Documents Reveal Al Qaeda’s Plans For Seizing Cruise Ships, Carnage In Europe

Meh, the “War on Terror” is officially over. Move along …

By Nic Robertson, Paul Cruickshank and Tim Lister, CNN – “On May 16 last year, a 22-year-old Austrian named Maqsood Lodin was being questioned by police in Berlin. He had recently returned from Pakistan via Budapest, Hungary, and then traveled overland to Germany. His interrogators were surprised to find that hidden in his underpants were a digital storage device and memory cards.

Buried inside them was a pornographic video called ‘Kick Ass’ — and a file marked ‘Sexy Tanja.’

Several weeks later, after laborious efforts to crack a password and software to make the file almost invisible, German investigators discovered encoded inside the actual video a treasure trove of intelligence — more than 100 al Qaeda documents that included an inside track on some of the terror group’s most audacious plots and a road map for future operations.

Future plots include the idea of seizing cruise ships and carrying out attacks in Europe similar to the gun attacks by Pakistani militants that paralyzed the Indian city of Mumbai in November 2008. Ten gunmen killed 164 people in that three-day rampage.

Terrorist training manuals in PDF format in German, English and Arabic were among the documents, too, according to intelligence sources.

U.S. intelligence sources tell CNN that the documents uncovered are ‘pure gold;’ one source says that they are the most important haul of al Qaeda materials in the last year, besides those found when U.S. Navy SEALs raided Osama bin Laden’s compound in Abbottabad, Pakistan, a year ago and killed the al Qaeda leader.

One document was called ‘Future Works.’ Its authorship is unclear, but intelligence officials believe it came from al Qaeda’s inner core. It may have been the work of Younis al Mauretani, a senior al Qaeda operative until his capture by Pakistani police in 2011.

The document appears to have been the product of discussions to find new targets and methods of attack. German investigators believe it was written in 2009 — and that it remains the template for al Qaeda’s plans.” Read more.

Fukushima On Steroids: ‘Japan Is In The Process Of Contaminating The Entire Pacific Ocean’

By Dr. Mark Sircus – “I wish everything I am reporting on were not true, or at least were less true than it appears. It does seem that Japan is in the process of contaminating the entire Pacific Ocean via continued uncontrolled releases of radioactivity at Fukushima.

After low-balling initial estimates of radiation releases, the Japanese authorities now acknowledge that substantial amounts of radioactive material leaked from the crippled Fukushima Dai-Ichi reactors.[1]

The nuclear disaster in Japan has released radioactive isotopes that have poisoned the country’s soil, food, and water.

The fallout is being rapidly taken up by living things and passed up the food chain with airborne radioactive isotopes reaching around the world but especially in the northern hemisphere where most of the radioactive particles will settle.

Most Americans have no idea what is happening. But within days of the accident at Fukushima radioactive contaminants were detected at monitoring stations in the Pacific Coast states.

Nearly 1% of the ‘hot’ sulfur released from the plant is estimated to have traversed the Pacific to reach southern California beaches.[2]…

It is extremely difficult and painful to entertain the thought that the future of the northern hemisphere—and perhaps even the habitability of the entire planet—is being brought into question. I am not a lone wolf saying this anymore for the story has touched the edge of the mainstream.

The story of the nuclear waste pools was just published in the Huffington Post. I imagine many do read that publication and what they read there should shake people up pretty good.” Read more.

Tested: 119 of 132 people test positive from sampling survey of radioactive substances in urine in Iwate – “Iwate prefecture conducted sampling survey of radioactive substances in urine in Ichinoseki city and Oshu city. The result published on 3/2/2012 shows cesium was measured from 119 of 132 people (90.1%). The highest reading was 6 Bq/L.” Read more.

Tested: Fukushima Gov’t: Over 35% of young people tested have thyroid cysts or nodules – “Peace Philosophy Centre posted the results and Fukushima Diary has the summary translation: ‘In March, Fukushima government conducted thyroid test for under 18 in 13 cities and towns such as Minamisoma city, Namiemachi, Iidatemura, Tomiokamachi etc.. The result shows thyroid nodules ( 5.0mm) or cyst (20.0mm) were seen in 13,460 from 38,114 people (35.3%). Compared to their pre-test result of January, it increased from 29.7% to 35.3%. Supermoon Alert: Biggest Full Moon Of 2012 Due Saturday, May 5th

Update: May’s ‘Supermoon’ To Be Closely Followed By Meteor Shower, Annular Solar Eclipse

Space.com via FOX News – “Skywatchers take note: The biggest full moon of the year is due to arrive this weekend.

The moon will officially become full Saturday (May 5) at 11:35 p.m. EDT. And because this month’s full moon coincides with the moon’s perigee — its closest approach to Earth — it will also be the year’s biggest.

The moon will swing in 221,802 miles (356,955 kilometers) from our planet, offering skywatchers a spectacular view of an extra-big, extra-bright moon, nicknamed a supermoon.

And not only does the moon’s perigee coincide with full moon this month, but this perigee will be the nearest to Earth of any this year, as the distance of the moon’s close approach varies by about 3 percent, according to meteorologist Joe Rao, SPACE.com’s skywatching columnist. This happens because the moon’s orbit is not perfectly circular.

This month’s full moon is due to be about 16 percent brighter than average.” Read more.

Iranian Scientists May Attend North Korean Nuclear Test

But, but, but they promise it’s only for “peaceful purposes” …

1 Thessalonians 5:2-3, “For you yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night.  For when they say, ‘Peace and safety!’ then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape.”

"Peaceful Purposes"

By YAAKOV LAPPIN – “North Korea will soon carry out a nuclear experiment, and Iranian scientists could be present at the explosion site, sources who are familiar with the issue told The Jerusalem Post Monday.

Iranian officials from the Shahid Hemmat Industrial Group observed a failed North Korean rocket launch on April 13, according to a report by the South Korean Yonhap news agency.

Although Seoul has neither confirmed nor denied the report, it believes that a delegation of a dozen Iranian scientists may have been technically involved in North Korea’s failed long-range rocket launch, which North Korea said was a satellite launch.

Now, the Islamic Republic may be planning a presence at North Korea’s upcoming third nuclear test as well.

South Korea government sources said on Sunday that North Korea appears

to have completed preparations for the test, and would need only to push a button to detonate an atomic bomb.

The test could come as soon as early to middle May.

North Korea has tested two atomic bombs in recent years, once in 2006 and again in 2009 – both times after it carried out failed missile tests.” Read more.

Egyptian Presidential Candidate Amr Moussa: Camp David Accords ‘Dead and Buried’

05/01/2012 Leave a comment

Isn’t it interesting how an Egyptian Presidential candidate now needs to speak in order to win the voting public’s support? As revealing as these words are as far as the candidate is concerned, it reveals even more about the current state of Egypt and the people now empowered to cast the ballot …

By Elad Benari – “Amr Moussa, a frontrunner in the Egyptian presidential race, criticized the peace agreement between Israel and Egypt on Monday and said that ‘the Camp David accords were dead and buried long ago.’

Moussa, who spoke during a meeting with voters in the Sohag region in southern Egypt, said, ‘The Camp David agreements do not exist anymore. They are an historic document whose place is on the shelf. The purpose of the agreement with Israel was to establish an independent Palestinian government, whereas today we are talking about an independent Palestinian state.’ His remarks were quoted by the Yisrael Hayom newspaper.

He stressed, however, that ‘as long as Israel respects the peace treaty with Egypt we will do so as well, even though the primary document which governs the relationship between Israel and the Arabs is the Arab initiative of 2002.’ These remarks echo similar ones he has made in the past.

Moussa served as foreign minister in the government of ousted President Hosni Mubarak. He then went on to serve as the head of the Arab League, a position which he gave up last year in order to run for the Egyptian presidency.” Read more.

Chechnya: Women In Mortal Fear As Chechen President Promotes Islamic Honor Killings

Don’t be surprised if Chechen President Ramzan “Misogynov” Kadyrov begins demanding death to women if they go anywhere near bananas, cucumbers, carrots and zucchini, or if they wear high heels, or dare to have ‘alluring eyes’, or if Chechnya feels another earthquake

When I stood on the door of hell, I saw most of its inhabitants were women” – Prophet of Islam, Mohammed, Sahih AlBukhari, 5196

By Diana Markosian, The Washington Times – “ACHXOY-MARTAN, Chechnya — Chechnya’s government is openly approving of families that kill female relatives who violate their sense of honor, as this Russian republic embraces a fundamentalist interpretation of Islam after decades of religious suppression under Soviet rule.

In the past five years, the bodies of dozens of young Chechen women have been found dumped in woods, abandoned in alleys and left along roads in the capital, Grozny, and neighboring villages.

Chechen President Ramzan Kadyrov publicly announced that the dead women had ‘loose morals’ and were rightfully shot by male relatives. He went on to describe women as the property of their husbands, and said their main role is to bear children.

‘If a woman runs around and if a man runs around with her, both of them should be killed,’ said Mr. Kadyrov, who often has stated his goal of making Chechnya ‘more Islamic than the Islamists.’

In today’s Chechnya, alcohol is all but banned, Islamic dress codes are enforced and polygamous marriages are supported by the government.” Read more.

Top 10 Qur’an Quotes Every Woman Must See – “Islam in its purest form honors and elevates women, we are often told. But does it? All too often, textual reality (the Quran) matches up with the historical reality of seventh—century Arabia. Gender inequality and oppression in the Quran reflect the culture of seventh century desert nomads. If Allah and Muhammad improved on this patriarchy, then they did not go far enough for a religion with a claim to universality. Here are the top ten rules in the Quran that oppress and insult women.” Read more.
