Iranian Government: ‘Jesus’ And The Mahdi Are Coming Soon!

Matthew 24:26-27, “‘Therefore if they say to you, ‘Look, He is in the desert!’ do not go out; [or] ‘Look, [He is] in the inner rooms!’ do not believe [it]. For as the lightning comes from the east and flashes to the west, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.'”

Joel Richardson: “The following picture was sent to me from a friend in Iran. It is of a small billboard set up in various cities throughout Iran by the present Iranian government. The caption reads,

“Quote from our Holy prophet, His Holiness Mohammad (God Bless Him): ‘I swear to God, for sure, Jesus Christ (peace be upon him) shall descend amidst my followers, the leader of [the] people on that day shall be his holiness (sic) [the] Mahdi. (May God expedite his revelation).’”

Try to imagine if the present United States government placed billboards across the nation informing and encouraging people with the message that Jesus will return soon. The concept is so utterly foreign to us. Please pray for the Church in Iran. Pray that the revival in Iran would only continue to grow and bear great fruit. And do not forget to pray that war with Iran can be averted.” Source – Joels Trumpet.

Jesus and Isa of the Koran are NOT one and the same. A friend of mine who belongs to a ‘Christian’ cult, believes that Jesus will be returning this coming Sunday (27th – Pentecost).

Agree with Lee. Jesus of the Bible doesn’t say the things that Jesus of the Hadiths and the Q’r say he said. So we must have two different Jesus’s. In one hadith there is a verse concerning the last day and Jesus. It claims that there will be one on earth claiming that he is king of kings/ this is the vilest thing to the god fo the crescent persuasion. Therefore we must examine two things Jesus of the hadith says one thing but in Revelation 19 he is coming as another. This is the dividing line. My moniker for this post is ica, does it mean that I am the person who writes for this blog??? Just an example of what I am trying to say. God bless us all and strengthen us, b’shem Yeshua, ‘malik al-amlak’, amiin.

“The Jesus of the Qur’an, or the Jesus of the Bible — which is correct? The Islamic Jesus (Isa) is viewed as nothing more than an ‘apostle of Allah’, a mere man whose virgin birth, life and death had no real significance other than to simply be a slave and messenger for the god of Islam. The Messianic-Christian Jesus (Yeshua), a Jew from Nazareth, is viewed as the fulfillment of ancient Jewish Messianic prophecies, as the eternal Word of God manifested in the flesh who came into the world as the Lamb of God to be the final sacrifice for sin, the only way of salvation and fulfillment of the Law. We don’t need to perform detailed comparisons before we begin to realize that the Jesus of the Qur’an is not the same Jesus of the Bible. Although two opposing views can both be wrong, two opposing views cannot both be right…” Read more.

The problem with Islam in this regard is that it believes it has the real Jesus, when in reality they have nothing more than a counterfeit, and a false prophet.

I know this ICA. That’s why I imitated your name. We can call something the same but it can be factually the diammetric opposite, ie Isa. The strange thing is that Isa which is said to be Jesus will be the mahdi’s enforcer and bring all to islam, or….

This is why it is soooo important for every Christian to know their Bible. Jesus said my sheep know my voice and I know theirs. We’ve got to get this right, because it’s just going to get worse and worse with the confusion. Praying for wisdom, knowledge, and guidance for us all.
