Pakistani Christians Forced to Convert to Islam Because of Threats and Intimidations

Revelation 13:16-17, “… it causes all, both small and great, both rich and poor, both free and slave, to be marked on the right hand or the forehead, so that no one can buy or sell unless he has the mark, that is, the name of the beast or the number of its name.” (ESV)

“On a sunny afternoon in the second week of February 2011, 45-year-old Azra Bibi, clad in black shawl, entered the reception of Jamia Naeemia with her ten year old son, a leading Sunni-Barelvi madrassa situated in a congested area of Lahore. Accompanied by a 45-year-old Muslim witness Chaudhry Muhammad Islam, Azra a recent convert to Islam along with her six children asked for the imam of the Jamia. She has come here to get proper documents to prove in the court that she was no longer a Christian…

Human Right activists say there is no mechanism to gauge whether the Christians converting to Islam have been doing it under their own free will or duress. ‘We receive many cases every year in which Christian girls are abducted and forced to marry Muslim men,’ I.A. Rehman, Director Human Rights Commission of Pakistan, tells TNS. ‘Security is a major reason these days for minorities to convert to Islam. We have registered cases in which people are deprived of their jobs on the basis of their faith, admissions to colleges and schools are denied and then there are social taboos that result in discrimination. All these factors can lead to religious conversion.'”  Read more.

The Muslim Brotherhood Exposed by Secret Cables Leaked to Wikileaks

The Muslim Brotherhood exposed by secret cables leaked to Wikileaks:

  • Egypt tells us that the Muslim Brotherhood is clandestinely supported by our arch-enemy Iran.
  • The UAE tells us that the Brotherhood equates to extremism and seeks to systematically radicalize youth by infiltrating countries through the educational system.
  • Our Spanish ally indicts the Brotherhood for creating terrorist organizations in their country, and
  • The Saudis say that the Brotherhood is the cause of all their problems.
  • Our policymakers are cross with Qatar for allowing the Jihad-mongering Qaradawi, who is closely associated with the Muslim American Society, to support Hamas.
  • Finish all that off with the fact that the Holy Land Foundation trial proved that the American Muslim Brotherhood directly funds terrorists; controls Islam in America, and that it wants to destroy our civilization from within via subversion and sabotage.
  • Our allies are telling us that they have a problem, and the Holy Land Foundation case shows us that we share the same problem.
  • If we can learn all this from a brief analysis of these cables and some publicly available information, it begs the question as to how it is possible that our government has yet to focus attention on any American Muslim Brotherhood organization.

This is the group that US President Barak Obama supports.  This is the group that Director of US “Intelligence” James Clapper claimed was “largely secular”.  Either these men are woefully ignorant, or they are purposefully turning a blind eye to the clear and present danger that is radical Islam. Either way, they both do a disservice to the nation they swore to protect.

Muslim Student Group a Gateway to Jihad?

03/21/2011 1 comment

“WASHINGTON – The Muslim Students Association, or MSA, is one of the largest Islamic organizations in America, with chapters on hundreds of college campuses. It’s alumni include doctors, lawyers and engineers.

But the group has another track record that it doesn’t advertise: several of its leaders have been convicted of terrorism, prompting some terror experts to call the MSA a recruiting tool for jihad.

Although many Muslim and liberal groups complained about recent congressional hearings on homegrown Islamic radicalism, American-born Muslims are behind a growing number of terror plots — a trend that Attorney General Eric Holder has said keeps him “up at night.”

Many of these homegrown jihadists once belonged to the MSA, which has thousands of members on college campuses throughout the U.S. and Canada.”  Read more.

Mideast in Turmoil: Two Key US Allies in Danger

“Uprisings in the Arab world escalated at a fever pitch Sunday and threatened two key US allies, Bahrain and Yemen, where a top Yemini general and two other commanders joined the anti-government rebellion against President Ali Abdullah Saleh.

Saleh, who has held power in the terror-ridden country for 32 years, is a key ally with the United States whose fall from power could have immense ramifications in the American war against al-Qaeda and Taliban terrorists.

Saleh fired his cabinet Sunday after two senior officials quit in protest of his attempts to suppress demonstrators with brute force. More than 50 people were killed last week. Tanks were roaming the streets of the capital of Sana’a Monday.

The three army officers who turned against Saleh are members of his own tribe, which also has called on him to resign.

In Bahrain, home to the U.S. Navy’s 5th Fleet, Sunni Muslim King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa said his forces have foiled a foreign plot against his rule.

Saudi Arabia, which like Bahrain is ruled by the Sunni Muslim despite a majority of Shi’ite Muslims, has sent 1,000 troops to help the government suppress the uprising on fears that the fall of Bahraini kingdom could spell trouble for the Saudi King, Abdullah.”  Source.

Egypt’s Constitution Amended, Muslim Brotherhood Now Approved by Egyptian Voters

“CAIRO — Egyptian voters overwhelmingly approved a referendum on constitutional changes on Sunday that will usher in rapid elections, with the results underscoring the strength of established political organizations, particularly the Muslim Brotherhood, and the weakness of emerging liberal groups.

More than 14.1 million voters, or 77.2 percent, approved the constitutional amendments; 4 million, or 22.8 percent, voted against them. The turnout of 41 percent among the 45 million eligible voters broke all records for recent elections, according to the Egyptian government.

‘This is the first real referendum in Egypt’s history,’ said Mohamed Ahmed Attia, the chairman of the supreme judicial committee that supervised the elections, in announcing the results…

The Muslim Brotherhood and remnant elements of the National Democratic Party, which dominated Egyptian politics for decades, were the main supporters of the referendum. They argued that the election timetable would ensure a swift return to civilian rule.”  Read more.

Workers Flee Japan Nuclear Plant as Smoke Rises

Note: This smoke is coming from reactor no. 3 which contains MOX fuel.

“FUKUSHIMA, Japan (AP) — Gray smoke rose from two reactor units Monday, temporarily stalling critical work to reconnect power lines and restore cooling systems to stabilize Japan’s radiation-leaking nuclear complex.

Workers are racing to bring the nuclear plant under control, but the process is proceeding in fits and starts, stalled by incidents like the smoke and by the need to work methodically to make sure wiring, pumps and other machinery can be safely switched on.

‘Our crisis is still going on. Our crisis is with the nuclear plants. We are doing everything we can to bring this to an end,’ Gov. Yuhei Sato of Fukushima prefecture, where the plant is located, told the more than 1,000 people moved away from the plant into a gymnasium. ‘Don’t give up. We know you are suffering.’

‘Please get us out of here,’ yelled Harunobu Suzuki, a 63-year-old truck driver.

What caused the smoke to billow first from Unit 3 at the Fukushima Dai-ichi plant and later from Unit 2 is under investigation, nuclear safety agency officials said.”  Read more.

Putin Likens U.N. Libya Resolution to Crusade Calls

03/21/2011 Leave a comment

Way to go, Putin.  Calling it a “Crusade” will serve to do nothing but incite the Arab world, giving them yet another reason to hate the West.  Completely irresponsible.

“OTKINSK, Russia (Reuters) – Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin Monday likened the U.N. Security Council resolution supporting military action in Libya to medieval calls for crusades.

Putin, in the first major remarks from a Russian leader since a coalition of Western countries began air strikes in Libya, said that Muammar Gaddafi’s government fell short of democracy but added that did not justify military intervention.

‘The resolution is defective and flawed,’ Putin told workers at a Russian ballistic missile factory. ‘It allows everything. It resembles medieval calls for crusades.’

Putin said that interference in other countries’ internal affairs has become a trend in U.S. foreign policy and that the events in Libya indicated that Russia should strengthen its own defense capabilities.

Russia, a veto-wielding permanent Security Council member, abstained from the vote Thursday in which the council authorized a no-fly zone over Libya and ‘all necessary measures’ to protect civilians against Gaddafi’s forces.”  Source.
