By JOSEPH MANGANO and JANETTE SHERMAN – “The myth that Fukushima radiation levels were too low to harm humans persists, a year after the meltdown. A March 2, 2012 New York Times article quoted Vanderbilt University professor John Boice: ‘there’s no opportunity for conducting epidemiological studies that have any chance for success – the doses are just too low.’ Wolfgang Weiss of the UN Scientific Committee on the Effects of Atomic Radiation also recently said doses observed in screening of Japanese people ‘are very low.’
Views like these are political, not scientific, virtually identical to what the nuclear industry cheerleaders claim. Nuclear Energy Institute spokesperson Tony Pietrangelo issued a statement in June that ‘no health effects are expected among the Japanese people as a result of the events at Fukushima.’
In their haste to choke off all consideration of harm from Fukushima radiation, nuclear plant owners and their willing dupes in the scientific community built a castle against invaders – those open-minded researchers who would first conduct objective research BEFORE rushing to judgment. The pro-nuclear chants of ‘no harm’ and ‘no studies needed’ are intended to be permanent, as part of damage control created by a dangerous technology that has produced yet another catastrophe.
But just one year after Fukushima, the ‘no harm’ mantra is now being crowded by evidence – evidence to the contrary.” Read more.
Expert on Asahi TV: If Unit 4 pool gets a crack from quake and leaks, it would be the end for Tokyo – “Most discussion of the No. 4 spent fuel pool has focused on an earthquake causing the pool to collapse. This video [you may need to enable subtitles] is different because it reveals: 1. A crack, rather than the collapse of the pool itself, can be the end of Tokyo, 2. The quake that could put a crack in the pool and be the end of Tokyo does not have to be a large one, 3. The sense of shock when people in Japan are made aware of this information for the first time” Read more.
In addition to this senseless decision, the “we-seek-to-be-Sharia-compliant-and-never-hurt-Muslim-feelings” United Nations has called upon the US military to punish the Qur’an burners for their “grave mistake.” It has appointed “let’s-turn-South-Korea-into-a-sea-of-fire” North Korea to head a conference on disarmament. It has appointed “let’s-stone-even-pregnant-women-to death-for-adultery” Iran to its Commission on the Status of Women. I think it’s high time for “still-equipped-with-a-smidgen-of-common-sense-and-dignity” countries to do what should have been done long ago and withdraw all funding for this useless organization. Otherwise, they might consider doing something else completely cockeyed, such as praising Libya’s “charged-and-wanted-for-war-crimes” dictator Muammar Gaddafi and his regime for its exceptionally good human rights record. Oh, wait …
The UN’s education, science and culture agency voted to keep Syria on its human rights committee, despite protests from the US and the UK. Syria will keep its seat on the Unesco board and human rights panel. The vote was 35 for, eight against, with 14 abstentions and one absent at the meeting in Paris today.
Hillel Neuer, executive director of the Geneva-based UN Watch, said: ‘For Unesco to keep President Bashar al-Assad on a human rights committee while his regime mercilessly murders its own people is simply immoral, indefensible and an insult to Syria’s victims. While today’s text rightly condemns Syria’s violations — a welcome first for Unesco — the promised call to oust the regime from Unesco’s human rights panel has been completely excised.’
‘We’re left with words, but no teeth. By maintaining Assad in a position of global influence on human rights, Unesco today is sending absolutely the wrong message. It an unconscionable insult to the suffering people of Syria.
‘The world squandered a golden opportunity to expose the Assad regime’s lack of legitimacy. Politics simply trumped human rights, with too many Unesco diplomats fearing that if Syria were removed for its violations, many of them would be next.’” Read more.
Why Does U.N. Human Rights Council Turn A Blind Eye to Terrorism? – “Terrorism does not grow in a vacuum. It breeds on a ground of hatred. It thrives in an atmosphere that teaches extremism, and that legitimizes violence against civilians… Let us consider the record. Over the past decade, terrorist attacks were perpetrated in New York, in London, in Madrid, in Mumbai, in Iraq and in Jerusalem. These attacks, and many more, were carried out in the name of an extremist religious ideology. Thousands of innocents were killed. How many urgent sessions did this Council convene to condemn these atrocities? Not one. How many inquiries were created? Not one. How many resolutions were adopted in response to these attacks? Not one. Instead, when justice was served on Osama Bin Laden, U.N. High Commissioner for Human Rights Navi Pillay questioned this act.” Read more.
A plaque in honour of seven soldiers who lost their lives in 2007 was smashed to pieces and a wooden cross destroyed.
News of the attack comes after The Mail on Sunday last week revealed how an armed mob in Libya had filmed themselves desecrating the war graves of more than 150 British servicemen at Benghazi.
The latest outrage happened in the memorial garden in the grounds of the chapel of The Royal Anglian Regiment in Warley, Brentwood.
The garden was built in honour of nine soldiers from the regiment who died during the same tour five years ago. Lance Corporal Darren George, a member of the regiment who was 22 when he became the first British casualty of the Afghan war in April 2002, has a plaque devoted to him inside the chapel.
Last night, his widow Sarah condemned the vandalism, which left pieces of the memorial scattered across the ground along with flowers from a wreath.
‘I couldn’t believe it when I heard,’ she said. ‘It’s disgusting that anybody would do something as nasty as that. I hope the police find whoever did it. The timing was just so callous.’
Essex Police last night confirmed that they were aware of the damage. Retired Royal Anglian Major Tony Jones, 59, who oversees the chapel, said: ‘The damage was mindless thuggery, as far as I can see. They snapped the plaque in half. I feel sad about it.
‘We have never had problems before but it is the only memorial site we have out in the open. We will be replacing it – some local people have already offered to pay for it.’” Read more.

Afghanistan: Rogue US Soldier Kills 16 Civilians, Afghan President Calls It ‘Intentional Murders’, New Mass Rioting Expected
If there is no mass rioting within the next couple of days, only one conclusion can be drawn: The unintentional burning of Qur’ans is much worse than the intentional killing of innocent men, women and children …
“A US soldier in Afghanistan has killed at least 16 civilians and wounded five after entering their homes in Kandahar province, senior local officials say.
He left his military base in the early hours of the morning and opened fire in at least two homes; women and children were among the dead.
Nato said it was investigating the ‘deeply regrettable incident’.
Anti-US sentiment is already high in Afghanistan after US soldiers burnt copies of the Koran last month.
US officials have apologised repeatedly for the incident at a Nato base in Kabul, but they failed to quell a series of protests and attacks that killed at least 30 people and six US troops.
Local people have reportedly gathered near the base in Panjwai district to protest about Sunday’s killings, and the US embassy is advising against travel to the area.
Lt Gen Adrian Bradshaw, deputy commander of Nato-led forces, said he was unable to ‘explain the motivation behind such callous acts’, adding that ‘our thoughts and prayers are with those caught in this tragedy’.” Read more.

Nigeria: Over 5,000 Children at Home After Islamists Destroy Schools in Campaign to Impose Sharia Law
Over 5,000 school children in northern Nigeria are now at home after Boko Haram Islamic militants destroyed their schools in their campaign to impose Islamic Sharia law in the country. The Nation newspaper of Nigeria citing a Human Rights Watch, HRW, report released earlier this week, said since the beginning of 2012, at least 12 schools have been destroyed in the city of Maiduguri, capital of the north eastern Borno State, the heartland of the insurgency.
The group’s Deputy Head, Children Rights Directorate, Zama Coursen-Neff, said Boko Haram attacks on schools represent a new and reprehensible development since the group began its campaign of violence in 2009. Between February 26 and 29, at least four schools were burned, and on March 1, five schools were set ablaze, including Sunshine Stars Secondary School and Success Secondary School, which had an enrollment of 700, the report says. All the attacks have occurred either at night or in the early morning hours.
Attacks on schools by armed groups, HRW warned, not only put children and teachers’ lives at risk, but may also deprive children of an education. It noted that schools may close and children drop out entirely and even when classes resume after an attack, the quality of education may suffer with students and teachers afraid and learning material have been destroyed. The report notes that threats of attacks may also force neighbouring schools to close or parents to keep their children at home.” Read more.
Sudan: Over 500,000 Christians Have Less Than a Month to Leave North Sudan, Aid Agencies Fear Humanitarian Catastrophe
By Fredrick Nzwili – “Sudanese Christians who have barely a month to leave the north or risk being treated as foreigners are starting to move, but Christian leaders are concerned that the 8 April deadline set by Islamic-majority Sudan is unrealistic.
‘We are very concerned. Moving is not easy … people have children in school. They have homes … It is almost impossible,’ Roman Catholic Bishop Daniel Adwok, the Khartoum archdiocese auxiliary told ENInews in a telephone interview on 7 March.
Sudan in February announced the deadline for the former citizens it had stripped of nationality after South Sudan’s January 2011 vote to secede. The ultimatum will affect an estimated 500,000-700,000 people, who are mainly Christians of southern origin that still live in the north…
Some church leaders fear increased persecution of Christians in the north or even forced repatriation for those who may want to stay. ‘The fears have been there from the beginning. There could be some form of harassment, and that could intensify after that date, but for forceful removal, it is hard to ascertain,’ said the Rev. Don Bosco Ochieng, a Roman Catholic priest in the Rumbek diocese.
Aid agencies are calling for the extension of the deadline, warning that it will create a logistical and humanitarian catastrophe.” Read more.

International Christian Concern’s North Africa specialist Jonathan Racho says that a Shariah-compliant constitution will mean more suffering for Sudan’s remaining Christians. ‘This new law (Shariah compliant constitution) is going to affect a significant number of Christians who live in places like Khartoum (the capital city). There are still a significant number of Christians in Sudan,’ Racho said.” Read more.
CAIR Hails ‘Sharia’ Victory in Florida, Presses Broader Agenda in Congress to Allow Islamization in America
‘This is a great success not only for the Muslim community, but for all Americans who believe in the constitutional protections of freedom of religion,’ said Hassan Shibly, Florida director of the Council on American-Islamic Relations.
‘This sends a strong message that we will not tolerate legislation intended to demonize, attack, and marginalize religious minorities in America. Our victory tonight is a great example of how the interfaith and civil rights community united can make a positive difference for all Americans.’
After the House passed Rep. Larry Metz’s HB 1209, the Senate failed to bring Sen. Alan Hays’ SB 1360 to a vote in the closing hours of the legislative session. See story here.
Meantime, CAIR isn’t content just to play defense. Delegations from CAIR this week visited more than 100 congressional offices to press for several pieces of federal legislation.
CAIR representatives asked that lawmakers:
- Re-examine the National Defense Authorization Act of 2012 and repeal the law’s indefinite detention provisions.
- Support and co-sponsor the End Racial Profiling Act of 2011.
- Sign on to a letter requesting that the Department of Justice revise its 2003 policy guidance on racial profiling. CAIR and the ACLU say the current guidelines contain loopholes allowing federal law enforcement agencies to profile at U.S. borders and for reasons of national security.” Source – Sunshine State News.
Flashback: CAIR promises to fight against legislation that bans implementation of ‘foreign laws’ – “Muslim leaders are saying a piece of legislation proposed by Rep. Dave Agema (R-Grandville) is actually an attack on Islam. In June, Agema proposed legislation that would ban the implementation of foreign laws. While the language of the proposal does not say it directly, it would ban Sharia or Islamic law. Agema told the Detroit News that the law is intended to preserve American laws.” Read more.
Ah, but be ye not fooled. According to the leader of the “free world”, Islam is a religion that “reaffirms peace and justice, and fairness and tolerance.” I am sure that if Barack Obama had his teleprompter ready, he would have remembered to include “forgiveness” as well. Yes, the Islamists that plan to eradicate Christianity, the masses that riot and murder over burnt Qur’ans, the mobs that desecrate non-Muslim graves, burn down churches, attack Christians homes, destroy Christian businesses, the Muslim Brotherhood that vows to kill all Jews, the stadium of soccer spectators that cries out in unison for a new holocaust, the call by Iran’s leadership and the masses to destroy Israel and annihilate the Jews, the overall Christian Persecution that is ‘coursing through Muslim-majority nations from one end of the globe to the other’, yes, this is merely the tiny minority. We cannot hear the outcry of the majority, simply because their silence is so deafening …
By David Trifunov – “Shiite extremists are reportedly attacking and killing ‘emo’ teens in poor Iraq neighborhoods, where some say as many as 90 young people have been stoned to death.
The Daily Mail said students with long hair and piercings who wear tight-fitting clothes are targeted.
Brussells Tribunal representative Hana al-Bayaty said ‘between 90 and 100′ teens have died.
‘What’s most disturbing about this is that they’re so young,’ she told The Daily Mail.
The Brussells Tribunal is a non-governmental organization that reports on Iraq.
Reuters is reporting 14 deaths around Baghdad.
Quoting a doctor in Iraq, the bodies of young people have arrived at hospitals and morgues in the last month.
‘Last week, I signed the death certificates of three of those young people, and the reason for death I wrote in my own hand was severe skull fractures,’ one doctor in al-Kindi said. ‘A very powerful blow to the head caused these fractures which totally smashed the skull of the victim.’
Emo is popular among some western teens.” Read more.
Nation of Islam Newspaper Attacks ‘Synagogue of Satan’ Glenn Beck for Farrakhan Comment, ‘We Will Not Allow Such Vicious Assaults’
By Madeleine Morgenstern – “The Nation of Islam’s official newspaper The Final Call on Saturday published an opinion piece attacking ‘minion of the synagogue of Satan’ Glenn Beck for his recent comments about Louis Farrakhan, vowing it will ‘not allow such vicious assaults’ on the movement’s leader.
During his radio show Feb. 27, Beck discussed Farrakhan’s warning that racial hatred could lead to an attempt on President Barack Obama’s life, even suggesting that a Muslim could be set up to kill him. Beck wondered whether the warning could be a kind of set up to draw attention from Farrakhan and his followers — Farrakhan in the past has called Obama a ‘murderer’ and ‘assassin.’
‘I’m telling you this is a clear and present danger to the president of the United States,’ Beck said. ‘Will someone in the Secret Service or DOJ investigate what is happening at the Nation of Islam?’
Responding to Beck’s comments, Abdul Arif Muhammad — identified as the Nation of Islam’s general counsel — said he ‘maliciously attacked not only the good name, reputation, integrity, and character of Minister Farrakhan, but also the over half century of redemptive work he has accomplished.’ …
‘We will not allow such vicious assaults on Minister Farrakhan, a man whose prescient and consistent warnings could save this country,’ Muhammad said. ‘We will and must continue to respond to ‘anti-Farrakhan’ attacks. He deserves and has earned the right to be defended.’” Read more.

And even sooner to take place in America, so don’t you get ‘bent out of shape’ with what you see happening there! While it’s happening there, you better prepare, because it will be coming to your door, America!
