Malaysia: Authorities Give Green Light to Anti-Christian ‘Defend Islam’ Rally

It is calling for a new law to punish those who try to convert Muslims.

The rally comes after a controversial raid in August by the Selangor Islamic authorities on a church dinner attended by Muslims. The Sultan of Selangor later said the authorities did find evidence of attempts to convert Muslims but it was insufficient for legal action.

everybody has a right to choose his/her own religion. NO government, body, or authority should prevent anyone from changing his/her religion, whether it be christian to muslim, or vice versa. if you use laws to keep people in a religion than what is the point, knowing that they are only in it involuntarily?
