Barack Obama 2007 Radio Interview: The Day I’m Inaugurated Muslim Hostility Will Ease
Proverbs 22:24-25, “Make no friendship with a man given to anger, nor go with a wrathful man, lest you learn his ways and entangle yourself in a snare.”
Embracing the rise of the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt and employing members of the terror organization at the White House has done nothing to pacify the Muslim world. Spending millions of American tax dollars to build mosques overseas has done nothing to pacify the Muslim world. Pretending that Islamic terrorism doesn’t exist and that the war on terror is over has done nothing to pacify the Muslim world. Nor has treating Israel more like an enemy than a friend, nor has paving the way for Sharia Law in America, nor has hand-picking his own Muslim faith adviser or supporting Arab Spring Islamists. Each and every effort has proven to be one colossal failure after another. Because you and I are still here …
Then: Caller Question: “Can you tell me a little bit more about your background and your experience, and how it will help to repair our negative image in the world?”
Then: Barack Obama, November 21, 2007: “Well, I truly believe that the day I’m inaugurated, not only does the country look at itself differently but the world looks at America differently. If I’m reaching out to the Muslim world they understand that I’ve lived in a Muslim country and I may be a Christian but I also understand their point of view… My sister is half Indonesian, I traveled there all the way through my college years and so I’m intimately concerned with what happens in these countries and the cultures and the perspectives these folks have. And those are powerful tools for us to be able to reach out to the world and when you combine that with my work on the Senate Forum Relations Committee on everything from nuclear proliferation to issues of genocide then I think that the world will have confidence that I am listening to them and that our future and our security is tied up with our ability to work with other countries in the world. That will ultimately make us safer, and that’s something that [the Bush] administration has failed to understand.” (Listen to radio interview on Breitbart).
Now: Barack Obama: The Rodney Dangerfield Of The Muslim World – “On his first Mideast trip, President Obama went to Cairo on bended knee and blew kisses to Muslims worldwide. Three years later, that love is unrequited. Obama entered office refusing to assert American exceptionalism in the Islamic world for fear of offending perpetually offended Muslims. So he launched a charm offensive instead. But his overtures have been met with a series of embarrassing betrayals by his imaginary friends in the Muslim world. In fact, the more Obama has capitulated to them, the more they have sabotaged his peacekeeping efforts.” Read more.
Now: ‘An Ongoing Sharp Increase in Jihad Activity in Obama’s America’ – “It is almost every day now. Jihadi attacks in America. This past week there were three attempted jihad attacks. And what does the media consider the problem? Racistislamophobicantimuslimbigots, of course. On Saturday, a Muslim named Sami Osmakac was arrested in Florida on charges of plotting to go jihad on nightclubs and the Tampa, Florida, sheriff’s headquarters. ‘We all have to die,’ Osmakac said, ‘so why not die the Islamic way?’” Read more.
