Report: Obama Planning a Palestinian State with 1948 Borders, Divided Jerusalem

Zechariah 12:2-3, “Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah [and] against Jerusalem.  And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.”

By Maayana Miskin – “United States President Barack Obama has created his own diplomatic plan for talks between Israel and the Palestinian Authority to rival that of Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, according to the New York Times.

Obama’s plan is reportedly based on principles including: the creation of a PA state in Judea and Samaria, with borders based on the 1948 armistice line, the split of Jerusalem, Israel’s capital city, the negation of the PA ‘right of return’ for descendants of Arabs who fled Israel in 1948, and a focus on Israel’s security needs…

Reports that Obama is concocting his own plan for the establishment of a new Arab state in Judea and Samaria angered land of Israel activists. ‘Nobody has the right to steal parts of the land of Israel,’ said Women for Israel’s Future in response.

‘Obama’s Middle East policy is creating waves of terrorism, and chaos. The ‘peace’ initiatives veil a deep enmity and the desire to see Israel fall,’ the group continued.” Read more.

Evangelist Wako Hanake of the Mekane Yesus Church told Compass he had been receiving anonymous messages warning him to stop converting Muslims to Christ. The Muslims who became Christians included several children.

‘Inside the house were iron sheets and timber stored in preparation for putting up a permanent house,’ said Hanake, who is in his late 30s. ‘I have lost everything.'”  Read more.

“ISTANBUL, April 21 (CDN) — A father and daughter who fled Egypt to Syria after spending two and a half years in hiding for becoming Christians have arrived in France and yesterday applied for asylum there, human rights advocates said.

Maher Ahmad El-Mo’otahssem Bellah El-Gohary, 58, had become the target of Islamic ill will in Egypt after he tried to change the religious affiliation on his national identification card from Muslim to Christian. He and his daughter, 17-year-old Dina Mo’otahssem, arrived in Paris from Syria on March 30 after having fled to Damascus on Feb. 22 in the wake of the revolution in Egypt that deposed then-President Hosni Mubarak.”  Read more.

Weazel Zippers – “Notorious pro-Taliban Islamist clergy in Bangladesh, Mufti Fazlul Haque Amini has threatened to wage jihad in the country if the government will pass any law banning child marriage.

He said, two hundred thousand Jihadists of his group are ready to ‘sacrifice’ lives if any such law, which goes against ‘Koran and Sunnah’ will be passed by the current government in the country.

Mufti Amini said, ‘Banning child marriage will cause challenging the marriage of the holy prophet of Islam, who also married minor Ayesha, when she was just eight years old’.

He said, ‘The new law initiated by the current government will put the moral character of the prophet into controversy and challenge.’

Fazlul Haque Amini further said, ‘Islam permits child marriage and it will not be tolerated if any ruler will ever try to touch this issue in the name of giving more rights to women.'”  Read more.

“In the past three days, five more common dolphins have washed up on Southern California beaches, dead or dying, bringing the total death toll to 16 dolphins and one Dall’s porpoise since April 1.

‘The dolphins that are washing up on the beaches are a window to what’s going on in the ocean’s environment,’ said Joe Cordaro, a National Marine Fisheries wildlife biologist. ‘Undoubtedly more animals are dying at sea. It’s just impossible to say how many.’

Most have washed ashore from Malibu to Newport Beach, including recent strandings at Rat Beach, Manhattan Beach and here in Hermosa Beach.”  Read more.

By Elliott Blackburn – “(Reuters) – Texas Governor Rick Perry called on Texans to pray for rain as cooler temperatures on Thursday helped firefighters contain wildfires that have charred more than 1.5 million acres across the state.

Perry, a Republican, sought increased federal help in combating the blazes last weekend and urged Texans to ask the same from a higher power over the Easter holiday weekend.

‘Throughout our history, both as a state and as individuals, Texans have been strengthened, assured and lifted up through prayer,’ Perry said in a statement.

‘It is fitting that Texans should join together in prayer to humbly seek an end to this ongoing drought and these devastating wildfires.'”  Read more.

Europe Prays for Easter Rain in Worst Drought in a Century

“The Dutch have banned barbecues, camp fires and outdoor smoking this Easter, while the Swiss are forecasting potentially the worst drought in Europe for more than a century.

Either way, prayers in Europe this Easter holiday weekend are as likely to call for rain as anything else — with serious fears over the wheat harvest, its impact on already sky-high global food prices and, of course, devastating brush fires.

A year ago, it was Russia that bore the brunt of global warming, and with the price of benchmark wheat futures jumping by more than a fifth since the spring in the global market hub of Chicago, farmers everywhere are busy scanning the skies for soothing signs.

Traditional Easter fairs in the east and the north of the Netherlands have been cancelled because of the risk of fires posed by the extraordinarily dry weather affecting northern Europe, Dutch news agency ANP said.”  Read more.

Terror Warning: Hezbollah to Attack Israelis Abroad

By Hanan Greenberg – “The defense establishment has recently obtained exact information regarding Hezbollah’s intention to carry out a terrorist attack at a destination that is frequented by Israelis abroad, in retaliation for the assassination of a senior official over three years ago.

Hezbollah blames Israel for taking out its chief of operations, Imad Mugniyah, in February 2008.

According to defense establishment sources, similar intelligence was uncovered in the past, and terrorist attacks were consequently thwarted in various locations outside of Israel. In this case it appears that Hezbollah is preparing to carry out an attack that cannot be traced back to the organization, in order to avoid triggering a confrontation on Israel’s northern border.”  Read more.

Europe Considering Recognition of Palestine September 2011

“France said Thursday that European nations are considering recognizing a Palestinian state, heightening pressure on the United States and Israel to re-launch the Middle East peace process.

‘Recognition of the state of Palestine is one of the options which France is considering, with its European partners, in a bid to re-launch the peace process,’ French ambassador Gerard Araud told a Security Council debate on the Middle East.

Britain also indicated that state recognition could be considered.

‘Nothing is off the table with regard to recognition in September,’ said a British spokesman. ‘But nor are we specifying what conditions would be necessary, or sufficient, to recognize, or indeed not to recognize – we’ll have to look at all relevant factors at the time.'”  Read more.

Islamist Preacher Ordered to Leave Germany Immediately or Be Arrested

04/22/2011 1 comment

“A radical Muslim preacher has been ordered by German authorities to depart the country immediately. The move comes after he attended an Islamist rally in Frankfurt that took place despite the objections of city leaders.

Citing security concerns, the authorities said if he doesn’t depart on his own, he could be arrested and forcibly deported.

Philips, who was born in Jamaica and raised in Canada, spoke in Frankfurt earlier this week on the subject “Islam, the Misunderstood Religion” alongside German Islamist preacher Pierre Vogel – who authorities have no way to deport – after a court allowed the event over the objections of Frankfurt officials.

Arid Uka, the 21-year-old Kosovar who has admitted to killing two US airmen in Frankfurt in March, is thought to have established contact to radical Islamist preachers including Vogel before the shooting.”  Read more.
