Plague Of Biblical Proportions: Massive Swarm Of Locusts Descends Upon Egypt Ahead Of Passover (Video)

Plagues of locusts? Meh. US Secretary of State John Kerry just announced that he’ll be handing over $250 million to Egypt in support of it’s beautiful democratic future, so all is well. Or is it? …

By STUART WINER, The Times of Israel – “An enormous swarm of locusts is plaguing Egypt, in a development that agricultural authorities admitted they failed to predict.

Egyptian Agricultural Minister Salah Abad Almoman said the swarm, comprising an estimated 30 million insects, descended on Giza, near southern Cairo, where it is causing great damage.

‘The armed forces and the Egyptian border units are trying to battle the swarm with various means at their disposal,’ Almoman said, according to a report in Maariv, but the report did not detail what action was taken. The minister appealed to local residents to refrain from attempting to deal with the ravenous horde themselves.

‘I ask the families living in the area afflicted with the swarm to not light car tires,’ he said. ‘It doesn’t drive the locusts away, it only causes damage, and it could start a fire that will take human life.’

A ministry official said crop-spraying aircraft will be deployed to tackle the insects, which are a seasonal phenomenon in Egypt — albeit not in such large quantities.Read more.

Egypt Struck by Swarm of Locusts Ahead of Passover – “As a reminder to those who thought the account related in the Passover Haggadah might have been an exaggeration – think again. Millions of locusts have swooped down in a swarm from the sky on to the land of Egypt… Residents were warned not to try to drive away the locusts themselves in order to avoid creating further damage. Instead, ‘Egyptian armed forces and border guards are attempting to fight the swarm with all means at their disposal,’ said Egyptian Agriculture Minister Dr. Salah Abd Al Mamon.” Read more.

This month might be an interesting month. Barack Obama is reportedly going to ride into Jerusalem on March 20th. “March 20th happens to be the 9th of Nisan on the Hebrew calendar. What is so special about this date? Palm Sunday is a Christian moveable feast that falls on the Sunday before Easter. The feast commemorates Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem, an event mentioned in all four canonical Gospels.” See goo.gl/xEPP6. Jesus rode into Jerusalem on a donkey. Obama is a Democrat, symbolized by what? A donkey. Coincidence? One has to wonder, what is going on here?

Let not your heart be troubled, Char, things aren’t dangerous for us. We’re already saved and going to be in glory soon. That is, glory that is going to amaze us as to how good it will be. God knows how to take care of those who love Him. Just wait and be of good cheer.
