Ahmadinejad: ‘Islam Forbids Atomic Weapons’ (Wink, Wink)

The Qur’an calls the god of Islam, among other things, “the best of deceivers”. Surely, Islamic radicals like the Iranian President and the Ayatollahs could never mimic such an example …

"Yes, We Can!"

“Yes, We Can!”

By Al Arabiya with AFP – “Islam forbids atomic weapons and other arms of mass destruction, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad insisted on Wednesday ahead of his country’s nuclear talks with world powers in Baghdad, as Israel urged world powers not to waver in key talks with Iran.

‘Based on Islamic teachings and the clear fatwa (edict) of the supreme leader, the production and use of weapons of mass destruction is haram (forbidden) and have no place in the Islamic Republic of Iran’s defense doctrine,’ he said.

Ahmadinejad’s message was read out at a conference in the western city of Borujerd to commemorate Iranian victims of chemical weapons during a 1980-1988 war against Iraq, the official news agency IRNA reported.

World powers were to hold crunch talks in the Iraqi capital on Wednesday with Iran to try to persuade Tehran to suspend sensitive nuclear work.

Ahmadinejad’s mention of a fatwa against nuclear weapons by Iran’s supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, referred to an edict which officials say he laid down in either 2004 or 2005.

Though no published fatwa exists, Iranian scholars point out that declarations by prominent ayatollahs can later take on the weight of a fatwa.

Khamenei has spoken out against nuclear weapons on several occasions, most recently on Feb. 22 when he said that possessing an atomic bomb “constitutes a major sin.”” Read more.

Flashback: Iran: Nuclear Weapons Will Prepare Us For The Emergence Of Islamic Messiah – “New evidence indicates Iran’s supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, wants nuclear weapons and he created a religious-based ruse to deceive the world into joining new talks. The leader intends to use those talks to buy more time to harden his weapons program, prevent an attack, and persuade world powers to lift sanctions… President Khamenei explained ‘This [possessing nuclear weapons] was the only way to secure the very essence of the Islamic revolution from the schemes of its enemies … and to prepare it for the emergence of Imam Mehdi [messiah],’ who would bring the world under Islamic rule.” Read more.

Flashback: Iran: Spiritual Leaders Declare Use Of Nuclear Weapons As Lawful Under Sharia – “‘The spiritual leaders of the ultra-conservatives [in Iran] have accepted the use of nuclear weapons as lawful in the eyes of shari’a. Mohsen Gharavian, a disciple of [Ayatollah] Mesbah Yazdi [who is Iranian President Ahmadinejad’s spiritual mentor], has spoken for the first time of using nuclear weapons as a counter-measure. He stated that ‘in terms of shari’a, it all depends on the goal.’… [T]he IraNews news agency published recent remarks by Mohsen Gharavian regarding the nuclear issue. Gharavian is a lecturer at the religious schools of Qom, and is a disciple of [Ayatollah] Mesbah Yazdi. In his recent remarks, he said for the first time that the use of nuclear weapons may not constitute a problem according to shari’a. He further said that ‘when the entire world is armed with nuclear weapons, it is permissible to use these weapons as a counter-[measure]. According to shari’a, too, only the goal is important…’” Read more.

Point 1: a fatwa can be revoked, changed or upgraded. Point 2: since the caliphate is non-existent, virtually any imam with a decent sized following can issue one, even if it sounds absurd to another group. Point 3: some aren’t even listened to if another interpeter/imam says differently.

If the black flag is raised, then anything can be used for the “struggle”. Constituting a contribution toward the sake of the crescent persuasion and its leader. Whether that contribution is financial, violence, disinfo, prosletyzing or baking cookies it is all for the cause and viewed as an accessory.

In their belief system to be a coward is to go to hell. Oh yeah, the same with us… the difference with us is not to impose violence but to be lambs. I don’t quite understand self-defense in the NT. I’ll have to study this subject out more.

There was no official fatwa forbidding the use of nuclear weapons (and you’re right, even if there were one it could be nothing more than a form of “taqqiya”). Which isn’t surprising given the fact that the closest thing to a fatwa on the subject of nuclear weapons was the 2006 declaration by clerics in Qom that “shari’a does not forbid the use of nuclear weapons” …

another form of deception is kitman, which is often mistaken for taqqiya. however, kitman can be a part of taqqiya. kitman is like saying the bible say: God is not a man. This is kitman since only part of the scripture is being read. The rest would read: , “that He should lie”. The context is that God is not a liar but is turned into crescent persuasion paraphrasing to support their theology, ie deut 18:18 and so on. Get it did guys, GOD BLESS

True stuff ICA. But if you study the history of the crescent flavor, you will see that a truce and treaty is nothing more than external formality. Too, there are numerous citations in the books of the crescent demeanour that tell you you can lie to your enemy, your enemy is anyone other than themselves, and any treaty with their enemy is not binding since it is not under their god and their god has made every built-in provision to lie, cheat, steal, kill, and destroy…. sounds like some angelos you may have heard of? Real stuff, real weird, real life.

eRRRRM, if ahmedinejad is right, how would anyone be wiped of the face of the map as he said previous to? A big mile-wide rolling pin perhaps? Or a giant bottle of 409 and a 10 mile long sham wow to wipe it off? ‘they’ are buying themslelves time by saying one thing, contradicting themselves, then going back and appealing to ignorance. Well done ahmed no encore please.
