Solar Flares May Impact Communications This Weekend

By JUSTIN HO – “Energy released from solar plasma blasts will reach Earth throughout Friday and Saturday, potentially disrupting communications and electrical grids, according to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.

The explosion on the sun’s surface could affect precision satellite systems such as GPS and high-frequency radio waves, which airlines use for communication.

‘High-precision GPS navigation systems may not work as well today,’ said Joseph Kunches, a space scientist for the NOAA’s Space Weather Prediction Center.

Friday’s explosion is second of three recent blasts on the sun’s surface directed toward the Earth. The experts said the current wave could go on until Saturday night at the latest.

‘You can think of them as sort of tsunamis in space,’ said SWPC Director Tom Bogdan. ‘The first one was fairly weak, and we’re now seeing the next one coming in.’

However, Bogdan said these effects will be more potent throughout the next few years, adding that Friday’s storm is a ‘two or three out of five’ in terms of its potential impact. This kind of activity will increase in frequency, he said, peaking sometime around 2013.” Read more.

Faber: Brace for a Global ‘Reboot’ and a War, World Economy is Rolling Towards Total Collapse

By Peter Guest – “Markets could rebound after Thursday’s global market sell-off, but investors should see any bounce as a selling opportunity, as the world economy rolls towards total collapse, Mark Faber, editor and publisher of the Boom, Doom and Gloom Report, told CNBC Friday.

A mooted third round of quantitative easing in the U.S. and more money printing elsewhere is merely deferring a crisis that will be bigger and could end in war, Faber said.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average suffered its worst losses in three years Thursday, shedding more than 500 points.

‘My view is that the market has experienced everywhere huge technical damage,’ Faber said. ‘As of today, all markets are extremely oversold, so a rebound is going to happen (Friday) or on Monday, but the damage technically is so great that the rebound, no matter whether QE3 happens right here, it’s unlikely to lift markets above the May 2 high of 1370.’

Faber thinks that by the end of the fall, the S&P 500 will have slid to around 1150, and investors will be hoping that further round of monetary easing will stabilize markets.

‘In general, I would be using rebounds as a selling opportunity,’ Faber said.

Buying Treasurys as a safe haven is no longer a smart play, he added.” Read more.

‘UNPRECEDENTED’: S&P downgrades U.S. credit rating – “The United States lost its top-notch AAA credit rating from Standard & Poor’s on Friday in an unprecedented reversal of fortune for the world’s largest economy. S&P cut the long-term U.S. credit rating by one notch to AA-plus on concerns about the government’s budget deficits and rising debt burden. The move is likely to raise borrowing costs eventually for the American government, companies and consumers.” Read more.

Russian Volcano Shows Signs Of Impending Eruption

By MARK DUNPHY – “The Kamchatka Peninsula, along Russia’s Pacific coast, is currently the most volcanically active area in the world: four volcanoes are erupting simultaneously, and a fifth is showing signs of an impending eruption.

Ash plumes from two of these volcanoes are visible in this natural-colour satellite image.Along the northern (top) edge of the image Shiveluch emits a broad gray plume from the lava dome growing on its southern flank. 90 kilometres (60 miles) to the southwest a much smaller plume escapes from Bezymianny.

This image was acquired by the Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) aboard the Aqua satellite on August 3, 2011. Bright green vegetation covers the river floodplains and mountainsides, which gives way to bare rock and eventually snow at higher elevations.” Source.

Former Comptroller General of the United States: ‘Sudden And Very Painful’ Economic Collapse Is Coming

08/05/2011 Leave a comment

By Steve Watson – “Former head of the Government Accountability Office and Comptroller General of the United States, David Walker has issued a stark warning following the compromise deal to raise the debt ceiling.

‘We are less than three years away from where Greece had its debt crisis as to where they were from debt to GDP,’ Walker highlighted in an interview with CNBC earlier today.

Greece’s ratio of debt to GDP has surpassed 100% and is heading towards 150%, a factor that has meant without bailouts from the EU and the IMF, the country would have defaulted.

The US is now nearing the same 100% margin with GDP growth floundering below 1%.

‘We should recognize that this could be a leading indicator for us,’ Walker said, adding that something must be done now to significantly restructure government spending if a major collapse is to be avoided in the future.

Walker, who has long spoken out against wasteful federal spending, urged that the nation should ‘deal with the disease, instead of the symptoms,’ adding that increasing the debt ceiling as well as federal budget deficits will inevitably lead to the same situation in the US as has been witnessed in Greece.” Read more.

Wisconsin: Hundreds of Young Black People Attack Whites Outside State Fair, ‘It Was 100% Racial … They Were Attacking Everybody’

Matthew 24:6-7, 12, “And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all [these things] must come to pass, but the end is not yet.  For ‘ethnos‘ shall rise against ‘ethnos‘ … And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.”

Sorry, Rodney.  Memories are more selective today than ever.  Yet again, instead of stepping away from a history that should by now have been well behind us all, an increasing number of black youth in America relish the idea of ‘acting stupidly‘ …

“WEST ALLIS – Witnesses tell Newsradio 620 WTMJ and TODAY’S TMJ4 of a mob of young people attacking innocent fair-goers at the end of the opening night of State Fair, with some callers claiming a racially-charged scene.

Milwaukee Police confirmed there were assaults outside the fair.

Witnesses’ accounts claim everything from dozens to hundreds of young black people beating white people as they left State Fair Thursday night.

Authorities have not given official estimates of the number of people involved in the attacks.

‘It looked like they were just going after white guys, white people,’ said Norb Roffers of Wind Lake in an interview with Newsradio 620 WTMJ. He left the State Fair Entrance near the corner of South 84th Street and West Schlinger Avenue in West Allis.

‘They were attacking everybody for no reason whatsoever.’

‘It was 100% racial,’ claimed Eric, an Iraq war veteran from St. Francis who says young people beat on his car.

‘I had a black couple on my right side, and these black kids were running in between all the cars, and they were pounding on my doors and trying to open up doors on my car, and they didn’t do one thing to this black couple that was in this car next to us. They just kept walking right past their car. They were looking in everybody’s windshield as they were running by, seeing who was white and who was black. Guarantee it.’

Eric, a war veteran, said that the scene he saw Thursday outside State Fair compares to what he saw in combat.” Read more.

Flashback: Race relations are now worse in America… despite nation’s first black president, says new poll – “Hopes that race relations in America would improve with the election of the nation’s first black president have been dashed – with figures showing that the situation has actually worsened in the past two years. A new poll found that just 36 per cent of voters now believed that relations between black and white was getting better. This is compared with 62 per cent a year ago and 55 per cent in April.” Read more.
