Another Desecration — But This Time It’s Not The Qur’an, It’s The Bible

Major news outlets around the world [1] reported last week (July 18, 2012) the actions of Dr. Michael Ben-Ari [2], an Israeli politician, and member of the Knesset [3], who publicly destroyed a copy of the Book of Testaments [4] when he ripped out the entire New Testament section of the book. The Book of Testaments includes the Jewish Bible (known to Christians as the Old Testament) as well as the New Testament (which includes the four gospels and the epistles and writings after the time of Jesus). Ben-Ari is an orthodox Jew, a Rabbi, and a member of the ultranationalist National Union Party. Ben-Ari is no stranger to controversy. In fact, he was recently denied a visa to enter the United States. [5] According to some sources (include Ben-Ari, the Unites States’ denial was because Ben-Ari is a long-time follower of the late Rabbi Meir Kahane, whose “Kach” party is outlawed in Israel and is considered a terrorist organization in the United States. [6]

Ben-Ari was one of the members of the Knesset that received a free copy of the Book of Testaments in the mail from a Christian missionary organization, the Bible Society in Israel [7], along with a letter of introduction from its director, Dr. Victor Kalisher. [8] Ben-Ari posed with cameras outside his parliament office displaying the torn out sections of the Book. He is reported to have made this statement in reference to tearing out the New Testament section:

“This despicable book galvanised the murder of millions of Jews during the Inquisition and during auto da fe instances,” … .” [9]

Why does Ben-Ari (and others around the world) make such hate-filled statements about the New Testament? On what basis does he claim that the New Testament is the cause of the death and persecution of millions of Jews since the time of Christ?

Al Qaeda In Iraq Sets Sights On The US, Promises New Attacks In The Heartland Of America

By Brian Bennett, Washington Bureau – “WASHINGTON — The militant organization that was once the scourge of the U.S. military campaign in Iraq and probably is responsible for more than 100 deaths in the country over the last few days has set its sights on launching attacks in the United States, intelligence officials said.

Al Qaeda in Iraq released a message this week that threatened to strike at the ‘heart’ of the United States, and several associates of the group have been arrested in the U.S. and Canada in the last two years, said American officials, a sign that the organization has tried to establish a network in North America.

The arrests highlight ‘the potential threat posed to the United States’ from Al Qaeda in Iraq, said Matthew Olsen, the director of the National Counterterrorism Center, during a hearing Wednesday before the House Homeland Security Committee examining the current threat from terrorism to the United States…

Al Qaeda in Iraq was pummeled more than five years ago by a coalition of Sunni Arab tribal leaders in western Iraq and U.S. forces, but experts who study Al Qaeda say that the organization in Iraq has begun to rebuild, energized in the last year by the violent uprising next door in Syria and an influx of cash from wealthy benefactors in the Persian Gulf. U.S. forces withdrew from Iraq in December.

On Sunday, the day before the latest wave of attacks in Iraq killed at least 110 people, the militant group released an audio recording to mark the beginning of the Muslim holy month of Ramadan. The message announced a new campaign of violence against the Iraqi government, praised Syria’s uprising and made a call for new recruits to join the group. It also spoke directly to Americans.

‘You will soon witness how attacks will resound in the heart of your land, because our war with you has now started,’ said a man that identified himself as Abu Bakr Baghdadi, the pseudonym used by the head of Al Qaeda in Iraq.” Read more.

British Supermarkets Bow Down To Allah, Food Logo Now Includes Halal Meat

For meat to be considered Halal, the animal must be sacrificed in the name of Allah. Allah is a false god. False gods are idols. And Scripture has a few things to say about things sacrificed to idols …

Acts 15:29, “You are to abstain from food sacrificed to idols, from blood, from the meat of strangled animals and from sexual immorality. You will do well to avoid these things.”

Revelation 2:19-20, “‘I know your deeds, and your love and faith and service and perseverance, and that your deeds of late are greater than at first. But I have this against you, that you tolerate the woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess, and she teaches and leads My bond-servants astray so that they commit acts of immorality and eat things sacrificed to idols.”

By Glen Jenvey, Asian Tribune – “When walking into any British supermarket they all pride themselves on selling British products where possible , this can be seen in any meat section at Asda,Tesco and Waitrose to name a few.

But do we know what we are eating? To help us we see logo’s like Red Tractor which guarantees:

– High standards of food safety and hygiene

– High Standards of animal welfare

– High Standards of Environmental protection

You would think looking at the logo that meat sold with this assured food standard is 100% British, but on contacting all major supermarkets, I was shocked to learn that in fact the standard means nothing and we are in fact eating Halal meat blessed with Islamic prayers and the animal having its throat cut until the blood drains out. In some cases it takes as long as six minutes for the animal to die even when stunned.

This practice says Tescos quote: We sell Halal meat in our stores to meet customer demand and to demonstrate that everyone is welcome at Tesco.

But what Tescos are forgetting that British people do not want to eat this Islamically blessed meat as most of us are Christian and many of us see this form of slaughter wrong with great suffering for the animal.

Tescos claim that the animal is stunned to feel no pain! , but is still alive, watching while its throat is cut until it dies, sometimes six minutes. ‘This is cruel,’ animal rights charities claim and not a quick clean kill. But most British shoppers might wonder why meat is dry when cooked from supermarkets, it might be because that Islamic law requires all blood drained from the meat.

Tescos go on to say like all other major UK supermarkets. We source from suppliers who serve Muslim as well as non-Muslim customers. Some of these suppliers process all their meat to Halal standards. For example, all New Zealand lamb meet’s Halal standards.” Read more.

Dubai Police Chief: The Muslim Brotherhood Is Planning Overthrow Of Gulf Arab Countries

Reuters – “DUBAI – Dubai’s chief of police has warned of an ‘international plot’ to overthrow the governments of Gulf Arab countries, saying the region needs to be prepared to counter any threat from Islamist dissidents as well as Syria and Iran.

The comments by Dahi Khalfan, one of the most outspoken security officials in the United Arab Emirates, follow the detention in the UAE since April of at least 20 dissidents, according to relatives of the detainees and activists.

‘There’s an international plot against Gulf states in particular and Arab countries in general…This is preplanned to take over our fortunes,’ Khalfan told reporters at a gathering late on Wednesday marking the Muslim holy month of Ramadan.

‘The bigger our sovereign wealth funds and the more money we put in the banks of Western countries, the bigger the plot to take over our countries…The brothers and their governments in Damascus and North Africa have to know that the Gulf is a red line, not only for Iran but also for the Brothers as well.’

Most of the detainees since April are Islamists, targeted by an official clampdown amid concern they may be emboldened by the rise of the Muslim Brotherhood in other Arab countries such as Egypt.” Read more.
