls are being (forcibly) converted and our churches are being attacked,’ he said.” Read more.
