US Intelligence Report Says Libyan Jihadists Planning to Subvert Post-Gadhafi Gov’t and Create an Islamist State

I’m curious, did any of these White House ’employees’ influence Obama’s decision to support the Libyan ‘rebels’, or the ouster of Egypt’s Hosni Mubarak for that matter?  The answer to this question is becoming increasingly clear, especially when we’ve already known for some time now that al Qaeda and possibly even Hezbollah had elements already entrenched among the rebel fighters.  Obama’s ‘non-war‘ war is about to get even more convoluted than it already is …

By Bill Gertz – “Jihadists among the Libyan rebels revealed plans last week on the Internet to subvert the post-Moammar Gadhafi government and create an Islamist state, according to U.S. intelligence agencies.

U.S. officials said spy agencies are stepping up surveillance of Islamist-oriented elements among Libyan rebels. A government report circulated Tuesday said extremists were observed ‘strategizing’ on Internet forums about how to set up an Islamist state in Libya after the regime of Col. Gadhafi is defeated.

‘Several forum participants have suggested that, following a transitional stage, the battle should turn against secularist rebels and members of the [rebels’] Transitional National Council,’ the unclassified report stated.

Some U.S. officials sought to play down the remarks by noting that such Internet postings are not always accurate measures of jihadist plans.

The report said the jihadists’ strength and influence on the ground ‘are uncertain at this time.’

However, the report said the jihadist plotting coincided with the high-profile emergence of Abu Abdallah al-Sadiq, a former leader of the al Qaeda-linked Libyan Islamic Fighting Group (LIFG) and now a leading rebel. He is currently known as Abdel Hakim al-Khulidi Belhaj and led rebels in overrunning Col. Gadhafi’s Tripoli compound.” Read more.

Flashback: Killers of Libyan rebels’ military chief were members of an Islamist-linked militia allied to the rebel campaign  – “The gunmen who shot dead the Libyan rebels’ military chief Abdul Fatah Younis were members of an Islamist-linked militia allied to the campaign to overthrow Muammar Gaddafi, according to a National Transitional Council minister. After 24 hours of confusion surrounding the death, the NTC’s oil minister, Ali Tarhouni, said Younis had been killed by members of the Obaida Ibn Jarrah Brigade, a militia named after one of the companions of the Prophet Muhammad, suggesting that Islamist elements were involved.” Read more.

Flashback: The headless corpse, the mass grave and worrying questions about Libya’s rebel army– “The streaks of blood, smeared along the sides of this impromptu mass grave suggested a rushed operation, a hurried attempt to dispose of the victims. Who the men were and what happened to them, close to the Libyan rebels’ western front line town of Al-Qawalish in the Nafusa Mountains, remains unknown. But the evidence of a brutal end were clear. One of the corpses had been cleanly decapitated, while the trousers of another had been ripped down to his ankles, a way of humiliating a dead enemy. By DPA – “Some 140 countries support a United Nations General Assembly resolution recognizing Palestine, a senior Palestinian official said Sunday.

‘Around 140 countries would vote in favor of an independent state of Palestine during the United Nations General Assembly meetings due to start on September 23,’ Nabil Shaath, a senior negotiator, told a news conference in Ramallah.

He said his estimated number was the result of marathon visits by Palestinian leaders across the globe over the past months.

‘Many Palestinian leaders and officials (including Shaath) went on separate tours and visits to convince the world’s countries to recognize the Palestinian state on the territories occupied by Israel in 1967,’ said Shaath.” Read more.

Israel defense officials: IDF fully prepared to cope with mass Palestinian protests – “Senior Israeli defense establishment officials told U.S. diplomats last year that they were concerned about the Israel Defense Forces’ ability to deal with nonviolent protests on the part of the Palestinians, according to documents published this weekend on the WikiLeaks website… Following the WikiLeaks publications, sources at the Central Command said the statements made to the U.S. diplomats were no longer relevant, and that the IDF was now well prepared to cope with mass demonstrations in the West Bank after the UN vote.” Read more.

New York: Tornado Reported Near Amsterdam, ‘There Are Reports of Damage to Numerous Structures’

“Syracuse, N.Y. — Numerous buildings in the Amsterdam area have reportedly been damaged this evening by what appeared to be a tornado, Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced at about 9 p.m.

‘At this time, there have been no reports of any serious injuries, but there are reports of damage to numerous structures,’ Cuomo said. ‘I have dispatched the state police as well as state urban search and rescue personnel, who were in the area for Hurricane Irene assignments, to lead the state’s response and to assess the damage. Power crews are also on the scene to restore electricity to any customers who may have been affected.’

The National Weather Service issued a flash flood warning at 5:30 p.m. today for Montgomery County, southern Fulton and southern Herkimer counties. Severe thunderstorms dumped one to two inches of rain in the region, it said.” Source.

Obama’s Libyan Rebel ‘Allies’ Are Rounding Up and Jailing Thousands of Black Africans

If the Islamist rebel’s prophet Mohammed was prejudiced against black people and treated them like animals, then it is only reasonable to expect that black Africans in Libya could be treated with similar disdain …

By BEN HUBBARD – “TRIPOLI, Libya (AP) — Rebel forces and armed civilians are rounding up thousands of black Libyans and migrants from sub-Sahara Africa, accusing them of fighting for ousted strongman Moammar Gadhafi and holding them in makeshift jails across the capital.

Virtually all of the detainees say they are innocent migrant workers, and in most cases there is no evidence that they are lying. But that is not stopping the rebels from placing the men in facilities like the Gate of the Sea sports club, where about 200 detainees — all black — clustered on a soccer field this week, bunching against a high wall to avoid the scorching sun.

Handling the prisoners is one of the first major tests for the rebel leaders, who are scrambling to set up a government that they promise will respect human rights and international norms, unlike the dictatorship they overthrew.

The rebels’ National Transitional Council has called on fighters not to abuse prisoners and says those accused of crimes will receive fair trials. There has been little credible evidence of rebels killing or systematically abusing captives during the six-month conflict. Still, the African Union and Amnesty International have protested the treatment of blacks inside Libya, saying there is a potential for serious abuse.” Read more.

Mohammed the Racist  – “Did [Mohammed] own black slaves? This question is very important for black Americans because they have been conned by Farakhan and other black Muslims into thinking that Mohammed was a black man and Islam is the black man’s religion. But if it can be shown that Mohammed was a white man, that he was a racist, that he had prejudicial attitudes against black people, and that he was a slave owner of black slaves, then Islam will lose all respect in the black community. What is the truth? Mohammed was a white man. There can be no doubt of this because the Sahih Bukhari Hadith states this plain and simple. Since Bukhari is accepted by all Muslims as the greatest of all Hadith Scholars. His work is entitled ‘Sahih’ which means that it is absolutely authentic. In Hadith 63, vol. 1, when a man arrived at the mosque, he asked, ‘Who amongst you is Mohammed?’ The companions of the prophet replied: ‘This white man reclining on his arm’ … Mohammed was a slave owner of black slaves. In Hadith no. 436, vol. 6 when Umar came to visit Mohammed, he saw ‘a black slave of Allah’s apostle setting on the first step.’ Lest some Muslim fool claim that Mohammed had only one black slave, we will quote from ‘Ibn Qayyim Aljawiyya’ a great historian. In his famous book Zad al-Ma’ad (part 1, pg. 160 and pgs. 114-116) we read: [Mohammed had many male and female slaves. He used to buy and sell them, but he purchased more slaves than he sold, especially after God empowered him by His message, as well as after his immigration from Mecca. US Warns of Small Airplane Terror Threats From Al-Qaida and Its Affiliates, National Security Stepped Up As Precaution

Yet again, intelligence pointing to any right-wing terror threats remains inexplicably absent …

“WASHINGTON (AP) — The FBI and Homeland Security have issued a nationwide warning about al-Qaida threats to small airplanes, just days before the anniversary of the 2001 terrorist attacks.

Authorities say there is no specific or credible terrorist threat for the 10-year anniversary of the attacks on the World Trade Center and Pentagon. But they have stepped up national security a precaution.

According to a five-page law enforcement bulletin issued Friday, as recently as early this year, al-Qaida was considering ways to attack airplanes.

The alert, issued ahead of the summer’s last busy travel weekend, said terrorists have considered renting private planes and loading them with explosives.

‘Al-Qaida and its affiliates have maintained an interest in obtaining aviation training, particularly on small aircraft, and in recruiting Western individuals for training in Europe or the United States, although we do not have current, credible information or intelligence of an imminent attack being planned,’ according to the bulletin obtained by The Associated Press.

The bulletin also says al-Qaida would like to use sympathetic Westerners to get flight training, then get them to become flight instructors.” Read more.

Former Member of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard: Why I Renounce Islam and Choose Christ

Modern-day Iran has been dominated by Islam since the Muslim conquest of Persia in the seventh century. When I was born, during the reign of Mohammad Reza Shah Pahlavi, there was freedom of religion, but, like the vast majority of people, I was raised a Muslim. Though many Iranians did not practice the religion, they were respectful of its belief, and it was through my grandmother that I learned about Islam and how I could find my way to God in becoming a pure human being.

Islam has been passed from one generation to another, each believing that it represented a God who loved and promoted respect, justice and enlightenment. I grew up believing in a loving God, always relying on Him to help me choose the right path in life. When the Islamic Revolution took place in 1979, sending the shah into exile, I returned home from the United States, where I had just finished my education. I wanted to help my country progress, hopeful that there would be full democracy. I believed that Ayatollah Khomeini would be true to his promise of freedom for all.

A childhood friend talked me into joining the Revolutionary Guards because of the knowledge and expertise in computers I had learned in the United States. But only months later I was shocked to witness the most heinous crimes taking place under the banner of Islam.

The mullahs forced Iranians to adhere to a strict Islamic dress code and subjected them to amputation as the punishment for stealing, lashing for drinking, stoning for adultery. Boys and girls seeking the freedoms promised to them were rounded up and taken to Evin prison. Many were raped, tortured and executed, among them my best friend and his siblings. Teenage girls were raped prior to execution because in Islam a virgin can go to heaven, and the ‘men of God’ wanted to deny them that reward. Others were slowly lowered in tanks of acid so they would die painfully.” Read more.

Malaysian Ambassador to the US: Malaysians Should Support Obama’s Pro-Islamic Policies

Notwithstanding the fact that Iranian President Ahmadinejad and US President Obama both support the Libyan rebels, or the fact that Osama bin Laden and Barack Hussein Obama both praised the ‘Arab Spring‘, this alone should say a lot regarding Obama’s agenda …

He said it was especially crucial as Obama was facing great challenges to his policies from Congress.

‘The previous administration’s policies towards Islamic countries were very worrying to us.’

‘Ever since Obama took over, he has been implementing changes to build better relations with Islamic nations,’ said Dr Jamaluddin.

He added that Obama should be supported so he would continue to treat Muslims fairly.

‘It is not easy for him to change the prejudice towards Islam which has become deeply set.’

Large majority of American Muslims support Barack Obama – “A majority of US Muslims are content with the nation’s direction in contrast to many Americans and few Muslims believe there is support for Islamic extremism here, a survey released on Tuesday found… In contrast to the majority of the general public dissatisfied with the nation’s direction, 56 percent of the estimated 2.75 million American Muslims said they are satisfied, the survey showed. Seven out of 10 view President Barack Obama’s tenure favorably.” Read more.

Three Muslim Brotherhood members employed by the White House, influencing policies of President Obama – “Rashad Hussain is Obama’s special envoy to the 52-nation Organization of the Islamic Conference. His background is entrenched in the Muslim Brotherhood… Dalia Mogahed is a speech writer and chief advisor on Islamic affairs for Barack Obama. Numerous sites provide information that show Ms. Mogahed is pro-Sharia and deeply entrenched with the Muslim Brotherhood and its offshoot, Muslim American Society… Azizah al-Hibri was appointed by the president to the Commission on International Religious Freedom. She is an intellectual professor and lawyer who defends Islamic law. She once served on the advisory board for Mohammed Alamoudi of the American Muslim Council, defending Alamoudi even after he made public statements supporting terrorism.” Read more.

Flashback: Obama allows 80,000 Muslim immigrants into United States – “President Barack Hussein Obama, in a determination letter to Congress, has announced that he will allow an additional 80,000 immigrants –- mostly from Islamic countries –- to resettle in the United States during fiscal year 2011. Mr. Obama says that the increase in Muslim immigrants ‘is justified by humanitarian concerns or is otherwise in the national interest.’ For a president who browbeats Americans about the Federal government having separation of church and state he sure is advocating one religion consistently over all the others. First it was that we had no choice but to build the mosque at Ground Zero in New York, now it is that a certain ethnic segment is getting preferential treatment over all other Americans.” Read more.
