By Reza Kahlili – “Just days after the breakdown of talks with the West over Iran’s nuclear program, the deputy chief commander of the Revolutionary Guards announced that there soon will be war – and that Allah will ensure his forces are victorious.

The last round of talks between Iran and the P5+1 (the United States, Britain, France, China, Russia and Germany) ended in Moscow last week without any agreement on Iran’s illicit nuclear program.

Gen. Hossein Salami, in a televised interview, boasted that, ‘Iran has complete control of all the enemy’s interests around the world and is on a path to reach equivalency with world powers.’ The commander emphasized that Iran’s nuclear program is irreversible, the Islamic Republic News Agency reported.

Salami said war is inevitable, and the Iranian forces are ready.

‘The current sanctions will only help Iran with its progress, and the Iranian ballistic missiles can target the enemy’s moving carriers with 100 percent accuracy,’ he warned the West. ‘The Guards’ operational plan includes a radius of deterrence in the region in which all interests of the enemy have been identified, and in case of war, those interests will be attacked.’

Guards’ commanders have stated previously that all U.S. bases in the region are targeted with missiles and will be attacked should America strike Iran.

Large Mysterious Rumbling Sound Reported In San Diego

By R. Stickney, NBC San Diego – “Residents from Chula Vista to Oceanside are reporting a large rumble around 12:45 p.m. Friday.

Some people describe it as sounding like a door slamming while others said it was strong enough to rattle windows.

A check of the U.S. Geological Survey website shows no earthquake activity.

One San Diego resident mentioned the sound via Twitter ‘Uh… La Jolla just shook. Or at least my street did. Big boom too.’

Carlos Ortega, of Solana Beach, wrote to us, ‘An earthquake shook here at 1244pm. Shook windows and walls for a good 5 seconds.’

Mercy Ramirez wanted NBC 7 San Diego to know, ‘We’re in Bonita, our our office shook for about 5 seconds, was this an earthquake? We’re on the third floor and everything shook.’

NBC 7 San Diego’s Dagmar Midcap was in Del Mar at the time and described it as a ‘Sonic ‘rumble”

She tweeted, ‘according to my contacts at USGS, not seismic but rather sonic.’

Sometimes, a military exercise known as chaff can cause a similar sound.

Two months ago, when San Diegans heard a similar sound, there was evidence of chaff on weather radar.

On Friday, however, Tina Stall with the National Weather Service said there was no visible chaff in the area at the time the noise was reported.

A spokesperson from Camp Pendleton said Marines are not training with anything unusual. They often train with various military equipment and will be training with tanks both Saturday and Sunday.” Source – NBC San Diego.

Irony can be deadly ironic. Yet again we have a preacher of the “religion of peace” actually standing up for peace, only to then be summarily executed by adherents of his own faith. It seems to me that this imam convinced himself of the apologist lie that says the “religion of peace” somehow meant “peaceful religion” …

“An imam has been killed in a mosque in Russia’s southern Dagestan region, police said on Friday.

The four masked assailants also killed another man and set the mosque on fire, before fleeing the scene in a stolen car.

The imam, Magomedkamil Gamzatov, was well-known for his rejection of ‘any form of violence and openly condemned the extremist insurgency,’ the National Anti-Terror Committee said in a statement.

Iranian Strategy To Eliminate Global Drug Trade: Kill The Jews!

AFP – “Tehran: The teachings of the Jewish book of law, the Talmud, are a driving force behind the international drugs trade, Iran’s First Vice President Mohammad Reza Rahimi said in comments reported on Wednesday.

Rahimi’s remarks, at an international anti-drug conference in Tehran attended by many foreign diplomats on Tuesday, were a rare diatribe by an Iranian official targeting the Jewish faith, rather than the state of Israel.

The remarks were immediately slammed by Israel’s foreign minister, who also criticised the United Nations and European Union for sending representatives to the conference.

‘The spread of narcotics in the world emanates from the teachings of the Talmud… whose objective is the destruction of the world,’ Rahimi said in comments published by the official website of President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and state media.

‘The Talmud teaches that it is lawful to acquire wealth through legal and illegal means… which gives [the Jews] the right to destroy humanity,’ he said.

‘If one seeks what lies behind all forms of corruption, there is the repugnant face of Zionists. This is the same case for the narcotics trade … whose primary operator is the Zionist regime,’ he said.

‘The Zionists spread destruction not only by drugs, but also by [attacking] cultures.’

Iranian officials have repeatedly courted international outrage with tirades against the state of Israel but criticism of Judaism as a faith has been rare.

The Talmud is a book of oral tradition derived from the Jewish holy book, the Torah, that contains all the principles that govern daily life.

Ahmadinejad has said many times that the Jewish state is doomed to destruction, while supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has branded it ‘a cancerous tumour that must be removed’.” Read more.

China: Crew Members And Passengers Thwart Six Islamists From Hijacking Airliner

AFP – “Six members of China’s Uighur minority tried to hijack a plane flying from a restive city in the far-western Xinjiang region on Friday but crew members and passengers thwarted them, authorities said.

The plane returned safely to the airport in Hotan city — which has seen a spate of violent clashes between mainly Muslim Uighurs and police due to simmering ethnic tensions — and the suspects were detained, authorities said.

‘The six hijackers are Uighurs,’ Hou Hanmin, a spokeswoman for the government of Xinjiang told AFP.

‘For the moment, we don’t know the purpose of the hijack. It’s still under investigation,’ she said, adding at least seven crew members and passengers had been injured in the incident.

Two security personnel were also seriously injured, the official Xinhua news agency said.

The aircraft took off at 12:25 pm (0425 GMT) from Hotan, then 10 minutes into the flight the six suspects tried to ‘violently hijack’ the plane, according to tianshannet.com, the Xinjiang government’s news website.

But crew members and passengers soon brought them under control and the aircraft returned to the city, the website said.

The plane — which belongs to Tianjin Airlines, according to Xinhua — had been bound for the Xinjiang capital of Urumqi, it added without providing further details.” Read more.

Ohio: Dozens Of Geese, Ducks Found Dead In Sandusky

Associated Press – “SANDUSKY, Ohio – Wildlife officials are doing tests on waterfowl carcasses and water samples in an effort to determine what killed more than 50 geese and ducks at a state care facility for veterans in northern Ohio.

Police tell the Sandusky Register the birds were collected and buried last weekend at the grounds of the Ohio Veterans Home near Sandusky. The property includes a nursing home and living spaces for clients that require less assistance.

A spokesman for the Division of Wildlife says water samples and dead birds were collected from the property for testing, though he wasn’t sure how quickly the results might be available.” Source – newsnet5.com.

 

Opinion: ‘The Day The Constitution Died’ By Michael Connelly, J.D., Constitutional Attorney (Ret)

By Michael Connelly – “It is June 28, 2012 and on this day in history five Justices of the U.S. Supreme Court joined with President Obama and members of Congress to declare the U.S. Constitution and our free Republic dead. The Justices accomplished all of this by issuing a bizarre opinion on the Constitutionality of the ‘Affordable Health Care Act’ commonly known as Obamacare.

In August of 2009 I wrote my first blog article on the Constitutionality of the proposed health care bill, H.R. 3200. I noted a number of Constitutional objections to it with the primary one being the violation of Article, Section 8, of the Constitution that limits the powers of Congress. I argued that nothing in that article, including the Commerce Clause, gave Congress the power to either regulate health care, or to turn over the power to do so to the Executive Branch of government.

Ironically, the Supreme Court agreed with me today on the Commerce Clause issue, but then did something that by its own past admissions; it has no Constitutional authority to do. The Court took a clearly unconstitutional law passed by Congress and essentially rewrote it in order to declare it Constitutional. I’m referring specifically to the ‘penalties’ imposed on Americans who fail to comply with the individual mandate requiring them to buy health insurance. Under the law, these people can be ‘fined’ by the IRS for non compliance.

If you remember, when Obamacare was being proposed, the President, members of his cabinet, Democrats in Congress, and members of the mainstream news media were all assuring the American people that this was not a new ‘tax.’ Now, John Roberts, the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court has written a majority opinion saying essentially that these were all lies, but he is going to fix it by declaring that this is a tax, and therefore falls within the powers of Congress.

In a nutshell, we have a situation where the Congress passed a law that it had no authority under the Constitution to pass, and that further unconstitutionally granted extraordinary new powers to the Executive Branch, that are not authorized by the Constitution. Now, we have the U.S. Supreme Court upholding this, and making a power grab of its own by saying that it can ignore the Constitution and rewrite the laws passed by Congress.

The implications of this are staggering.” Read more.

Canada: Hundreds Of Dead Fish Line The Banks Of Pottersburg Creek, Ontario

By PATRICK CALLAN, The London Free Press – “Hundreds of dead fish lined the banks of Pottersburg Creek Thursday morning and dozens more could been seen floating belly up from a small bridge on Industrial Rd. south of Oxford. St.

The roughly 500 dead fish ranged from a few inches to a foot long. The stench of fish hovered above the 150- metre stretch at the most westerly point of the creek where the dead fish were found.

The Ministry of Environment said water samples were taken from the creek Wednesday and testing is being done to determine if the fish kill happened because of a spill or natural causes.

Rick Pedlow, city of London sewer operations division manager, said the city found out about the fish kill Wednedsay and is working closely with the Ministry of Environment – who is taking the lead.

‘We’re just a resource for the ministry. They will give us direction,’ Pedlow said.

By Thursday afternoon, the city had begun cleaning up the dead fish.

The Upper Thames Conservation Authority said the fish — creek chub, darters, bluntnose minnow, rock bass and white suckers — most likely died of natural causes.” Read more.

Ireland: ‘Large Quantities Of Dead Fish Have Been Seen Flowing Downstream All Day’

RTE News – “It is understood that the problem was first noticed this morning and that large quantities of dead fish have been seen flowing downstream all day.

A statement on the Wicklow County Council website said that they have temporarily shut off raw water supply intake from Vartry River to our Water Treatment plant at Cronroe as a precaution.

Local sources said reports had been received of dead fish as high up the river as Roundwood, and as far down the river as Ashford.

It is also understood that a dead heron has also been found, although it is not clear if this is related to the fish kill.

A source in Inland Fisheries Ireland confirmed the matter is under investigation, but would not speculate about how extensive the problem is or what the cause might be.” Source – RTE News.

Australia: Dozens Of Dead And Dying Sea Turtles Washing Ashore Shows No Signs Of Slowing Down

AAP – “THE death toll of vulnerable green sea turtles south of Townsville has shown no signs of slowing down, with more sick animals washing up on beaches today.

Queensland authorities have carried out two helicopter surveys after more than 20 of the vulnerable species, mostly adult females, were discovered washed up on beaches around Upstart Bay last week.

Two more were found on Friday on Wunjunga Beach, about 100 kilometres south of Townsville, and their cause of death continue to baffle scientists.

A total of 73 dead turtles have now been discovered.

Marty McLaughlin, operations manager at Queensland Parks and Wildlife Services, says the turtles were nourished with no obvious signs of illness.

‘This is classified as an unusual event,’ Mr McLaughlin told AAP.

‘We now have better data about the number of turtles, but they are continuing to wash up.

‘We still can’t rule out poisoning as toxicology reports have yet to be finalised.'” Read more.

New York: Islamic Hate Graffiti Praising Allah Found At WTC Memorial

By Michael King – “NEW YORK — The NYPD Hate Crimes Task Force is investigating after the words ‘Allah Wakbar’ were found written on a granite seat at the Sept. 11 memorial on Tuesday, law enforcement sources tell NBC 4 New York.

A private custodian cleaning the area found the graffiti, written in pink and black marker, on a seat in the plaza area between the north and south pools around 10:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Investigators believe someone wrote the words that day. No incidents were reported on Tuesday, and the area is not in the view of any security cameras.

After cops were called, the words were removed by a power washer, sources said. The rest of the memorial was inspected, but no other graffiti was found.

The graffiti comes about a week after a group of Brooklyn junior high school students were forced to leave the memorial after throwing baseballs, empty bottles and other trash into its reflecting pools.” Source – 11 Alive.
